2 in the house of my Father are many mansions; and if not, I would have told you; I go on to prepare a place for you;
1 To the Overseer. -- A Psalm of David. The heavens [are] recounting the honour of God, And the work of His hands The expanse [is] declaring.2 Day to day uttereth speech, And night to night sheweth knowledge.
5 Be Thou exalted above the heavens, O God, And above all the earth Thy honour.
8 Our help [is] in the name of Jehovah, Maker of the heavens and earth!
25 Whom have I in the heavens? And with Thee none I have desired in earth.
1 In the beginning of Gods preparing the heavens and the earth --2 the earth hath existed waste and void, and darkness [is] on the face of the deep, and the Spirit of God fluttering on the face of the waters,
6 Who is building in the heavens His upper chambers; As to His troop, Upon earth He hath founded it, Who is calling for the waters of the sea, And poureth them out on the face of the land, Jehovah [is] His name.
24 Is any one hidden in secret places, And I see him not? an affirmation of Jehovah, Do not I fill the heavens and the earth? An affirmation of Jehovah.
17 Ah, Lord Jehovah, lo, Thou hast made the heavens and the earth by Thy great power, and by Thy stretched-out arm; there is nothing too wonderful for Thee:
Cidadania celestial
A nossa cidadania está nos céus. Ajuntai tesouros no céu, não na terra. O céu é a pátria do cristão.
20 For our citizenship is in the heavens, whence also a Saviour we await -- the Lord Jesus Christ --
19 Treasure not up to yourselves treasures on the earth, where moth and rust disfigure, and where thieves break through and steal,20 but treasure up to yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth disfigure, and where thieves do not break through nor steal,
14 But Jesus said, Suffer the children, and forbid them not, to come unto me, for of such is the reign of the heavens;
21 Jesus said to him, If thou dost will to be perfect, go away, sell what thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven, and come, follow me.
35 The heaven and the earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
2 the things above mind ye, not the things upon the earth,
Esperança eterna
Seremos arrebatados para encontrar o Senhor nos ares. Ainda não se manifestou o que havemos de ser — mas seremos semelhantes a Ele.
16 because the Lord himself, in a shout, in the voice of a chief-messenger, and in the trump of God, shall come down from heaven, and the dead in Christ shall rise first,17 then we who are living, who are remaining over, together with them shall be caught away in clouds to meet the Lord in air, and so always with the Lord we shall be;
2 beloved, now, children of God are we, and it was not yet manifested what we shall be, and we have known that if he may be manifested, like him we shall be, because we shall see him as he is;3 and every one who is having this hope on him, doth purify himself, even as he is pure.
18 and the Lord shall free me from every evil work, and shall save [me] -- to his heavenly kingdom; to whom [is] the glory to the ages of the ages! Amen.
50 And he led them forth without -- unto Bethany, and having lifted up his hands he did bless them,51 and it came to pass, in his blessing them, he was parted from them, and was borne up to the heaven;
9 And these things having said -- they beholding -- he was taken up, and a cloud did receive him up from their sight;
12 because we have not the wrestling with blood and flesh, but with the principalities, with the authorities, with the world-rulers of the darkness of this age, with the spiritual things of the evil in the heavenly places;
7 for nothing did we bring into the world -- [it is] manifest that we are able to carry nothing out;8 but having food and raiment -- with these we shall suffice ourselves;
9 For high have the heavens been above the earth, So high have been My ways above your ways, And My thoughts above your thoughts.
1 To everything -- a season, and a time to every delight under the heavens:
15 As he came out from the belly of his mother, naked he turneth back to go as he came, and he taketh not away anything of his labour, that doth go in his hand.
