1 第三十年四月五日， 我正在迦巴鲁河边的时候， 天开了， 我就看见 神的异象； 那时， 我是在被掳的人中间。
2 （当天是约雅斤王被掳后第五年四月五日。
3 在迦勒底人的地方， 迦巴鲁河边， 耶和华的话确实临到布西的儿子以西结祭司。耶和华的手在那里临到他身上。）
4 我观望， 看见有狂风从北方刮来， 并有一块闪耀着火焰的很大的云， 云的周围有光芒， 在云中的火焰里， 好像有发光的金属。
5 在火中又有四个活物的形状， 它们的样子是这样： 它们都有人的形状。
6 它们各有四个脸孔、四个翅膀。
7 它们的腿是直的， 脚掌像牛犊的蹄， 都很灿烂， 像擦亮了的铜。
8 在它们四边的翅膀下都有人的手。它们四个活物的脸孔和翅膀是这样的：
9 它们的翅膀互相接触， 走动的时候， 不必转身， 都是朝着脸孔的方向行走。
10 至于它们脸孔的形状， 四个活物都各有一个人的脸孔， 在右边各有一个狮子的脸孔， 在左边各有一个牛的脸孔， 此外各有一个鹰的脸孔；
11 它们的脸孔就是这样。它们向上展开翅膀， 各自用两个翅膀互相接触， 用两个翅膀遮蔽身体。
12 它们都是朝着脸孔的方向行走。灵往哪里去， 它们就往哪里去。它们走动的时候， 都不必转身。
13 至于四个活物的形状， 样子像烧着的火炭， 又像火把。火在四活物中间到处闪耀。这火很明亮， 有闪电从火中发出。
14 四个活物往来奔走， 好像闪电。
15 我观看那些活物的时候， 看见四个活物的旁边都有一个触地的轮子。
16 四个轮子的样子与构造都是一个形状， 它们好像闪耀的水苍玉， 又好像轮子套着轮子。
17 轮子可以向四方移动， 移动的时候， 不必转向。
18 轮辋很高， 十分可畏， 四个轮辋都布满了眼睛。
19 活物走动的时候， 它们旁边的轮子也随着移动。活物从地上升起的时候， 轮子也随着升起。
20 灵往哪里去， 活物就往哪里去， 轮子也随着它们升起， 因为活物的灵是在轮子里面。
21 活物走动， 轮子也随着移动； 活物站着不动， 轮子也不动； 活物从地上升起， 轮子也随着升起， 因为活物的灵是在轮子里面。
22 在活物的头顶上面， 有穹苍的形状， 好像闪耀的水晶， 十分可畏， 在活物的头顶上面张开。
23 在穹苍下面， 活物的翅膀伸直张开， 互相接触； 各自用两个翅膀遮蔽身体。
24 活物走动的时候， 我听见它们翅膀的响声， 像洪水的声音， 也像全能者的声音， 又像军队喧嚷的声音。它们站着不动的时候， 翅膀就垂下来。
25 有声音从它们头顶上面的穹苍发出来； 它们站着不动的时候， 翅膀就垂下来。
26 在它们头顶的穹苍上面， 有宝座的形状， 好像蓝宝石的样子。在宝座上面， 有一个样子像人的形象。
27 我看见在那仿佛是他腰部以上， 好像闪耀的金属， 又好像有火四面包围。在那仿佛是他腰部以下， 我又看见好像有火， 光芒环绕着他。
28 下雨的日子， 云中彩虹的样子怎样， 环绕他的光芒的样子也怎样。这就是耶和华荣耀的形状的样子。我一看见， 就俯伏在地上， 跟着听见有说话的声音。
1 Now it came to pass in the thirtieth year, in the fourth month, in the fifth day of the month, as I was among the captives by the river Chebar, that the heavens were opened, and I saw visions of God. 2 In the fifth day of the month, which was the fifth year of king Jehoiachin’s captivity, 3 the word of Jehovah came expressly unto Ezekiel the priest, the son of Buzi, in the land of the Chaldeans by the river Chebar; and the hand of Jehovah was there upon him.
4 And I looked, and, behold, a stormy wind came out of the north, a great cloud, with a fire infolding itself, and a brightness round about it, and out of the midst thereof as it were glowing metal, out of the midst of the fire. 5 And out of the midst thereof came the likeness of four living creatures. And this was their appearance: they had the likeness of a man; 6 and every one had four faces, and every one of them had four wings. 7 And their feet were straight feet; and the sole of their feet was like the sole of a calf’s foot; and they sparkled like burnished brass. 8 And they had the hands of a man under their wings on their four sides; and they four had their faces and their wings thus: 9 their wings were joined one to another; they turned not when they went; they went every one straight forward. 10 As for the likeness of their faces, they had the face of a man; and they four had the face of a lion on the right side; and they four had the face of an ox on the left side; they four had also the face of an eagle. 11 And their faces and their wings were separate above; two wings of every one were joined one to another, and two covered their bodies. 12 And they went every one straight forward: whither the spirit was to go, they went; they turned not when they went. 13 As for the likeness of the living creatures, their appearance was like burning coals of fire, like the appearance of torches: the fire went up and down among the living creatures; and the fire was bright, and out of the fire went forth lightning. 14 And the living creatures ran and returned as the appearance of a flash of lightning.
15 Now as I beheld the living creatures, behold, one wheel upon the earth beside the living creatures, for each of the four faces thereof. 16 The appearance of the wheels and their work was like unto a beryl: and they four had one likeness; and their appearance and their work was as it were a wheel within a wheel. 17 When they went, they went in their four directions: they turned not when they went. 18 As for their rims, they were high and dreadful; and they four had their rims full of eyes round about. 19 And when the living creatures went, the wheels went beside them; and when the living creatures were lifted up from the earth, the wheels were lifted up. 20 Whithersoever the spirit was to go, they went; thither was the spirit to go: and the wheels were lifted up beside them; for the spirit of the living creature was in the wheels. 21 When those went, these went; and when those stood, these stood; and when those were lifted up from the earth, the wheels were lifted up beside them: for the spirit of the living creature was in the wheels.
22 And over the head of the living creature there was the likeness of a firmament, like the terrible crystal to look upon, stretched forth over their heads above. 23 And under the firmament were their wings straight, the one toward the other: every one had two which covered on this side, and every one had two which covered on that side, their bodies. 24 And when they went, I heard the noise of their wings like the noise of great waters, like the voice of the Almighty, a noise of tumult like the noise of a host: when they stood, they let down their wings. 25 And there was a voice above the firmament that was over their heads: when they stood, they let down their wings.
26 And above the firmament that was over their heads was the likeness of a throne, as the appearance of a sapphire stone; and upon the likeness of the throne was a likeness as the appearance of a man upon it above. 27 And I saw as it were glowing metal, as the appearance of fire within it round about, from the appearance of his loins and upward; and from the appearance of his loins and downward I saw as it were the appearance of fire, and there was brightness round about him. 28 As the appearance of the bow that is in the cloud in the day of rain, so was the appearance of the brightness round about. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of Jehovah. And when I saw it, I fell upon my face, and I heard a voice of one that spake.
