61 Kaj la Sinjoro sin turnis, kaj alrigardis Petron. Kaj Petro ekmemoris la vorton de la Sinjoro, ke li diris al li:Antaŭ ol koko krios hodiaŭ, vi trifoje min malkonfesos.

62 Kaj li eliris, kaj maldolĉe ploris.

61 And the Lord having turned did look on Peter, and Peter remembered the word of the Lord, how he said to him -- Before a cock shall crow, thou mayest disown me thrice;

62 and Peter having gone without, wept bitterly.
