5 Thus hath the LORD said; Cursed [be] the man that trusts in man and makes flesh his arm and whose heart departs from the LORD.

1 Man [that is] born of a woman [is] of few days and full of trouble.

1 Rebuke not an elder, but intreat [him] as a father, [and] the younger men as brethren,

17 What [is] man that thou should magnify him and that thou should set thine heart upon him

15 abolishing in his flesh the enmity, [which was] the law of commandments in the order of rites, to edify in himself the two in one new man, making peace,

45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam [was made] a life-giving Spirit.

46 Howbeit the spiritual is not first, but the natural; and afterward, that which is spiritual.

47 The first man is of the earth, earthy; the second man [is] the Lord of heaven.

48 As [is] the earthy, such [are] those also that are earthy; and as [is] the heavenly, such also [are] those that are heavenly.

49 And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.

6 But one in a certain place testified, saying, What is man, that thou art mindful of him? or the son of man, that thou dost visit him?

7 For let not such [a] man think that he shall receive anything of the Lord.

8 The double minded man [is] unstable in all his ways.

24 Man's steps [are] of the LORD; how can a man then understand his own way?

26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness; and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the fowl of the air and over the beasts and over all the earth and over every serpent that moves upon the earth.

27 So God created man in his [own] image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

1 Of man [are] the preparations of the heart, but the answer of the tongue [is] from the LORD.

8 And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and the man and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God among the trees of the garden.

11 But thou, O man of God, flee these things and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, charity, tolerance, meekness.

21 For the ways of man [are] before the eyes of the LORD, and he weighs all his goings.

11 When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things.

22 that ye put off [everything] concerning the old way of life, [that is], the old man who corrupts himself according to deceitful desires,

23 and be renewed in the spirit of your understanding

24 and that ye put on the new man, which is created in conformity to God in righteousness and in the holiness of the truth.

17 Shall mortal man be more just than God? Shall a man be more pure than his maker?

12 Therefore, in the manner which sin entered into the world by one man, and because of sin, death; and so death passed upon all men in the one in whom all sinned.
