Confiar de todo coração
Confia no Senhor de todo o coração. Não te apoies em teu próprio entendimento — em todos os caminhos o reconheça.
5 Trust in the LORD with all thy heart, and lean not upon thine own understanding.6 In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct thy paths.
1 O thou that dwellest in the covert of the Most High, and abidest in the shadow of the Almighty;2 I will say of the LORD, who is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust,3 That He will deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.4 He will cover thee with His pinions, and under His wings shalt thou take refuge; His truth is a shield and a buckler.
1 A Song of Ascents. They that trust in the LORD are as mount Zion, which cannot be moved, but abideth for ever.2 As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the LORD is round about His people, from this time forth and for ever.
7 He shall not be afraid of evil tidings; his heart is stedfast, trusting in the LORD.
3 Trust in the LORD, and do good; dwell in the land, and cherish faithfulness.4 So shalt thou delight thyself in the LORD; and He shall give thee the petitions of thy heart.5 Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in Him, and He will bring it to pass.6 And He will make thy righteousness to go forth as the light, and thy right as the noonday.
10 And they that know Thy name will put their trust in Thee; for thou, LORD, hast not forsaken them that seek Thee.
Segurança em Deus
Bem-aventurado o homem que confia no Senhor. Ele é como árvore plantada junto às águas — não temerá quando vier o calor.
7 Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose trust the LORD is.8 For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out its roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but its foliage shall be luxuriant; and shall not be anxious in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.
4 Trust ye in the LORD for ever, for the LORD is GOD, an everlasting Rock.
2 Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and will not be afraid; for GOD the LORD is my strength and song; and He is become my salvation.'
12 O LORD of hosts, happy is the man that trusteth in Thee.
7 Some trust in chariots, and some in horses; but we will make mention of the name of the LORD our God.8 They are bowed down and fallen; but we are risen, and stand upright.
8 It is better to take refuge in the LORD than to trust in man.9 It is better to take refuge in the LORD than to trust in princes.
Não confiar no homem
Não temas — em ti confiarei. Melhor é confiar no Senhor do que confiar no homem ou nos príncipes.
10 In God--I will praise His word--in the LORD--I will praise His word--11 In God do I trust, I will not be afraid; what can man do unto me?
5 But as for me, in Thy mercy do I trust; my heart shall rejoice in Thy salvation.
14 But as for me, I have trusted in Thee, O LORD; I have said: 'Thou art my God.'
4 Happy is the man that hath made the LORD his trust, and hath not turned unto the arrogant, nor unto such as fall away treacherously.
