O aniversário é momento de celebrar a vida que Deus nos deu. A Bíblia nos convida a agradecer por cada dia, contar nossos anos com sabedoria e alegrar-se na bondade do Senhor.
Agradecer pela vida
Este é o dia que o Senhor fez — alegremo-nos! Cada dia é presente de Deus, cada ano é prova da sua fidelidade.
24 This [is] the day Jehovah hath made, We rejoice and are glad in it.
1 Praise ye Jah, give thanks to Jehovah, For good, for to the age, [is] His kindness.
2 Bless, O my soul, Jehovah, And forget not all His benefits,
1 A Psalm. -- A Song for the sabbath-day. Good to give thanks to Jehovah, And to sing praises to Thy name, O Most High,2 To declare in the morning Thy kindness, And Thy faithfulness in the nights.
5 For -- a moment [is] in His anger, Life [is] in His good-will, At even remaineth weeping, and at morn singing.
2 beloved, concerning all things I desire thee to prosper, and to be in health, even as thy soul doth prosper,
A obra de Deus em nós
Tu me teceste no ventre de minha mãe — maravilhosas são as tuas obras! Cada vida é obra-prima do Criador.
13 For Thou -- Thou hast possessed my reins, Thou dost cover me in my mothers belly.14 I confess Thee, because that [with] wonders I have been distinguished. Wonderful [are] Thy works, And my soul is knowing [it] well.15 My substance was not hid from Thee, When I was made in secret, Curiously wrought in the lower part of earth.16 Mine unformed substance Thine eyes saw, And on Thy book all of them are written, The days they were formed -- And not one among them.17 And to me how precious have been Thy thoughts, O God, how great hath been their sum!

10 On Thee I have been cast from the womb, From the belly of my mother Thou [art] my God.
9 For thou [art] He bringing me forth from the womb, Causing me to trust, On the breasts of my mother.10 On Thee I have been cast from the womb, From the belly of my mother Thou [art] my God.
4 I give thanks to my God always concerning you for the grace of God that was given to you in Christ Jesus,
Oração de bênção
O Senhor te abençoe e te guarde. Tu és toda formosa e em ti não há defeito. Deus cuida de cada detalhe da tua vida.
24 Jehovah bless thee and keep thee;25 Jehovah cause His face to shine upon thee, and favour thee;26 Jehovah lift up His countenance upon thee, and appoint for thee -- peace.
7 Thou [art] all fair, my friend, And a blemish there is not in thee. Come from Lebanon, O spouse,
25 Strength and honour [are] her clothing, And she rejoiceth at a latter day.26 Her mouth she hath opened in wisdom, And the law of kindness [is] on her tongue.
30 The grace [is] false, and the beauty [is] vain, A woman fearing Jehovah, she may boast herself.
31 A crown of beauty [are] grey hairs, In the way of righteousness it is found.
3 I give thanks to my God upon all the remembrance of you,
Sabedoria e alegria
Ensina-nos a contar os nossos dias. Deus encheu nosso cálice de alegria e o seu caminho mostra-se vida em plenitude.
12 To number our days aright let [us] know, And we bring the heart to wisdom.
4 Cause me to know, O Jehovah, mine end, And the measure of my days -- what it [is], I know how frail I [am].5 Lo, handbreadths Thou hast made my days, And mine age [is] as nothing before Thee, Only, all vanity [is] every man set up. Selah.
11 Thou causest me to know the path of life; Fulness of joys [is] with Thy presence, Pleasant things by Thy right hand for ever!
7 Thou hast given joy in my heart, From the time their corn and their wine Have been multiplied.
4 One [thing] I asked of Jehovah -- it I seek. My dwelling in the house of Jehovah, All the days of my life, To look on the pleasantness of Jehovah, And to inquire in His temple.
6 Only -- goodness and kindness pursue me, All the days of my life, And my dwelling [is] in the house of Jehovah, For a length of days!
1 By David. Blessed [is] Jehovah my rock, who is teaching My hands for war, my fingers for battle.2 My kind one, and my bulwark, My tower, and my deliverer, My shield, and in whom I have trusted, Who is subduing my people under me!
6 Now I have known That Jehovah hath saved His anointed, He answereth him from His holy heavens, With the saving might of His right hand.7 Some of chariots, and some of horses, And we of the name of Jehovah our God Make mention.8 They -- they have bowed and have fallen, And we have risen and station ourselves upright.
3 I, Jehovah, am its keeper, every moment I water it, Lest any lay a charge against it, Night and day I keep it!
Proteção e fidelidade
O Senhor pelejará por vós. Fiel é o Senhor que vos guarda — Ele te protege de todo mal o tempo todo.
4 for Jehovah your God [is] He who is going with you, to fight for you with your enemies -- to save you.
3 and stedfast is the Lord, who shall establish you, and shall guard [you] from the evil;
14 and to God [are] thanks, who at all times is leading us in triumph in the Christ, and the fragrance of His knowledge He is manifesting through us in every place,
7 the good strife I have striven, the course I have finished, the faith I have kept,
45 and happy [is] she who did believe, for there shall be a completion to the things spoken to her from the Lord.
