1 And at the head of those that sealed were Nehemiah the Tirshatha, the son of Hachaliah, and Zedekiah. 2 — Seraiah, Azariah, Jeremiah, 3 Pashhur, Amariah, Malchijah, 4 Hattush, Shebaniah, Malluch, 5 Harim, Meremoth, Obadiah, 6 Daniel, Ginnethon, Baruch, 7 Meshullam, Abijah, Mijamin, 8 Maaziah, Bilgai, Shemaiah: these were the priests. 9 — And the Levites: Jeshua the son of Azaniah; Binnui, of the sons of Henadad; Kadmiel, 10 and their brethren, Shebaniah, Hodijah, Kelita, Pelaiah, Hanan, 11 Mica, Rehob, Hashabiah, 12 Zaccur, Sherebiah, Shebaniah, 13 Hodijah, Bani, Beninu. 14 — The chief of the people: Parosh, Pahath-Moab, Elam, Zatthu, Bani, 15 Bunni, Azgad, Bebai, 16 Adonijah, Bigvai, Adin, 17 Ater, Hezekiah, Azzur, 18 Hodijah, Hashum, Bezai, 19 Hariph, Anathoth, Nebai, 20 Magpiash, Meshullam, Hezir, 21 Meshezabeel, Zadok, Jaddua, 22 Pelatiah, Hanan, Anaiah, 23 Hoshea, Hananiah, Hashub, 24 Hallohesh, Pilha, Shobek, 25 Rehum, Hashabnah, Maaseiah, 26 and Ahijah, Hanan, Anan, 27 Malluch, Harim, Baanah. 28 And the rest of the people, the priests, the Levites, the doorkeepers, the singers, the Nethinim, and all they that had separated themselves from the peoples of the lands to the law of GodGodHebrew: Elohim their wives, their sons and their daughters, every one having knowledge and having understanding, 29 joined with their brethren, their nobles, and entered into a curse and into an oath, to walk in the law of GodGodHebrew: Elohim which had been given by Moses the servant of GodGodHebrew: Elohim and to keep and do all the commandments of Jehovah our Lord, and his ordinances and his statutes; 30 and that we would not give our daughters to the peoples of the land, nor take their daughters for our sons: 31 and that if the peoples of the land brought wares or any grain on the sabbath day to sell, we would not take it of them on the sabbath, or on any holy day; and that we would leave the land uncultivated the seventh year, and the exaction of every debt.
32 And we made ordinances for us, to charge ourselves yearly with the third part of a shekel for the service of the house of our GodGodHebrew: Elohim33 for the bread to be set in rows, and for the continual oblation, and for the continual burnt-offering, for that of the sabbaths and of the new moons, for the set feasts and for the holy things, and for the sin-offerings to make an atonement for Israel, and for all the work of the house of our GodGodHebrew: Elohim34 And we cast the lots among the priests, the Levites, and the people, for the wood-offering, to bring it into the house of our GodGodHebrew: Elohim according to our fathers' houses, at times appointed year by year, to burn upon the altar of Jehovah our GodGodHebrew: Elohim as it is written in the law; 35 and to bring the first-fruits of our land, and the first-fruits of all fruit of all trees, year by year to the house of Jehovah, 36 and the firstborn of our sons and of our cattle, as it is written in the law; and to bring the firstlings of our herds and of our flocks to the house of our GodGodHebrew: Elohim to the priests that minister in the house of our GodGodHebrew: Elohim37 and that we should bring the first-fruits of our coarse meal and our heave-offerings, and the fruit of all manner of trees, new wine and oil, to the priests, into the chambers of the house of our GodGodHebrew: Elohim and the tithes of our ground to the Levites, that they, the Levites, should take the tithes in all the cities of our tillage. 38 And the priest the son of Aaron shall be with the Levites, when the Levites take tithes; and the Levites shall bring up the tithe of the tithes to the house of our GodGodHebrew: Elohim into the chambers of the treasure-house. 39 For the children of Israel and the children of Levi shall bring the heave-offering of the corn, of the new wine and the oil, into the chambers, where are the vessels of the sanctuary, and the priests that minister, and the doorkeepers and the singers. And we will not forsake the house of our GodGodHebrew: Elohim.

29 Adhiriéronse á sus hermanos, sus principales, y vinieron en la protestación y en 10.29 Dt. 29.12,14.el juramento de que andarían en la ley de Dios, que fué dada por mano de Moisés 10.29 Dt. 33.1.siervo de Dios, y que guardarían y cumplirían todos los mandamientos de Jehová nuestro Señor, y sus juicios y sus estatutos;
30 Y que no daríamos nuestras 10.30 Ex. 34.16. Dt. 7.3. Esd. 9.12,14.hijas á los pueblos de la tierra, ni tomaríamos sus hijas para nuestros hijos.
31 Asimismo, que si los pueblos de la tierra 10.31 Ex. 20.10. Lv. 23.3. Dt. 5.12. cp. 13.15-22.trajesen á vender mercaderías y comestibles en día de sábado, nada tomaríamos de ellos en sábado, ni en día santificado; y que dejaríamos 10.31 Ex. 23.10,11. Lv. 25.4.el año séptimo, 10.31 Dt. 15.2.con remisión de toda deuda.
32 Impusímonos además por ley el cargo de contribuir cada año con la tercera parte de un siclo, para la obra de la casa de nuestro Dios;
33 10.33 Lv. 24.5,6. Para el pan de la proposición, y para la ofrenda continua, y para el 10.33 Nm. cps. 28, 29.holocausto continuo, de los sábados, y de las nuevas lunas, y de las 10.33 Nm. 29.39.festividades, y para las santificaciones y sacrificios por el pecado 10.33 Lv. 1.4.para expiar á Israel, y para toda la obra de la casa de nuestro Dios.
34 10.34 cp. 11.1. Echamos también las suertes, los sacerdotes, los Levitas, y el pueblo, acerca de la 10.34 cp. 13.31.ofrenda de la leña, para traerla á la casa de nuestro Dios, según las casas de nuestros padres, 10.34 Esd. 10.14.en los tiempos determinados cada un año, para quemar sobre el altar de Jehová nuestro Dios, como está escrito en la 10.34 Lv. 6.12.ley.
35 Y que cada año traeríamos 10.35 Ex. 23.19 y 34.26. Dt. 26.2.las primicias de nuestra tierra, y las primicias de todo fruto de todo árbol, á la casa de Jehová:
36 Asimismo los primogénitos de nuestros hijos y de nuestras bestias, 10.36 Ex. 13.2,12,13. Lv. 27.26,27. Nm. 18.15,16.como está escrito en la ley; y que traeríamos los primogénitos de nuestras vacas y de nuestras ovejas á la casa de nuestro Dios, á los sacerdotes que ministran en la casa de nuestro Dios:
37 Que traeríamos también 10.37 Lv. 23.17. Nm. 15.19. Dt. 18.4.las primicias de nuestras masas, y nuestras ofrendas, y del fruto de todo árbol, del vino y del aceite, á los sacerdotes, á las 10.37 vers. 38,39cámaras de la casa de nuestro Dios, y el 10.37 Lv. 27.30.diezmo de nuestra tierra á los Levitas; y que los Levitas recibirían las décimas de nuestras labores en todas las ciudades:
38 Y que estaría el sacerdote hijo de Aarón con los Levitas, cuando los Levitas recibirían el diezmo: y que los Levitas llevarían 10.38 Nm. 18.26.el diezmo del diezmo á la casa de nuestro Dios, á las cámaras en la 10.38 1 Cr. 26.20.casa del tesoro.
39 Porque á las cámaras han de llevar los hijos de Israel y los hijos de Leví la ofrenda del grano, del vino, y del aceite; y allí estarán los vasos del santuario, y los sacerdotes que ministran, y los porteros, y los cantores; y no abandonaremos la casa de nuestro Dios.
