14 So the Lord relented of the harm which He said He would do to His people.
15 Then Moses turned and went down from the mountain with the two tablets of the testimony in his hand, tablets which were written on both 32:15 Lit their sidessides; they were written on one side and the other. 16 The tablets were God’s work, and the writing was God’s writing engraved on the tablets.

14 And the Lord was appeased from doing the evil which he had spoken against his people. 15 And Moses returned from the mount, carrying the two tables of the testimony in his hand, written on both sides, 16 And made by the work of God: the writing also of God was graven in the tables.
14 And God did think twice. He decided not to do the evil he had threatened against his people.
15,16 Moses turned around and came down from the mountain, carrying the two tablets of The Testimony. The tablets were written on both sides, front and back. God made the tablets and God wrote the tablets—engraved them.
