14 So the Lord relented 32:14 2Sm 24:16; Ps 106:45 concerning the disaster he had said he would bring on his people.
15 Then Moses turned and went down the mountain with the two tablets of the testimony in his hands. They were inscribed on both sides — inscribed front and back. 16 The tablets were the work of God, and the writing was God’s writing, engraved on the tablets. 32:15–16 Ex 31:18; Dt 9:15
14 And the LORD repented of the evil which he thought to do unto his people.
15 And Moses turned, and went down from the mount, and the two tables of the testimony were in his hand: the tables were written on both their sides; on the one side and on the other were they written. 16 And the tables were the work of God, and the writing was the writing of God, graven upon the tables.

14 And God did think twice. He decided not to do the evil he had threatened against his people.
15,16 Moses turned around and came down from the mountain, carrying the two tablets of The Testimony. The tablets were written on both sides, front and back. God made the tablets and God wrote the tablets—engraved them.
