And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, so that you, always having all sufficiency in everything, may have an abundance for every good work.
And if you do good to those who do good to you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners do the same.
Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, for when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him.
For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
His master said to him, Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your master.
And without faith it is impossible to please God, for anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.
We are witnesses of these things, and so is the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to those who obey him.«
»Thus, when you give alms, do not sound a trumpet before you, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may be praised by men. Truly, I say to you, they have received their reward.
I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.
If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him.
And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.
But the anointing which you have received from him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as his anointing teaches you about all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, abide in him.
Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.
Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give.
Let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we will reap if we do not grow weary.
But, as it is written, »No eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man conceivedwhat God has prepared for those who love him,«
He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all, how will he not also give us all things with him?
His divine power has granted to us everything pertaining to life and godliness, through the true knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and excellence.
»Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.
Whatever you do, do your work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men,
knowing that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.
For he »will render to each one according to his works«:
Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.
Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will exalt you.
but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. The water that I shall give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life.«
Until now you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled.
I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you may know what is the hope to which he has called you, what are the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints,
But when you pray, go into your room, shut the door and pray to your Father, who is in secret; and your Father, who sees in secret, will reward you.
Give, and it will be given to you; good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be put into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you.«
Therefore we do not lose heart. Though our outer nature is wasting away, yet our inner nature is being renewed day by day.
Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time.
But many who are first will be last, and the last first.
Nevertheless I tell you the truth: it is to your advantage that I go away. For if I do not go away, the Counselor will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you.
