1 After these things I heard as it were a great voice of a great multitude in heaven, saying,

Hallelujah; Salvation, and glory, and power, belong to our God: 2 for true and righteous are his judgments; for he hath judged the great harlot, her that corrupted the earth with her fornication, and he hath avenged the blood of his servants at her hand.

3 And a second time they say, Hallelujah. And her smoke goeth up for ever and ever. 4 And the four and twenty elders and the four living creatures fell down and worshipped God that sitteth on the throne, saying, Amen; Hallelujah. 5 And a voice came forth from the throne, saying,

Give praise to our God, all ye his servants, ye that fear him, the small and the great.

6 And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunders, saying,

Hallelujah: for the Lord our God, the Almighty, reigneth. 7 Let us rejoice and be exceeding glad, and let us give the glory unto him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready. 8 And it was given unto her that she should array herself in fine linen, bright and pure: for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints.

9 And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they that are bidden to the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are true words of God. 10 And I fell down before his feet to worship him. And he saith unto me, See thou do it not: I am a fellow-servant with thee and with thy brethren that hold the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.

11 And I saw the heaven opened; and behold, a white horse, and he that sat thereon called Faithful and True; and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. 12 And his eyes are a flame of fire, and upon his head are many diadems; and he hath a name written which no one knoweth but he himself. 13 And he is arrayed in a garment sprinkled with blood: and his name is called The Word of God. 14 And the armies which are in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and pure. 15 And out of his mouth proceedeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness of the wrath of God, the Almighty. 16 And he hath on his garment and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.

17 And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the birds that fly in mid heaven, Come and be gathered together unto the great supper of God; 18 that ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses and of them that sit thereon, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, and small and great.

19 And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat upon the horse, and against his army. 20 And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought the signs in his sight, wherewith he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast and them that worshipped his image: they two were cast alive into the lake of fire that burneth with brimstone: 21 and the rest were killed with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, even the sword which came forth out of his mouth: and all the birds were filled with their flesh.

Cap. 14:11; 18:9,18. ei se ridică în sus în vecii vecilor!" 4 Și cei*Cap. 4:4,6,10;5:14. douăzeci și patru de bătrâni și cele patru făpturi vii s-au aruncat la pământ și s-au închinat lui Dumnezeu, care ședea pe scaunul de domnie. Și au zis: „Amin!*1 Cron. 16:36.Neem. 5:13;8:6. Cap. 5:14. Aleluia!" 5 Și din scaunul de domnie a ieșit un glas care zicea: „Lăudați*Ps. 134:1;135:1. pe Dumnezeul nostru, toți robii Lui, voi, care vă temeți de El, mici și*Cap. 11:18;20:12. mari!" 6 Și*Ezec. 1:24;43:2. Cap. 14:2. am auzit ca un glas de gloată multă, ca vuietul unor ape multe, ca bubuitul unor tunete puternice, care zicea: „Aleluia! Domnul*Cap. 11:15,17;12:10;21:22. Dumnezeul nostru cel Atotputernic a început să împărățească. 7 Să ne bucurăm, să ne veselim și să-I dăm slavă! Căci a*Mat. 22:2;25:10.2 Cor. 11:2.Efes. 5:32. Cap. 21:2,9. venit nunta Mielului; soția Lui s-a pregătit 8 și i s-a dat*Ps. 45:13,14.Ezec. 16:10. Cap. 3:18. să se îmbrace cu in subțire, strălucitor și curat." (Inul*Ps. 132:9. subțire sunt faptele neprihănite ale sfinților.) 9 Apoi mi-a zis: „Scrie: Ferice*Mat. 22:2,3.Luca 14:15,16. de cei chemați la ospățul nunții Mielului!" Apoi mi-a zis: „Acestea*Cap. 21:5;22:6. sunt adevăratele cuvinte ale lui Dumnezeu!" 10 Și m-am*Cap. 22:8. aruncat la picioarele lui ca să mă închin lui, dar el mi-a zis: „Ferește-te*Fapte 10:26;14:14,15. Cap. 22:9. să faci una ca aceasta! Eu sunt un împreună-slujitor cu tine și cu frații tăi, care*1 Ioan 5:10. Cap. 12:17. păstrează mărturia lui Isus. Lui Dumnezeu închină-te!" (Căci mărturia lui Isus este duhul prorociei.) 11 Apoi*Cap. 15:5. am văzut cerul deschis și iată că s-a arătat un*Cap. 6:2. cal alb! Cel ce sta pe el se cheamă „Cel credincios"*Cap. 3:14. și „Cel adevărat" și El judecă*Is. 11:4. și Se luptă cu dreptate. 12 Ochii*Cap. 1:14;2:18. Lui erau ca para focului; capul*Cap. 6:2. îl avea încununat cu multe cununi împărătești și*Cap. 2:17. Vers. 16. purta un nume scris pe care nimeni nu-l știe decât numai El singur. 13 Era*Is. 63:2,3. îmbrăcat cu o haină înmuiată în sânge. Numele Lui este: „Cuvântul*Ioan 1:1.1 Ioan 5:7. lui Dumnezeu". 14 Oștile*Cap. 14:20. din cer Îl urmau călare pe cai albi, îmbrăcate*Mat. 28:3. Cap. 4:4;7:9. cu in subțire, alb și curat. 15 Din gura*Is. 11:4.2 Tes. 2:8. Cap. 1:16. Vers. 21. Lui ieșea o sabie ascuțită, ca să lovească neamurile cu ea, pe care*Ps. 2:9. Cap. 2:27;12:5. le va cârmui cu un toiag de fier. Și*Is. 63:3. Cap. 14:19,20. va călca cu picioarele teascul vinului mâniei aprinse a atotputernicului Dumnezeu. 16 Pe haină și pe coapsă avea*Vers. 12. scris numele acesta: „Împăratul*Dan. 2:47.1 Tim. 6:15. Cap. 17:14. împăraților și Domnul domnilor". 17 Apoi am văzut un înger care stătea în picioare în soare. El a strigat cu glas tare și a zis tuturor*Vers. 21. păsărilor care zburau prin mijlocul cerului: „Veniți*Ezec. 39:17., adunați-vă la ospățul cel mare al lui Dumnezeu, 18 ca*Ezec. 39:18,20. să mâncați carnea împăraților, carnea căpitanilor, carnea celor viteji, carnea cailor și a călăreților și carnea a tot felul de oameni, slobozi și robi, mici și mari!" 19 Și*Cap. 16:16;17:13,14. am văzut fiara și pe împărații pământului și oștile lor, adunate ca să facă război cu Cel ce ședea călare pe cal și cu oastea Lui. 20 Și*Cap. 16:13,14. fiara a fost prinsă. Și, împreună cu ea, a fost prins prorocul mincinos, care făcuse înaintea ei semnele cu care amăgise pe cei ce primiseră semnul fiarei și*Cap. 13:12,15. se închinaseră icoanei ei. Amândoi aceștia*Dan. 7:11. Cap. 20:10. au fost aruncați de vii în iazul de foc, care*Cap. 14:10;21:8. arde cu pucioasă. 21 Iar ceilalți au fost uciși*Vers. 15. cu sabia care ieșea din gura Celui ce ședea călare pe cal. Și toate*Vers. 17,18. păsările s-au săturat din carnea*Cap. 17:16. lor.
