8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth, but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein; for then thou shalt make thy ways prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

105 NUN. Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

130 The opening of Thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple.

97 MEM. O how love I Thy law! It is my meditation all the day.98 Thy commandments make me wiser than mine enemies: for they are ever with me.99 I have more understanding than all my teachers; for Thy testimonies are my meditation.

9 BETH. Wherewithal shall a young man keep his way pure? By taking heed thereto according to Thy word.10 With my whole heart have I sought Thee; O let me not err from Thy commandments.11 Thy word have I laid up in my heart, that I might not sin against Thee.

10 For Ezra had set his heart to seek the law of the LORD, and to do it, and to teach in Israel statutes and ordinances.

8 And they read in the book, in the Law of God, distinctly; and they gave the sense, and caused them to understand the reading.

6 And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be upon thy heart;7 and thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thy house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.8 And thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thy hand, and they shall be for frontlets between thine eyes.

1 My son, if thou wilt receive my words, and lay up my commandments with thee;2 So that thou make thine ear attend unto wisdom, and thy heart incline to discernment;3 Yea, if thou call for understanding, and lift up thy voice for discernment;4 If thou seek her as silver, and search for her as for hid treasures;5 Then shalt thou understand the fear of the LORD, and find the knowledge of God.6 For the LORD giveth wisdom, out of His mouth cometh knowledge and discernment;
