14 Ye are the light of the world. A city set upon a mountain cannot be hid.

15 Neither do men light a lamp and put it under a bushel, but on the lampstand, and it gives light unto all that are in the house.

16 Let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your Father who is in the heavens.


16 the people who sat in darkness saw great light, and to those who sat in the region and shadow of death, light is sprung up.


14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers, for what fellowship does righteousness have with unrighteousness? and what communion does light have with darkness?


9 But ye are the chosen generation, [a] royal priesthood, [a] holy nation, [an] acquired people, that ye should show forth the virtues of him who has called you out of darkness into his marvellous light.


13 For [thou hast] delivered my life from death; thou hast kept my feet from falling, that I may walk before God in the light of the living.:


23 And the city had no need of the sun neither of the moon to shine in her, for the clarity of God has illuminated it, and the Lamb [is] its lamp.


46 I am come [as] a light into the world that whosoever believes in me should not abide in darkness.

24 The LORD bless thee and keep thee;

25 the LORD make his face shine upon thee and have mercy on thee;

26 the LORD lift up his face upon thee, and place peace in thee.


34 The lamp of the body is the eye; therefore when thine eye is sincere, thy whole body also is full of light; but when [thine eye] is evil, thy body also is full of darkness.


5 Ye are all the sons of light, and the sons of the day; we are not of the night, nor of darkness.

6 For the God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, has shined in our hearts to [bring forth] the light of the knowledge of the clarity of God in the face of Jesus Christ.


3 For they did not get the land in inheritance by their own sword, neither did their own arm save them, but thy right hand and thine arm, and the light of thy countenance because thy delight was in them.


2 The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light; those that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them has the light shined.


16 Make thy face to shine upon thy servant; save me for thy mercies' sake.
