14 So the Lord changed his mind about the terrible disaster he had threatened to bring on his people.
15 Then Moses turned and went down the mountain. He held in his hands the two stone tablets inscribed with the terms of the covenant.32:15 Hebrew the two tablets of the Testimony; see note on 25:16. They were inscribed on both sides, front and back. 16 These tablets were God’s work; the words on them were written by God himself.
14 And the LORD repented of the evil which he thought to do unto his people.
15 And Moses turned, and went down from the mount, and the two tables of the testimony were in his hand: the tables were written on both their sides; on the one side and on the other were they written. 16 And the tables were the work of God, and the writing was the writing of God, graven upon the tables.

14 And the Lord was appeased from doing the evil which he had spoken against his people. 15 And Moses returned from the mount, carrying the two tables of the testimony in his hand, written on both sides, 16 And made by the work of God: the writing also of God was graven in the tables.
14 And God did think twice. He decided not to do the evil he had threatened against his people.
15,16 Moses turned around and came down from the mountain, carrying the two tablets of The Testimony. The tablets were written on both sides, front and back. God made the tablets and God wrote the tablets—engraved them.
