Honestidade
A honestidade é virtude cristã fundamental. Deus é Deus de verdade e nos chama a viver com integridade, transparência e retidão em todos os nossos relacionamentos e negócios.
Integridade diante de Deus
O Senhor abomina a balança falsa, mas o peso justo é seu prazer. A integridade dos justos os guia pelos caminhos retos.
1 Balances of deceit [are] an abomination to Jehovah, And a perfect weight [is] His delight.3 The integrity of the upright leadeth them, And the perverseness of the treacherous destroyeth them.

21 providing right things, not only before the Lord, but also before men;
Praticar a honestidade
Falai a verdade, pagai o que deveis, não negueis ao próximo o bem. A honestidade prática é testemunho do evangelho.
9 Lie not one to another, having put off the old man with his practices,
7 render, therefore, to all [their] dues; to whom tribute, the tribute; to whom custom, the custom; to whom fear, the fear; to whom honour, the honour.
6 for because of this also pay ye tribute; for servants of God they are, on this very thing attending continually;
17 giving back to no one evil for evil; providing right things before all men.
27 Withhold not good from its owners, When thy hand [is] toward God to do [it].
8 Better [is] a little with righteousness, Than abundance of increase without justice.
2 Treasures of wickedness profit not, And righteousness delivereth from death.
Confissão e transparência
Confessai as vossas ofensas uns aos outros. Quem confessa e deixa o pecado encontra misericórdia e restauração.
13 Whoso is covering his transgressions prospereth not, And he who is confessing and forsaking hath mercy.
16 Be confessing to one another the trespasses, and be praying for one another, that ye may be healed; very strong is a working supplication of a righteous man;
12 And before all things, my brethren, do not swear, neither by the heaven, neither by the earth, neither by any other oath, and let your Yes be Yes, and the No, No; that under judgment ye may not fall.
17 and the wisdom from above, first, indeed, is pure, then peaceable, gentle, easily entreated, full of kindness and good fruits, uncontentious, and unhypocritical: --
6 if we may say -- we have fellowship with Him, and in the darkness may walk -- we lie, and do not the truth;
18 My little children, may we not love in word nor in tongue, but in word and in truth!
Coração puro
Bem-aventurados os puros de coração, porque verão a Deus. A honestidade começa no interior e se manifesta nas ações.
8 Happy the clean in heart -- because they shall see God.
7 Be silent for Jehovah, and stay thyself for Him, Do not fret because of him Who is making prosperous his way, Because of a man doing wicked devices.
5 Good [is] the man -- gracious and lending, He sustaineth his matters in judgment.
15 be diligent to present thyself approved to God -- a workman irreproachable, rightly dividing the word of the truth;
16 And no one having lighted a lamp doth cover it with a vessel, or under a couch doth put [it]; but upon a lamp-stand he doth put [it], that those coming in may see the light,
13 In transgression of the lips [is] the snare of the wicked, And the righteous goeth out from distress.17 Whoso uttereth faithfulness declareth righteousness, And a false witness -- deceit.
28 A froward man sendeth forth contention, A tale-bearer is separating a familiar friend.
