14 Thou shalt be blessed above all peoples; there shall not be male or female barren among you, or among your cattle.

7 And the children of Israel were fruitful, and increased abundantly, and multiplied, and waxed exceeding mighty; and the land was filled with them.

2 His seed shall be mighty upon earth; the generation of the upright shall be blessed.

13 For Thou hast made my reins; Thou hast knit me together in my mother's womb.14 I will give thanks unto Thee, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; wonderful are Thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.15 My frame was not hidden from Thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.16 Thine eyes did see mine unformed substance, and in Thy book they were all written--even the days that were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them.

3 Lo, children are a heritage of the LORD; the fruit of the womb is a reward.

9 Shall I bring to the birth, and not cause to bring forth? saith the LORD; Shall I that cause to bring forth shut the womb? saith thy God.

2 Incline Thine ear unto me, deliver me speedily; be Thou to me a rock of refuge, even a fortress of defence, to save me.

2 From the end of the earth will I call unto Thee, when my heart fainteth; lead me to a rock that is too high for me.

11 Even as a shepherd that feedeth his flock, that gathereth the lambs in his arm, and carrieth them in his bosom, and gently leadeth those that give suck.

3 Hearken unto Me, O house of Jacob, and all the remnant of the house of Israel, that are borne by Me from the birth, that are carried from the womb:4 Even to old age I am the same, and even to hoar hairs will I carry you; I have made, and I will bear; yea, I will carry, and will deliver.

28 Her children rise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her:

1 And the man knew Eve his wife; and she conceived and bore Cain, and said: 'I have gotten a man with the help of the LORD.'

1 And the LORD remembered Sarah as He had said, and the LORD did unto Sarah as He had spoken.2 And Sarah conceived, and bore Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time of which God had spoken to him.

21 And Isaac entreated the LORD for his wife, because she was barren; and the LORD let Himself be entreated of him, and Rebekah his wife conceived.

20 And it came to pass, when the time was come about, that Hannah conceived, and bore a son; and she called his name Samuel: 'because I have asked him of the LORD.'

1 O thou that dwellest in the covert of the Most High, and abidest in the shadow of the Almighty;2 I will say of the LORD, who is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust,

7 The LORD shall keep thee from all evil; He shall keep thy soul.8 The LORD shall guard thy going out and thy coming in, from this time forth and for ever.

5 Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee, and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee; I have appointed thee a prophet unto the nations.

22 And if men strive together, and hurt a woman with child, so that her fruit depart, and yet no harm follow, he shall be surely fined, according as the woman's husband shall lay upon him; and he shall pay as the judges determine.23 But if any harm follow, then thou shalt give life for life,

15 Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? Yea, these may forget, yet will not I forget thee.

9 Who maketh the barren woman to dwell in her house as a joyful mother of children. Hallelujah.

16 And I will bless her, and moreover I will give thee a son of her; yea, I will bless her, and she shall be a mother of nations; kings of peoples shall be of her.'

3 Thy wife shall be as a fruitful vine, in the innermost parts of thy house; thy children like olive plants, round about thy table.
