Isaías 4

1 Sete mulheres, naquele dia, lançarão mão *Is 13.12dum só homem, dizendo: Do nosso pão comeremos e dos nossos vestidos nos vestiremos; concede-nos apenas que sejamos chamados do teu nome; *Is 54.4;Gn 30.23tira o nosso opróbrio.

2 Naquele dia, o *Is 11.1;53.2;Jr 23.5;33.15;Zc 3.8;6.12renovo de Jeová se tornará em beleza e glória, e o *Sl 72.16fruto da terra, em orgulho e adorno para os de Israel que tiverem *Is 10.20;37.31-32;Jl 2.32;Ob 17escapado. 3 Será que quem for *Is 28.5;46.3;Rm 11.4-5deixado em Sião, e ficar em Jerusalém *Is 52.1;62.12chamar-se-á santo; todo aquele que está *Êx 32.32;Sl 69.28;Lc 10.20inscrito entre os vivos em Jerusalém; 4 quando Jeová tiver lavado a *Is 3.24imundícia das *Is 3.16filhas de Sião e tiver purgado a Jerusalém do *Is 1.15sangue que há no meio dela pelo *Is 28.6sopro do juízo e pelo *Is 1.31;9.19;Ml 3.2;Mt 3.11;Lc 3.17sopro do incêndio. 5 Jeová criará, sobre toda a extensão do monte de Sião e sobre as assembleias dela, *Êx 13.21-22;Nm 9.15-23uma nuvem e fumo de dia, e o resplendor dum fogo chamejante de noite. Pois sobre toda a *Is 60.1-2glória se estenderá um dossel. 6 Haverá um *Is 25.4;32.1-2;Sl 27.5pavilhão para sombra de dia contra o calor e para refúgio e esconderijo contra a tempestade e a chuva.

2 In that day shall the branch of the LORD be beautiful and glorious, and the fruit of the earth shall be excellent and comely for them that are escaped of Israel.*4.2 beautiful…: Heb. beauty and glory*4.2 them…: Heb. the escaping 3 And it shall come to pass, that he that is left in Zion, and he that remaineth in Jerusalem, shall be called holy, even every one that is written among the living in Jerusalem:*4.3 among…: or, to life 4 When the Lord shall have washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion, and shall have purged the blood of Jerusalem from the midst thereof by the spirit of judgment, and by the spirit of burning. 5 And the LORD will create upon every dwelling place of mount Zion, and upon her assemblies, a cloud and smoke by day, and the shining of a flaming fire by night: for upon all the glory shall be a defence.*4.5 upon all: or, above all*4.5 defence: Heb. covering 6 And there shall be a tabernacle for a shadow in the daytime from the heat, and for a place of refuge, and for a covert from storm and from rain.
