Ouvir a voz de Deus é o privilégio supremo do cristão. Ele fala por sua Palavra, pelo Espírito e em circunstâncias — e as ovelhas reconhecem a voz do bom Pastor.
As ovelhas ouvem a voz do Pastor
Jesus disse: minhas ovelhas ouvem minha voz, eu as conheço e elas me seguem. A relação com Deus é íntima e pessoal.
27 according as I said to you: My sheep my voice do hear, and I know them, and they follow me,
45 it is having been written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God; every one therefore who heard from the Father, and learned, cometh to me;
47 he who is of God, the sayings of God he doth hear; because of this ye do not hear, because of God ye are not.
24 Verily, verily, I say to you -- He who is hearing my word, and is believing Him who sent me, hath life age-during, and to judgment he doth not come, but hath passed out of the death to the life.25 Verily, verily, I say to you -- There cometh an hour, and it now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God, and those having heard shall live;

14 And the Word became flesh, and did tabernacle among us, and we beheld his glory, glory as of an only begotten of a father, full of grace and truth.

Toda Escritura é inspirada por Deus. A Bíblia é a voz confiável de Deus registrada para nos guiar em toda verdade.
16 every Writing [is] God-breathed, and profitable for teaching, for conviction, for setting aright, for instruction that [is] in righteousness,17 that the man of God may be fitted -- for every good work having been completed.
20 this first knowing, that no prophecy of the Writing doth come of private exposition,21 for not by will of man did ever prophecy come, but by the Holy Spirit borne on holy men of God spake.
17 so then the faith [is] by a report, and the report through a saying of God,
24 Therefore, every one who doth hear of me these words, and doth do them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house upon the rock;25 and the rain did descend, and the streams came, and the winds blew, and they beat on that house, and it fell not, for it had been founded on the rock.
28 And he said, Yea, rather, happy those hearing the word of God, and keeping [it]!

3 Call unto Me, and I do answer thee, yea, I declare to thee great and fenced things -- thou hast not known them.
21 And thine ear heareth a word behind thee, Saying, This [is] the way, go ye in it, When ye turn to the right, And when ye turn to the left.
24 and say, Lo, Jehovah our God hath shewed us His honour, and His greatness; and His voice we have heard out of the midst of the fire; this day we have seen that God doth speak with man -- and he hath lived.
3 The voice of Jehovah [is] on the waters, The God of glory hath thundered, Jehovah [is] on many waters.4 The voice of Jehovah [is] with power, The voice of Jehovah [is] with majesty,5 The voice of Jehovah [is] shivering cedars, Yea, Jehovah shivers the cedars of Lebanon.
4 My voice [is] unto Jehovah: I call: And He answereth me from his holy hill, Selah.
