1 "你要把号角放在你的嘴上， 敌人如鹰一般来攻击耶和华的家； 因为他们违背了我的约， 干犯了我的律法。

2 他们必向我哀求： ‘我的 神啊！ 我们以色列认识你。’

3 以色列弃绝了良善， 所以仇敌必追赶他。

4 "他们立了君王， 却不是出于我； 他们立了首领， 我却不知道。他们用自己的金银为自己做了偶像， 以致他们被剪除。

5 撒玛利亚啊！ 我要除掉你的牛犊， 我的怒气要向撒玛利亚人发作， 他们要到几时才能无罪免罚呢？

6 这牛犊是出于以色列， 是匠人所做的， 它并不是神， 撒玛利亚的牛犊必被粉碎。

7 他们播种的是风， 收成的是暴风。生出来的苗没有麦穗， 不能做成面粉； 即或做成面粉， 也必被别国的人吞吃。

8 以色列被吞吃， 如今在万国中， 好像没有人喜悦的器皿。

9 他们上去投奔亚述， 像一只独行的野驴， 以法莲贿买爱人。

10 他们虽然在列国中贿买人， 我现在却要招聚他们。他们因着君王和领袖所加的重担， 逐渐衰微。

11 以法莲增添好些祭坛去犯罪， 这些就成了他们犯罪的祭坛。

12 我虽然为他们写了律法万条， 他们却看作是为外族人写的， 与他们毫无关系一般。

13 他们喜爱献祭， 献肉为祭， 又拿来吃； 耶和华却不喜悦他们。他必记得他们的罪孽， 追讨他们的罪恶； 他们必回到埃及去。

14 以色列忘记了造他的主， 建造了很多宫殿； 犹大也增添了很多坚固城。我却要降火在他的众城中， 吞灭他的堡垒。"

1 Set the trumpet to thy mouth. As an eagle he cometh against the house of Jehovah, because they have transgressed my covenant, and trespassed against my law. 2 They shall cry unto me, My God, we Israel know thee. 3 Israel hath cast off that which is good: the enemy shall pursue him. 4 They have set up kings, but not by me; they have made princes, and I knew it not: of their silver and their gold have they made them idols, that they may be cut off. 5 He hath cast off thy calf, O Samaria; mine anger is kindled against them: how long will it be ere they attain to innocency? 6 For from Israel is even this; the workman made it, and it is no God; yea, the calf of Samaria shall be broken in pieces. 7 For they sow the wind, and they shall reap the whirlwind: he hath no standing grain; the blade shall yield no meal; if so be it yield, strangers shall swallow it up.

8 Israel is swallowed up: now are they among the nations as a vessel wherein none delighteth. 9 For they are gone up to Assyria, like a wild ass alone by himself: Ephraim hath hired lovers. 10 Yea, though they hire among the nations, now will I gather them; and they begin to be diminished by reason of the burden of the king of princes.

11 Because Ephraim hath multiplied altars for sinning, altars have been unto him for sinning. 12 I wrote for him the ten thousand things of my law; but they are counted as a strange thing. 13 As for the sacrifices of mine offerings, they sacrifice flesh and eat it; but Jehovah accepteth them not: now will he remember their iniquity, and visit their sins; they shall return to Egypt. 14 For Israel hath forgotten his Maker, and builded palaces; and Judah hath multiplied fortified cities: but I will send a fire upon his cities, and it shall devour the castles thereof.
