3 Blessed [is] God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of the mercies, and God of all comfort,4 who is comforting us in all our tribulation, for our being able to comfort those in any tribulation through the comfort with which we are comforted ourselves by God;

24 For He hath not despised, nor abominated, The affliction of the afflicted, Nor hath He hidden His face from him, And in his crying unto Him He heareth.

18 Near [is] Jehovah to the broken of heart, And the bruised of spirit He saveth.

3 Who is giving healing to the broken of heart, And is binding up their griefs.

5 For -- a moment [is] in His anger, Life [is] in His good-will, At even remaineth weeping, and at morn singing.

22 Cast on Jehovah that which He hath given thee, And He doth sustain thee, He doth not suffer for ever the moving of the righteous.

8 My wandering Thou hast counted, Thou -- place Thou my tear in Thy bottle, Are they not in Thy book?

9 And Jehovah is a tower for the bruised, A tower for times of adversity.

4 Happy the mourning -- because they shall be comforted.

33 these things I have spoken to you, that in me ye may have peace, in the world ye shall have tribulation, but take courage -- I have overcome the world.

22 And ye, therefore, now, indeed, have sorrow; and again I will see you, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no one doth take from you,

6 for nothing be anxious, but in everything by prayer, and by supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known unto God;

7 and the peace of God, that is surpassing all understanding, shall guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.

3 and I heard a great voice out of the heaven, saying, Lo, the tabernacle of God [is] with men, and He will tabernacle with them, and they shall be His peoples, and God Himself shall be with them -- their God,4 and God shall wipe away every tear from their eyes, and the death shall not be any more, nor sorrow, nor crying, nor shall there be any more pain, because the first things did go away.

5 And He who is sitting upon the throne said, Lo, new I make all things; and He saith to me, Write, because these words are true and stedfast;

13 and the God of the hope shall fill you with all joy and peace in the believing, for your abounding in the hope in power of the Holy Spirit.

2 and be not conformed to this age, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, for your proving what [is] the will of God -- the good, and acceptable, and perfect.

10 Be not afraid, for with thee I [am], Look not around, for I [am] thy God, I have strengthened thee, Yea, I have helped thee, yea, I upheld thee, With the right hand of My righteousness.

1 The Spirit of the Lord Jehovah [is] on me, Because Jehovah did anoint me To proclaim tidings to the humble, He sent me to bind the broken of heart, To proclaim to captives liberty, And to bound ones an opening of bands.2 To proclaim the year of the good pleasure of Jehovah, And the day of vengeance of our God, To comfort all mourners.3 To appoint to mourners in Zion, To give to them beauty instead of ashes, The oil of joy instead of mourning, A covering of praise for a spirit of weakness, And He is calling to them, Trees of righteousness, The planting of Jehovah -- to be beautified.

13 As one whom his mother comforteth, so do I comfort you, Yea, in Jerusalem ye are comforted.

8 and Jehovah [is] He who is going before thee, He himself is with thee; He doth not fail thee nor forsake thee; fear not, nor be affrighted.

5 Without covetousness the behaviour, being content with the things present, for He hath said, No, I will not leave, no, nor forsake thee,

7 Good [is] Jehovah for a strong place in a day of distress. And He knoweth those trusting in Him.

17 Jehovah thy God [is] in thy midst, A mighty one doth save, He rejoiceth over thee with joy, He doth work in His love, He joyeth over thee with singing.

11 For I have known the thoughts that I am thinking towards you -- an affirmation of Jehovah; thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give to you posterity and hope.

17 so that if any one [is] in Christ -- [he is] a new creature; the old things did pass away, lo, become new have the all things.

19 so that also those suffering according to the will of god, as to a stedfast Creator, let them commit their own souls in good doing.

6 be humbled, then, under the powerful hand of God, that you He may exalt in good time,7 all your care having cast upon Him, because He careth for you.

4 Also -- when I walk in a valley of death-shade, I fear no evil, for Thou [art] with me, Thy rod and Thy staff -- they comfort me.

4 One [thing] I asked of Jehovah -- it I seek. My dwelling in the house of Jehovah, All the days of my life, To look on the pleasantness of Jehovah, And to inquire in His temple.5 For He hideth me in a tabernacle in the day of evil, He hideth me in a secret place of His tent, On a rock he raiseth me up.

50 This [is] my comfort in mine affliction, That Thy saying hath quickened me.

11 To set the low on a high place, And the mourners have been high [in] safety.

29 And Jesus answering said, Verily I say to you, there is no one who left house, or brothers, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or fields, for my sake, and for the good news,30 who may not receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brothers, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and fields, with persecutions, and in the age that is coming, life age-during;

16 and I will ask the Father, and another Comforter He will give to you, that he may remain with you -- to the age;17 the Spirit of truth, whom the world is not able to receive, because it doth not behold him, nor know him, and ye know him, because he doth remain with you, and shall be in you.18 I will not leave you bereaved, I come unto you;
