3 Lo, children are a heritage of the LORD; the fruit of the womb is a reward.4 As arrows in the hand of a mighty man, so are the children of one's youth.5 Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them; they shall not be put to shame, when they speak with their enemies in the gate.

1 A Psalm of David. Bless the LORD, O my soul; and all that is within me, bless His holy name.2 Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits;

4 We will not hide from their children, telling to the generation to come the praises of the LORD, and His strength, and His wondrous works that He hath done.

6 Children's children are the crown of old men; and the glory of children are their fathers.

27 For this child I prayed; and the LORD hath granted me my petition which I asked of Him;

28 Ascribe unto the LORD, ye kindreds of the peoples, ascribe unto the LORD glory and strength.

14 And the women said unto Naomi: 'Blessed be the LORD, who hath not left thee this day without a near kinsman, and let his name be famous in Israel.15 And he shall be unto thee a restorer of life, and a nourisher of thine old age; for thy daughter-in-law, who loveth thee, who is better to thee than seven sons, hath borne him.'

19 The living, the living, he shall praise Thee, as I do this day; the father to the children shall make known Thy truth.
