1 Jeová é Rei, tremam os povos; Ele está entronizado sobre os querubins, estremeça a terra.2 Jeová é grande em Sião, E é excelso acima de todos os povos.3 Louvem o teu nome grande e tremendo: Santo é Ele.4 A força do rei ama a justiça; Tu estabeleces a eqüidade, Tu executas o juízo e a justiça em Jacó.5 Exaltai a Jeová nosso Deus, E prostrai-vos ao escabelo dos seus pés: Santo é Ele.6 Moisés e Aarão entre os seus sacerdotes, E Samuel entre os que invocam o seu nome; Estes invocaram a Jeová, e ele lhes respondeu.7 Falou-lhes numa coluna de nuvem: Eles lhe guardaram os testemunhos e o estatuto que ele lhes deu.8 Tu lhes respondeste, ó Jeová, Deus nosso; Tu foste um Deus que lhes perdoou, Embora tomando vingança dos seus atos.9 Exaltai a Jeová, nosso Deus, E prostrai-vos no seu santo monte, Porque santo é Jeová nosso Deus.

1 Jehovah reigneth; let the peoples tremble:

He sitteth above the cherubim; let the earth be moved.

2 Jehovah is great in Zion;

And he is high above all the peoples.

3 Let them praise thy great and terrible name:

Holy is he.

4 The king’s strength also loveth justice;

Thou dost establish equity;

Thou executest justice and righteousness in Jacob.

5 Exalt ye Jehovah our God,

And worship at his footstool:

Holy is he.

6 Moses and Aaron among his priests,

And Samuel among them that call upon his name;

They called upon Jehovah, and he answered them.

7 He spake unto them in the pillar of cloud:

They kept his testimonies,

And the statute that he gave them.

8 Thou answeredst them, O Jehovah our God:

Thou wast a God that forgavest them,

Though thou tookest vengeance of their doings.

9 Exalt ye Jehovah our God,

And worship at his holy hill;

For Jehovah our God is holy.
