1 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.2 Therefore will we not fear, though the earth do change, and though the mountains be moved into the heart of the seas;3 Though the waters thereof roar and foam, though the mountains shake at the swelling thereof. Selah

2 I will say of the LORD, who is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust,

8 Trust in Him at all times, ye people; pour out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us. Selah

9 The LORD also will be a high tower for the oppressed, a high tower in times of trouble;10 And they that know Thy name will put their trust in Thee; for thou, LORD, hast not forsaken them that seek Thee.

9 Thou rulest the proud swelling of the sea; when the waves thereof arise, Thou stillest them.

4 Above the voices of many waters, the mighty breakers of the sea, the LORD on high is mighty.

29 He made the storm a calm, so that the waves thereof were still.

16 The jar of meal was not spent, neither did the cruse of oil fail, according to the word of the LORD, which He spoke by Elijah.

39 He spread a cloud for a screen; and fire to give light in the night.40 They asked, and He brought quails, and gave them in plenty the bread of heaven.41 He opened the rock, and waters gushed out; they ran, a river in the dry places.

25 I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.

18 The LORD knoweth the days of them that are wholehearted; and their inheritance shall be for ever.19 They shall not be ashamed in the time of evil; and in the days of famine they shall be satisfied.

3 For I will pour water upon the thirsty land, and streams upon the dry ground; I will pour My spirit upon thy seed, and My blessing upon thine offspring;

4 For Thou hast been a stronghold to the poor, a stronghold to the needy in his distress, a refuge from the storm, a shadow from the heat; for the blast of the terrible ones was as a storm against the wall.

6 And there shall be a pavilion for a shadow in the day-time from the heat, and for a refuge and for a covert from storm and from rain.

2 When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee, and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee; when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned, neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.

7 The LORD is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; and He knoweth them that take refuge in Him.

8 He bindeth up the waters in His thick clouds; and the cloud is not rent under them.9 He closeth in the face of His throne, and spreadeth His cloud upon it.10 He hath described a boundary upon the face of the waters, unto the confines of light and darkness.

21 Thou shalt be hid from the scourge of the tongue; neither shalt thou be afraid of destruction when it cometh.
