Amor

37 Jesus said to him, »You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.

38 This is the great and first commandment.

39 And the second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.

13 So now faith, hope, love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love.

15 »If you love me, you will keep my commandments.

9 Let love be genuine. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good.

9 Let love be genuine. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good.

10 Be devoted to one another in brotherly love; outdo one another in showing honor.

13 Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends.

40 And the King will answer them, Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brethren, you did it to me.

35 But love your enemies, do good, and lend, expecting nothing in return; and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High. For he is kind to the ungrateful and evil.

8 Owe no one anything, except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law.

30 And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength.

31 The second is this: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. There is no other commandment greater than these.«

2 If I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge; and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.

37 Jesus said to him, »You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.

38 This is the great and first commandment.

39 And the second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.

40 On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.«

7 Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God.

8 He who does not love does not know God, for God is love.

4 Love is patient, love is kind. It is not jealous or boastful, it is not arrogant

5 or rude, it does not seek its own, it is not provoked, it keeps no record of wrongs,

16 By this we know love, that he laid down his life for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.

17 But if anyone has the world's goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does the love of God abide in him?

18 Little children, let us not love in word or tongue but in deed and in truth.

7 Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God.

5 May the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God and into the steadfastness of Christ.

19 We love because he first loved us.

9 As the Father has loved me, I also have loved you; abide in my love.

10 If you keep my commandments, you will abide in my love, just as I have kept my Father's commandments and abide in his love.

44 But I say to you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you,

14 And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.

12 This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.

38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers,

39 nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

14 Let all that you do be done in love.

10 Be devoted to one another in brotherly love; outdo one another in showing honor.

13 bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord forgave you, so you also must forgive.

14 And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.

9 But, as it is written, »No eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man conceivedwhat God has prepared for those who love him,«

14 We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love the brethren. He who does not love abides in death.

16 So we know and believe the love God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him.

17 In this love is perfected among us, that we may have confidence for the Day of Judgment, because as he is so are we in this world.

18 There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. And he who fears is not made perfect in love.

11 For this is the message which you heard from the beginning, that we should love one another,

8 He who does not love does not know God, for God is love.

8 Above all, hold unfailing your love for one another, because love covers a multitude of sins.

14 For the whole law is fulfilled in one word, »You shall love your neighbor as yourself.«

16 that according to the riches of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in the inner man,

17 so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; and that you, being rooted and grounded in love,

11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.

9 And this is my prayer, that your love may abound still more and more in real knowledge and all discernment,

10 so that you may approve what is excellent, and may be pure and blameless until the day of Christ;

11 having been filled with the fruit of righteousness which comes through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.

2 with all humility and gentleness, with patience, showing tolerance for one another in love,

16 For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.

21 He who has my commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves me. And he who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and manifest myself to him.«

22 Judas (not Iscariot) said to him, »Lord, how is it that you will manifest yourself to us, and not to the world?«

23 Jesus answered him, »If anyone loves me, he will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him.

24 He who does not love me does not keep my words; and the word which you hear is not mine but the Father's who sent me.

12 So whatever you wish that men would do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets.

12 No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God abides in us and his love is perfected in us.

21 And this commandment we have from him: that he who loves God must love his brother also.

16 So we know and believe the love God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him.

25 Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her,

26 that he might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word,

19 We love because he first loved us.

20 If anyone says, »I love God,« and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, cannot love God whom he has not seen.

4 Love is patient, love is kind. It is not jealous or boastful, it is not arrogant

5 or rude, it does not seek its own, it is not provoked, it keeps no record of wrongs,

6 it does not rejoice in evil, but rejoices with the truth.

7 Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

1 See what love the Father has given us, that we should be called children of God! And so we are! The reason why the world does not know us is that it did not know him.

34 A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another.

35 By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.«

8 But God demonstrates his own love for us, in that while we were still sinners Christ died for us.

9 In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent his only Son into the world, so that we might live through him.

10 In this is love, not that we loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the atoning sacrifice for our sins.

20 If anyone says, »I love God,« and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, cannot love God whom he has not seen.

3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments. And his commandments are not burdensome.
