Ser imitador de Cristo é o chamado supremo do cristão. Paulo exortou: 'Sede meus imitadores, como eu sou de Cristo.' Fomos criados à imagem de Deus para refletir seu caráter.
Imitar a Cristo
Sede imitadores de Deus como filhos amados. Cristo se esvaziou e se humilhou — esse é o padrão que devemos seguir.
1 Follow God's example, therefore, as dearly loved children
5 In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus:6 Who, being in very nature "God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage;7 rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature "of a servant, being made in human likeness.8 And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death — even death on a cross!
1 Follow my example, as I follow the example of Christ.
6 You became imitators of us and of the Lord, for you welcomed the message in the midst of severe suffering with the joy given by the Holy Spirit.
