Mulher

1 Every wise woman builds her house, but the foolish plucks it down with her hands.

1 And it came to pass afterward that he went throughout every city and village, preaching and announcing the gospel of the kingdom of God, and the twelve with him,

2 and certain women, who had been healed of evil spirits and infirmities: Mary called Magdalene, out of whom went seven devils,

3 and Joanna the wife of Chuza, Herod's steward, and Susanna, and many others who ministered unto him of their substance.

3 The aged women likewise, that [they be] in behaviour as becomes holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of honesty;

4 that they may teach the young women to be prudent, to love their husbands, to love their children,

5 [to be] temperate, chaste, good housekeepers, subject to their own husbands, that the word of God not be blasphemed.

21 And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept; and he took one of his sides and closed up the flesh in its place;

22 and the LORD God built [that] which he had taken from the side of the man into a woman and brought her unto the man.

23 And the man said, This [is] now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called Woman because she was taken out of Man.

16 The gracious woman retains honour, and strong [men] retain riches.

27 So God created man in his [own] image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

11 And now, my daughter, fear not; I will do unto thee all that thou hast said, for all the city of my people know that thou [art] a valiant woman.

11 The wives likewise [are to be] honest, not slanderers, temperate, faithful in all things.

19 [It is] better to dwell in the wilderness than with a contentious and an angry woman.

30 [Schin] Grace [is] deceitful, and beauty [is] vain, [but] the woman that fears the LORD shall be praised.

7 Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with [them] wisely, giving honour unto the woman, as unto a more fragile vessel and as being heirs together of the grace of life, that your prayers not be hindered.

4 The virtuous woman [is] a crown to her husband, but she that makes ashamed [is] as rottenness in his bones.

1 Likewise, ye wives, [be] in subjection to your own husbands, so that also those who do not obey the Word, may be won without a word by the conversation of their wives,

14 House and riches [are] the inheritance from fathers, but the prudent wife [is] from the LORD.
