1 Ora estes são os nomes das tribos: no extremo norte, ao longo do caminho de Hetlom para quem vai a Hamate até Hazar-Enom que fica junto ao termo de Damasco, para o norte e ao pé de Hamate (elas terão os seus limites ao oriente e ao ocidente) Dã terá uma porção.2 Junto ao termo de Dã, desde o lado oriental até o ocidental, Aser terá uma porção.3 Junto ao termo de Aser, desde o lado oriental até o ocidental, Naftali terá uma porção.4 Junto ao termo de Naftali, desde o lado oriental até o ocidental, Manassés terá uma porção.5 Junto ao termo de Manassés desde o lado oriental até o lado ocidental, Efraim terá uma porção.6 Junto ao termo de Efraim, desde o lado oriental até o lado ocidental, Rúben terá uma porção.7 Junto ao termo de Rúben, desde o lado oriental até o lado ocidental, Judá terá uma porção.8 Junto ao termo de Judá, desde o lado oriental até o lado ocidental, será a oblação que haveis de oferecer, de vinte e cinco mil canas de largura, e do comprimento que tem uma das porções, desde o lado oriental até o lado ocidental. O santuário estará no meio dela.9 A oblação que haveis de oferecer a Jeová terá vinte cinco mil canas de comprido e dez mil de largura.10 Para estes, a saber, para os sacerdotes, será a santa oblação; para o norte vinte e cinco mil canas de comprimento, para o ocidente dez mil de largura, para o oriente dez mil de largura, e para o sul vinte e cinco mil de comprimento. O santuário de Jeová estará no meio dela.11 Será para os sacerdotes que são santificados dentre os filhos de Zadoque, e que têm cumprido as funções por mim prescritas; os quais não se desviavam, quando os filhos de Israel se desviavam, como se desviaram os levitas.12 Ser-lhes-á uma oblação da oblação da terra, coisa santíssima, junto ao termo dos levitas.13 De conformidade com o termo dos sacerdotes, os levitas terão vinte e cinco mil canas de comprimento e dez mil de largura: o comprimento todo será de vinte e cinco mil canas, e a largura de dez mil.14 Não a venderão, nem a trocarão, nem serão alienadas as primícias da terra; porque ela é santa a Jeová.15 As cinco mil canas que restam de largura, defronte das vinte e cinco mil serão para uso comum, para a cidade, para habitação e para arrabaldes; e a cidade estará no meio delas.16 Estas serão as suas medidas: a banda do norte terá quatro mil e quinhentas canas, a banda do sul quatro mil e quinhentas, a banda do oriente quatro mil e quinhentas, e a banda do ocidente quatro mil e quinhentas.17 A cidade terá arrabaldes: para o norte de duzentas e cinqüenta canas, para o sul de duzentas e cinqüenta, para o oriente de duzentas e cinqüenta e para o ocidente de duzentas e cinqüenta.18 O que ficar de resto no comprimento, de conformidade com a santa oblação, será de dez mil canas para o oriente e de dez mil para o ocidente; e será de conformidade com a santa oblação; a sua novidade servirá de alimento para os que trabalham na cidade.19 Os que trabalham na cidade, de todas as tribos de Israel, o cultivarão.20 A oblação toda terá vinte e cinco mil canas por vinte e cinco mil; haveis de oferecer a santa oblação em quadrado, incluindo o que possui a cidade.21 O que restar será para o príncipe, duma e da outra banda da santa oblação e da possessão da cidade, defronte das vinte e cinco mil canas da oblação em direção do termo oriental, e para o ocidente defronte das vinte e cinco mil canas em direção do termo ocidental, de conformidade com as porções, isto será para o príncipe; a santa oblação e o santuário da casa estarão no meio deste espaço.22 Também desde a possessão dos levitas, e desde a possessão da cidade, no meio do que pertence ao príncipe, entre o termo de Judá e o termo de Benjamim, será para o príncipe.23 Quanto ao resto das tribos: desde o lado oriental até o lado ocidental, Benjamim terá uma porção.24 Junto ao termo de Benjamim, desde o lado oriental até o lado ocidental, Simeão terá uma porção.25 Junto ao termo de Simeão, desde o lado oriental até o lado ocidental, Issacar terá uma porção.26 Junto ao termo de Issacar, desde o lado oriental até o lado ocidental, Zebulom terá uma porção.27 Junto ao termo de Zebulom, desde o lado oriental até o lado ocidental, Gade terá uma porção.28 Junto ao termo de Gade, ao lado sul para o sul, o termo será desde Tamar até as águas de Meribá-Cades, até a torrente do Egito, até o grande mar.29 Esta é a terra que repartireis em herança por sortes entre as tribos de Israel, e estas são as suas diversas porções, diz o Senhor Jeová.30 Estas são as saídas da cidade: da banda do norte quatro mil e quinhentas canas por medida.31 As portas da cidade tomarão os nomes das tribos de Israel; três portas para o norte: a porta de Rúben, uma; a porta de Judá, uma; a porta de Levi, uma;32 da banda do oriente, quatro mil e quinhentas canas, e três portas: a porta de José, uma; a porta de Benjamim, uma; a porta de Dã, uma;33 da banda do sul quatro mil e quinhentas canas, e três portas: a porta de Simeão, uma; a porta de Issacar, uma; a porta de Zebulom, uma;34 da banda do ocidente quatro mil e quinhentas canas, com as suas três portas: a porta de Gade, uma; a porta de Aser, uma; a porta de Naftali, uma.35 O seu circuito será de dezoito mil canas, e desde aquele dia o nome da cidade será, Jeová está ali.

And from the east side thereof to the sea, shall be one portion for Dan.2 And by the border of Dan, from the east side even to the side of the sea, one portion for Aser:3 And by the border of Aser, from the east side even to the side of the sea, one portion for Nephthali.4 And by the border of Nephthali, from the east side even to the side of the sea, one portion for Manasses.5 And by the border of Manasses, from the east side even to the side of the sea, one portion for Ephraim.6 And by the border of Ephraim, from the east side even to the side of the sea, one portion for Ruben.7 And by the border of Ruben, from the east side even to the side of the sea, one portion for Juda.8 And by the border of Juda, from the east side even to the side of the sea, shall be the firstfruits which you shall set apart, five and twenty thousand in breadth, and in length, as every one of the portions from the east side to the side of the sea: and the sanctuary shall be in the midst thereof.9 The firstfruits which you shall set apart for the Lord : shall be the length of five and twenty thousand, and the breadth of ten thousand.10 And these shall be the firstfruits of the sanctuary for the priests: toward the north five and twenty thousand in length, and toward the sea ten thousand in breadth, and toward the east also ten thousand in breadth, and toward the south five and twenty thousand in length: and the sanctuary of the Lord shall be in the midst thereof.11 The sanctuary shall be for the priests of the sons of Sadoc, who kept my ceremonies, and went not astray when the children of Israel went astray, as the Levites also went astray.12 And for them shall be the firstfruits of the firstfruits of the land holy of holies, by the border of the Levites.13 And the Levites in like manner shall have by the borders of the priests five and twenty thousand in length, and ten thousand in breadth. All the length shall be five and twenty thousand, and the breadth ten thousand.14 And they shall not sell thereof, nor exchange, neither shall the firstfruits of the land be alienated, because they are sanctified to the Lord.15 But the five thousand that remain in the breadth over against the five and twenty thousand, shall be a profane place for the city for dwelling, and for suburbs: and the city shall be in the midst thereof.16 And these are the measures thereof: on the north side four thousand and five hundred: and on the south side four thousand and five hundred: and on the east side four thousand and five hundred: and on the west side four thousand and five hundred.17 And the suburbs of the city shall be to the north two hundred and fifty, and to the south two hundred and fifty, and to the east two hundred and fifty, and to the sea two hundred and fifty.18 And the residue in length by the firstfruits of the sanctuary, ten thousand toward the east, and ten thousand toward the west, shall be as the firstfruits of the sanctuary: and the fruits thereof shall be for bread to them that serve the city.19 And they that serve the city, shall serve it out of all the tribes of Israel.20 All the firstfruits, of five and twenty thousand, by five and twenty thousand foursquare, shall be set apart for the firstfruits of the sanctuary, and for the possession of the city.21 And the residue shall be for the prince on every side of the firstfruits of the sanctuary, and of the possession of the city over against the five and twenty thousand of the firstfruits unto the east border: toward the sea also over against the five and twenty thousand, unto the border of the sea, shall likewise be the portion of the prince: and the firstfruits of the sanctuary, and the sanctuary of the temple shall be in the midst thereof.22 And from the possession of the Levites, and from the possession of the city which ale in the midst of the prince's portions: what shall be to the border of Juda, and to the border of Benjamin, shall also belong to the prince.23 And for the rest of the tribes: from the east side to the west side, one portion for Benjamin.24 And over against the border of Benjamin, from the east side to the west side, one portion for Simeon.25 And by the border of Simeon, from the east side to the west side, one portion for Issachar.26 And by the border of Issachar, from the east side to the west side, one portion for Zabulon.27 And by the border of Zabulon, from the east side to the side of the sea, one portion for Gad.28 And by the border of Gad, the south side southward: and the border shah be from Thamar, even to the waters of contradiction of Cades, the inheritance over against the great sea.29 This is the land which you shall divide by lot to the tribes of Israel: and these are the portions of them, saith the Lord God.30 And these are the goings out of the city: on the north side thou shalt measure four thousand and five hundred.31 And the gates of the city according to the names of the tribes of Israel, three gates on the north side, the gate of Ruben one, the gate of Juda one, the gate of Levi one.32 And at the east side, four thousand and five hundred: and three gates, the gate of Joseph one, the gate of Benjamin one, the gate of Dan one.33 And at the south side, thou shalt measure four thousand and five hundred: and three gates, the gate of Simeon one, the gate of Issachar one, the gate of Zabulon one.34 And at the west side, four thousand and five hundred, and their three gates, the gate of Gad one, the gate of Aser one, the gate of Nephthali one.35 Its circumference was eighteen thousand: and the name of the city from that day, The Lord is there.
