12 But to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God

19 For the creation waits with eager expectation for the revealing of the sons of God.

1 At that time the disciples came to Jesus, saying, »Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?«

2 He called to him a little child, and put him in the midst of them,

3 and he said, »Truly, I say to you, unless you turn and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.

4 Therefore, whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

31 They said, »Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household.«

13 And they were bringing children to him, that he might touch them; but the disciples rebuked them.

14 But when Jesus saw it, he was indignant and said to them, »Let the little children come to me; and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God.

21 Little children, keep yourselves from idols.

4 He must manage his own household well, keeping his children under control with all dignity

25 At that time Jesus declared, »I thank you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that you have hidden these things from the wise and intelligent and have revealed them to babes.

20 Children, obey your parents in everything, for this pleases the Lord.

5 And have you forgotten the exhortation which addresses you as sons? »My son, do not regard lightly the discipline of the Lord, nor lose courage when you are rebuked by him.

6 For those whom the Lord loves he disciplines, and he scourges every son whom he receives.«

7 It is for discipline that you endure. God is treating you as sons; for what son is there whom his father does not discipline?

8 If you are left without discipline, in which all have become partakers, then you are illegitimate children and not sons.

9 Besides this, we have had fathers of our flesh to discipline us and we respected them. Shall we not much more be subject to the Father of spirits and live?

2 Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when he appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is.

3 And everyone who has this hope in him purifies himself, just as he is pure.

16 The Spirit himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God,

10 »See that you do not despise one of these little ones. For I tell you that in heaven their angels always see the face of my Father who is in heaven.

22 Now flee from youthful lusts, and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, along with those who call on the Lord from a pure heart.

52 And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men.

4 Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.

14 But Jesus said, »Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them; for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven.«

26 For you are all sons of God, through faith in Christ Jesus.

27 For all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ.

2 And the things you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses, entrust to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.

11 For the moment all discipline seems painful rather than pleasant; but later it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it.

4 I have no greater joy than this, to hear that my children are walking in the truth.

9 Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God.

21 Fathers, do not provoke your children, or they will become discouraged.

3 and he said, »Truly, I say to you, unless you turn and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.

4 Therefore, whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

5 Whoever receives one little child like this in my name receives me.

15 For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of sonship by whom we cry out, »Abba, Father.«

1 See what love the Father has given us, that we should be called children of God! And so we are! The reason why the world does not know us is that it did not know him.

12 I write to you, little children, because your sins are forgiven youfor his name's sake.

8 If any one does not provide for his relatives, and especially for his own family, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.

14 For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God.

1 Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right.

2 »Honor your father and mother« (which is the first commandment with a promise),

3 »that it may be well with you and that you may live long on the earth.«

1 Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children;

36 And he took a little child, and put him in the midst of them. And taking him in his arms, he said to them,

37 »Whoever receives one of these little children in my name receives me; and whoever receives me, receives not me but him who sent me.«

15 When they had finished breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, »Simon, son of John, do you love me more than these?« He said to him, »Yes, Lord; you know that I love you.« He said to him, »Feed my lambs.«
