Em Cristo somos nova criação. O velho se foi, tudo se fez novo. A transformação não é reforma — é renascimento completo pelo poder do Espírito Santo.
Novas criaturas em Cristo
Se alguém está em Cristo, nova criação é. As coisas velhas passaram e eis que tudo se fez novo. A transformação é radical e total.
Despir o velho e vestir o novo
Somos chamados a despir o velho homem e vestir o novo, criado segundo Deus em justiça e santidade provenientes da verdade.
Coração e Espírito novos
Deus promete dar um coração novo e um espírito novo. Pelo novo nascimento somos feitos participantes da natureza divina.
19 And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will remove the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them a heart of flesh;20 that they may walk in My statutes, and keep Mine ordinances, and do them; and they shall be My people, and I will be their God.
