For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.:
knowing that the proving of your faith works patience,
And Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe this, all things [are] possible to him that believes.
that he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man,
that the Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith, that ye, being rooted and grounded in charity,
with our eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of [our] faith, who having been offered joy, endured the stake, despising the shame and was seated at the right hand of the throne of God.
By faith also Sara herself [being sterile] received strength to conceive seed and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she believed him to be faithful who had promised.
if we are unfaithful, [yet] he remains faithful; he cannot deny himself.
Now the just shall live by faith, but if [any man] draws back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.
For whatsoever is born of God overcomes the world; and this is the victory that overcomes the world, [even] our faith.
And Jesus said unto them, I AM the bread of life; he that comes to me shall never hunger, and he that believes in me shall never thirst.
I have fought a good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith;
For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto saving health.
For in him is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith, as it is written, The just shall live by faith.
I have chosen the way of truth; I have laid thy judgments [before me].
But thou, O man of God, flee these things and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, charity, tolerance, meekness.
Therefore I say unto you that everything that ye ask for, praying, believe that ye receive it, and it shall come upon you.
He that believes in the Son has eternal life, and he that does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him.:
Though he slay me, yet I will trust in him; but I will defend my ways before him.
But without faith [it is] impossible to please God; for he that comes to God must believe that he is and [that] he is a rewarder of those that diligently seek him.
Trust in the LORD with all thine heart and lean not unto thine own understanding.
In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
(for we walk by faith, not by sight).
Faith, therefore, is the substance of things waited for, the evidence of things not seen.
above all, taking the shield of faith, with which ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
For by grace are ye saved through faith and that not of yourselves: [it is] the gift of God,
Not of works, lest any man should boast.
Jesus said unto her, Did I not say unto thee that if thou wouldest believe thou shalt see the glory of God?
And believing, the God of hope fills you with all joy and peace that ye may abound in hope by the virtue of the Holy Spirit.
Jesus said unto her, I AM the resurrection and the life; he that believes in me, though he is dead, yet shall he live;
and whosoever lives and believes in me shall never die. Believest thou this?
For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith.
For with God nothing is impossible.
6 In which ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are afflicted in diverse temptations,
7 that the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold (which perishes, nevertheless it is tried with fire), might be found unto praise and glory and honour when Jesus, the Christ, is made manifest;
8 whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though at present ye see [him] not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory;
9 receiving the end of your faith, [even] the saving health of your souls.
I am crucified with Christ; nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ lives in me, and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
receiving the end of your faith, [even] the saving health of your souls.
So then faith [comes] by hearing, and [the] ear [to hear] by the word of God.
Therefore, brethren, we were comforted over you in all our tribulation and need by your faith;
And all things, whatever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.
that your faith should not be founded in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.
And Jesus, answering, said unto them, Have faith in God.
But ask in faith, not doubting anything. For [he] that doubts is like the wave of the sea which is driven of the wind and is tossed from one side to another.
Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, be brave, be strong.
5 And if any of you lacks wisdom, let them ask of God (who gives abundantly to all, and without reproach), and it shall be given them.
6 But ask in faith, not doubting anything. For [he] that doubts is like the wave of the sea which is driven of the wind and is tossed from one side to another.
7 For let not such [a] man think that he shall receive anything of the Lord.
8 The double minded man [is] unstable in all his ways.
And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unfaithfulness; for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove from here to yonder place, and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.
And though I have [the gift of] prophecy and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.
whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though at present ye see [him] not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory;
receiving the end of your faith, [even] the saving health of your souls.
But to him that does not work, but believes in him that justifies the ungodly, the faith is counted as righteousness.
And Jesus said unto him, Go; thy faith has saved thee. And immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus in the way.:
Then he touched their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you.
And, behold, they brought him a paralyzed man, lying on a bed; and Jesus, seeing their faith, said unto the paralyzed man, Trust, son; thy sins are forgiven thee.
And he that makes a difference is condemned if he eats, because [he] does not [eat] by faith; and whatsoever [is] not out of faith is sin.:
remembering without ceasing the work of your faith and labour and charity and of waiting with the hope of our Lord Jesus Christ in the sight of our God and Father,
resist him steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are to be accomplished in the company of your brethren that are in the world.
For ye are all sons of God by faith in Christ Jesus.
For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great [is] thy faith; be it unto thee even as thou desire. And her daughter was made whole from that very hour.
Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith and doubt not, ye shall not only do this to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea, it shall be done.
For the Lord GOD, the Holy One of Israel has said; In returning and rest shall ye be saved; in quietness and in confidence shall be your strength: and ye would not.
Justified therefore by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus, the Christ,
for the hope of eternal life, which God, who cannot lie, promised before the times of the ages
Bear [with] the one who is sick in the faith, [but] not unto doubtful discernment.
