Milagres de Jesus

27 But I tell you in truth, there are some standing here who shall not taste of death until they see the kingdom of God.

28 And it came to pass about eight days after these words, he took Peter and John and James and went up into the mountain to pray.

29 And as he prayed, the fashion of his countenance was altered, and his raiment [was] white [and] glistering.

30 And, behold, two men talked with him, who were Moses and Elijah,

31 who appeared in majesty and spoke of his decease which he should accomplish at Jerusalem.

38 And they came to the house of the prince of the synagogue and saw the tumult and those that wept and wailed greatly.

39 And when he was come in, he said unto them, Why make ye this ado and weep? The damsel is not dead, but sleeps.

40 And they laughed him to scorn. But when he had put them all out, he took the father and the mother of the damsel and those that were with him and entered in where the damsel was lying.

41 And taking the damsel by the hand, he said unto her, Talitha cumi, which is, being interpreted, Damsel, I say unto thee, arise.

42 And straightway the damsel arose and walked, for she was twelve years old. And they were astonished with a great astonishment.

27 And when Jesus departed from there, two blind men followed him, crying out and saying, [Thou] Son of David, have mercy on us.

28 And when he was come into the house, the blind men came to him; and Jesus said unto them, Believe ye that I am able to do this? They said unto him, Yes, Lord.

29 Then he touched their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you.

30 And their eyes were opened; and Jesus straitly charged them, saying, See [that] no one knows [it].

31 But they, when they were departed, spread abroad his fame in all that country.

12 And it came to pass when he was in a certain city, behold a man full of leprosy who, seeing Jesus, fell on [his] face and besought him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.

13 And he put forth [his] hand and touched him, saying, I will; be thou clean. And immediately the leprosy departed from him.

3 And they came unto him, bringing a paralytic, carried by four [men].

4 And when they could not come near unto him for the crowd, they uncovered the roof [of the house] where he was; and when they had broken it open, they let down the bed in which the paralytic lay.

5 When Jesus saw their faith, he said unto the paralytic, Son, thy sins are forgiven thee.

6 But there were certain of the scribes sitting there and thinking in their hearts,

7 Why does this [fellow] so blaspheme? Who can forgive sins but God only?

8 And Jesus, knowing afterward in his spirit that they so reasoned within themselves, said unto them, Why think ye these things in your hearts?

9 What is easier to say to the paralytic, [Thy] sins are forgiven thee, or to say, Arise and take up thy bed and walk?

10 But that ye may know that the Son of man has power on earth to forgive sins (he spoke to the sick of the palsy),

11 I say unto thee, Arise and take up thy bed and go to thy house.

12 And by and by he arose, took up the bed, and went forth before them all; insomuch that they were all amazed and glorified God, saying, We never saw anything like unto this.

32 Then Jesus called his disciples [unto him] and said, I have mercy on the multitude because they persevere with me now three days and have nothing to eat, and I desire not to send them away fasting lest they faint in the way.

33 Then his disciples say unto him, From where [do] we have so much bread in the wilderness as to satisfy so great a multitude?

34 And Jesus said unto them, How many loaves have ye? And they said, Seven and a few little fishes.

35 And he commanded the multitude to sit down on the ground.

36 And he took the seven loaves and the fishes and gave thanks and broke [them] and gave to his disciples, and the disciples to the multitude.

37 And they all ate and were filled, and they took up of the broken [food] that was left seven baskets full.

38 And those that ate were four thousand men besides women and children.

11 But ye say, It is enough if a man shall say to his father or mother, [It is] all Corban, (that is to say, my gift to God) whatever with which thou mightest be profited by me.

12 And ye suffer him to do no more for his father or for his mother,

13 invalidating the word of God with your tradition, which ye have given; and many such like things do ye.

14 And when he had called all the people [unto him], he said unto them, Hearken unto me every one [of you] and understand;

15 there is nothing from outside the man that entering into him can defile him, but the things which come out of him, those are what defile the man.

30 But Simon's mother-in-law lay sick of a fever, and soon they told him of her.

31 And he came and took her by the hand and lifted her up; and the fever left her by and by, and she ministered unto them.

2 And, behold, a leper came and worshipped him, saying, Lord, if thou art willing, thou art able to cleanse me.

3 And Jesus put forth [his] hand, and touched him, saying, I will; be thou clean. And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.

4 Then Jesus said unto him, See thou tell no one; but go, show thyself to the priest and offer the gift that Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them.

1 Now when he had ended all his words in the audience of the people, he entered into Capernaum.

2 And a certain centurion's servant, who was dear unto him, was sick and ready to die.

3 And when he heard of Jesus, he sent unto him the elders of the Jews, beseeching him that he would come and free his servant.

4 And when they came to Jesus, they besought him instantly, saying, That he is worthy that this should be done for him,

5 for he loves our nation and he has built us a synagogue.

6 Then Jesus went with them. And when he was now not far from the house, the centurion sent friends to him, saying unto him, Lord, trouble not thyself, for I am not worthy that thou should enter under my roof;

7 therefore neither did I think myself worthy to come unto thee but say the word, and my servant shall be healed.

8 For I also am a man set under authority, having soldiers under me, and I say unto one, Go, and he goes; and to another, Come, and he comes; and to my servant, Do this, and he does [it].

9 When Jesus heard these things, he marvelled at him and turned about and said unto the people that followed him, I say unto you [that] not even in Israel have I found such great faith.

10 And those that had been sent, returning to the house, found the servant that had been sick whole.

1 And the third day there was a marriage in Cana of Galilee, and the mother of Jesus was there,

2 and Jesus and his disciples were also called to the marriage.

3 And being short of wine, the mother of Jesus said unto him, They have no wine.

4 Jesus said unto her, Woman, what have I to do with thee? My hour is not yet come.

5 His mother said unto the servants, Whatsoever he saith unto you, do [it].

6 And there were set there six waterpots of stone, after the manner of the purifying of the Jews, containing two or three firkins apiece.

7 Jesus said unto them, Fill the waterpots with water. And they filled them up to the brim.

8 And he said unto them, Draw out now and bear unto the butler. And they bore [it].

9 When the butler had tasted the water that was made wine and knew not where it was [from] (but the servants who drew the water knew), the butler called the bridegroom

10 and said unto him, Every man at the beginning sets forth the good wine, and when they are well satisfied, then that which is worse; [but] thou hast kept the good wine until now.

11 This beginning of the signs Jesus did in Cana of Galilee and manifested forth his glory, and his disciples believed on him.

15 And when it was evening, his disciples came to him, saying, This is a desert place, and the time is now past; send the multitude away that they may go into the villages and buy themselves food.

16 But Jesus said unto them, They need not depart; give ye them to eat.

17 And they said unto him, We have here but five loaves and two fishes.

18 He said, Bring them here to me.

19 And he commanded the multitude to sit down on the grass and took the five loaves and the two fishes; and looking up to heaven, he blessed and broke and gave the loaves to [his] disciples, and the disciples to the multitude.

20 And they all ate and were filled, and they took up of the fragments that remained, twelve baskets full.

21 And those that had eaten were about five thousand men besides women and children.

24 And when the messengers of John were departed, he began to speak unto the people concerning John, What went ye out into the wilderness to see? A reed shaken by the wind?

25 But what went ye out to see? A man clothed in soft raiment? Behold, those that are gorgeously apparelled and live delicately are in kings' courts.

26 But what went ye out to see? A prophet? Yea, I say unto you, and much more than a prophet.

27 This is [he] of whom it is written, Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, who shall prepare thy way before thee.

28 For I say unto you, Among those that are born of women there is not a greater prophet than John the Baptist, but he that is least in the kingdom of God is greater than he.

29 And all the people that heard [him] and the publicans justified God, being baptized with the baptism of John.

30 But the Pharisees and lawyers rejected the counsel of God against themselves, being not baptized of him.

35 And when the day was now far spent, his disciples came unto him and said, This is a desert place, and now the time [is] far passed;

36 send them away that they may go into the country round about and into the villages and buy themselves bread, for they have nothing to eat.

37 He answered and said unto them, Give ye them to eat. And they said unto him, Shall we go and buy bread for two hundred denarius and give them to eat?

38 He said unto them, How many loaves have ye? go and see. And when they knew, they said, Five, and two fishes.

39 And he commanded them to make all sit down by companies upon the green grass.

40 And they sat down in ranks, by hundreds and by fifties.

41 And when he had taken the five loaves and the two fishes, looking up to heaven, he blessed and broke the loaves and gave [them] to his disciples to set before them, and the two fishes he divided among them all.

42 And they all ate and were filled.

43 And they took up twelve baskets full of the fragments and of the fishes.

44 And those that ate were five thousand men.

19 So when they had rowed about twenty-five or thirty furlongs, they saw Jesus walking upon the sea and drawing nigh unto the ship, and they were afraid.

20 But he said unto them, I AM; be not afraid.

21 Then they willingly received him into the ship, and immediately the ship was at the land where they went.

1 And it came to pass as he went into the house of one of the princes of the Pharisees to eat bread on the sabbath day that they watched him.

2 And, behold, there was a certain man before him who had the dropsy.

3 And Jesus, answering, spoke unto the lawyers and Pharisees, saying, Is it lawful to heal on the sabbath day?

4 And they were silent. And he took [him] and healed him and dismissed him

21 Then Jesus left there and departed into the parts of Tyre and Sidon.

22 And, behold, a woman of Canaan having come out of the same borders cried unto him, saying, Lord, Son of David, have mercy on me; my daughter is sick, possessed by a demon.

23 But he answered her not a word. And his disciples came and besought him, saying, Send her away, for she cries [out] after us.

24 But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

25 Then she came and worshipped him, saying, Lord, help me.

26 But he answered and said, It is not good to take the children's bread and to cast [it] to the little dogs.

27 And she said, Yes, Lord, yet the little dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their masters' table.

28 Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great [is] thy faith; be it unto thee even as thou desire. And her daughter was made whole from that very hour.

24 And from there he arose and went into the borders of Tyre and Sidon, and entering into a house, desired that no man know [of it]; but he could not be hid.

25 For a [certain] woman, whose young daughter had an unclean spirit, heard of him and came and fell at his feet;

26 the woman was a Greek, a Syrophenician by nation, and she besought him that he would cast forth the demon out of her daughter.

27 But Jesus said unto her, Let the children first be filled, for it is not good to take the children's bread and to cast [it] unto the dogs.

28 And she answered and said unto him, Yes, Lord, but even the dogs under the table eat of the children's crumbs.

29 And he said unto her, For this word go; the demon has gone out of thy daughter.

30 And when she came to her house, she found that the demon had gone out, and the daughter lay upon the bed.

22 Now it came to pass on a certain day, that he went into a ship with his disciples, and he said unto them, Let us go over unto the other side of the lake. And they launched forth.

23 But as they sailed, he fell asleep; and there came down a storm of wind on the lake; and they were being filled [with] [water] and were in jeopardy.

24 And they came to him and awoke him, saying, Master, master, we perish. Then he arose and rebuked the wind and the raging of the water, and they ceased, and there was a calm.

25 And he said unto them, Where is your faith? And they, being afraid, wondered, saying one to another, Who is this! for he even commands the winds and the water, and they obey him.

31 And again, departing from the coasts of Tyre, he came by Sidon unto the sea of Galilee through the midst of the borders of Decapolis.

32 And they bring unto him one that was deaf and had an impediment in his speech, and they beseech him to put his hand upon him.

33 And taking him aside from the multitude, he put his fingers into the man's ears; and spitting, he touched the man's tongue [with the saliva];

34 and looking up to heaven, he cried out, and said, Ephphatha, that is, Be opened.

35 And straightway his ears were opened, and that which bound his tongue was loosed, and he spoke plainly.

36 And he charged them that they should tell no one; but the more he commanded them, so much more and more they published [it]

37 and were beyond measure astonished, saying, He has done all things well: he makes both the deaf to hear and the dumb to speak.:

27 And when he went forth to land, there met him out of the city a certain man, who had demons for a long time and wore no clothes, neither abode in [any] house, but in the tombs.

28 When he saw Jesus, he cried out and fell down before him and with a loud voice said, What have I to do with thee, Jesus, [thou] Son of God most high? I beseech thee, torment me not.

29 (For he had commanded the unclean spirit to come out of the man. For oftentimes it had caught him, and he was kept bound with chains and in fetters, and he broke the bands and was driven of the demon into the wilderness.)

30 And Jesus asked him, saying, What is thy name? And he said, Legion, because many demons were entered into him.

31 And they besought him that he would not command them to go out into the abyss.

32 And there was there a herd of many swine feeding on the mountain, and they besought him that he would allow them to enter into them. And he allowed them.

33 Then the demons went out of the man and entered into the swine, and the herd ran violently down a steep place into the lake and were choked.

34 When those that fed [them] saw what was done, they fled and went and told [it] in the city and in the country.

35 Then they went out to see what was done and came to Jesus and found the man, out of whom the demons were departed, sitting at the feet of Jesus, clothed, and in his right mind; and they were afraid.

22 And one of the princes of the synagogue came, Jairus by name; and when he saw him, he fell at his feet

23 and besought him greatly, saying, My little daughter lies at the point of death; come and lay thy hands on her that she may be saved, and she shall live.

24 And [Jesus] went with him; and [a] great multitude followed him and thronged him.

1 After these things Jesus manifested himself again to the disciples at the sea of Tiberias, and he manifested himself in this manner:

2 Simon Peter and Thomas, called Didymus, and Nathanael of Cana in Galilee and the [sons] of Zebedee and two other of his disciples were together.

3 Simon Peter said unto them, I am going fishing. They said unto him, Let us also go with thee. They went forth and entered into a ship immediately, and that night they caught nothing.

4 But when the morning was now come, Jesus stood on the shore, but the disciples did not understand that it was Jesus.

5 Then Jesus said unto them, Children, have ye any food? They answered him, No.

6 And he said unto them, Cast the net on the right hand side of the ship, and ye shall find. They cast therefore, and now they were not able to draw it for the multitude of fishes.

7 Therefore that disciple whom Jesus loved said unto Peter, It is the Lord. Now when Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he girt [his] fisher's coat [unto him] (for he was naked) and cast himself into the sea.

8 And the other disciples came in the [little] ship (for they were not far from land, but as it were two hundred cubits), dragging the net with [the] fishes.

9 As soon then as they were come to land, they saw a fire of coals there, and a fish laid thereon, and bread.

10 Jesus said unto them, Bring of the fish which ye have now caught.

11 Simon Peter went up and drew the net to land full of great fishes, one hundred and fifty-three; and being so many, yet the net was not broken.

22 And he came to Bethsaida, and they bring a blind man unto him and beseech him to touch him.

23 So, taking the blind man by the hand, he led him out of the town; and spitting into his eyes and putting his hands upon [them], he asked him if he saw anything.

24 And looking, he said, I see men; I see that they walk as trees.

25 After that, he put [his] hands again upon his eyes and caused him to see; and he was whole and saw everyone, far away and clearly.

26 And he sent him away to his house, saying, Neither go into the town, nor tell [it] to any in the town.

29 And as they departed from Jericho, a great multitude followed him.

30 And, behold, two blind men sitting by the way side, when they heard that Jesus passed by, cried out, saying, Lord, Son of David, have mercy on us.

31 And the multitude rebuked them, that they should be silent; but they cried the more, saying, Lord, Son of David, have mercy on us.

32 And Jesus stood still and called them and said, What desire ye that I shall do unto you?

33 They say unto him, Lord, that our eyes may be opened.

34 Then Jesus, having mercy [on them], touched their eyes; and immediately their eyes received sight, and they followed him.:

6 And it came to pass also on another sabbath that he entered into the synagogue and taught, and a man was there whose right hand was withered.

7 And the scribes and Pharisees watched him, whether he would heal on the sabbath day, that they might find an accusation against him.

8 But he knew their thoughts and said to the man who had the withered hand, Rise up and stand forth in the midst. And he arose and stood forth.

9 Then said Jesus unto them, I will ask you one thing: Is it lawful on the sabbath days to do good or to do evil? to save [a] person or to destroy [them]?

10 And looking round about upon them all, he said unto the man, Stretch forth thy hand. And he did so, and his hand was restored whole as the other.

43 And a woman having an issue of blood twelve years, who had spent all her living upon physicians but could not be healed by any,

44 came behind [him] and touched the border of his garment, and immediately her issue of blood stopped.

45 Then Jesus said, Who touched me? When all denied, Peter and those that were with him said, Master, the multitude throng thee and press [thee], and sayest thou, Who touched me?

46 And Jesus said, Someone has touched me, for I perceive that virtue is gone out of me.

47 And when the woman saw that she was not hid, she came trembling, and falling down before him, she declared unto him before all the people for what cause she had touched him and how she was healed immediately.

48 And he said unto her, Daughter, be of good comfort; thy faith has made thee whole; go in peace.

10 and, behold, there was a man who had [his] hand withered. And they asked him, saying, Is it lawful to heal on the sabbath days? that they might accuse him.

11 And he said unto them, What man shall there be among you that shall have one sheep, and if it falls into a pit on the sabbath day, will he not lay hold on it and lift [it] out?

12 Therefore, how much more is a man worth than a sheep? So that it is lawful to do good on the sabbath days.

13 Then he said to the man, Stretch forth thine hand. And he stretched [it] forth; and it was restored whole, like the other.

12 And the next day when they left Bethany, he was hungry,

13 and seeing a fig tree afar off having leaves, he came, if haply he might find any thing upon her; but when he came to her, he found nothing but leaves, for the time of figs was not [yet].

14 Then Jesus, answering, said to the fig tree, Never again shall anyone eat fruit of thee [hereafter] for ever. And his disciples heard [it].

23 And there was in their synagogue a man with an unclean spirit, and he cried out,

24 saying, Let [us] alone; what have we to do with thee, thou Jesus of Nazareth? Art thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art, the Holy One of God.

25 And Jesus rebuked him, saying, Be silent, and come out of him.

26 And the unclean spirit tore him and cried with a loud voice and came out of him.

14 And when they were come to the multitude, there came to him a [certain] man, kneeling down to him, and saying,

15 Lord, have mercy on my son, for he is lunatic and suffers miserably; for many times he has fallen into the fire and often into the water.

16 And I brought him to thy disciples, and they could not cure him.

17 Then Jesus answered and said, O unfaithful and crooked generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I suffer you? Bring him here to me.

18 And Jesus rebuked him, and the demon departed out of him and the child was cured from that very hour.

38 And, behold, a man of the multitude cried out, saying, Master, I beseech thee, look upon my son, for he is my only child.

39 And, behold, a spirit takes him, and he suddenly cries out; and it throws him into convulsions with foaming, and with difficulty it departs from him, bruising him.

40 And I besought thy disciples to cast him out, and they could not.

41 And Jesus answering said, O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you and suffer you? Bring thy son here.

42 And as he was yet a coming, the demon threw him down into convulsions; but Jesus rebuked the unclean spirit and healed the child and delivered him again to his father.

43 And they were all amazed at the mighty power of God. But while they all wondered at all [the] things which Jesus did, he said unto his disciples,

2 And, behold, they brought him a paralyzed man, lying on a bed; and Jesus, seeing their faith, said unto the paralyzed man, Trust, son; thy sins are forgiven thee.

3 And, behold, certain of the scribes said within themselves, This [man] blasphemes.

4 And Jesus knowing their thoughts said, Why think ye evil in your hearts?

5 For what is easier, to say, [Thy] sins are forgiven thee, or to say, Arise, and walk?

6 But that ye may know that the Son of man has power on earth to forgive sins (then said he to the paralysed man), Arise, take up thy bed, and go unto thine house.

7 Then he arose and departed to his house.

20 And passing by in the morning, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots.

21 Then Peter, remembering, said unto him, Master, behold, the fig tree which thou didst curse is withered away.

22 And Jesus, answering, said unto them, Have faith in God.

23 For verily I say unto you that whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Remove thyself and cast thyself into the sea, and shall not doubt in his heart but shall believe that what he says shall be done whatsoever he says shall be done unto him.

24 Therefore I say unto you that everything that ye ask for, praying, believe that ye receive it, and it shall come upon you.

25 And when ye are praying, forgive if ye have anything against anyone, so that your Father who [is] in the heavens will also forgive you your trespasses.

24 And when they were come to Capernaum, those that received the two drachmas came to Peter and said, Does not your master pay the two drachmas?

25 He said, Yes. And when he was come into the house, Jesus spoke unto him first, saying, What thinkest thou, Simon? of whom do the kings of the earth take custom or tribute? of their own sons or of strangers?

26 Peter said unto him, Of strangers. Jesus said unto him, Then the sons are free.

27 Notwithstanding, lest we should offend them, go thou to the sea and cast a hook and take up the first fish that comes up; and when thou hast opened his mouth, thou shalt find a stater [a coin worth four drachmas]; take that, and give it unto them for me and thee.:

22 Then was brought unto him one possessed with a demon, blind, and dumb, and he healed him, insomuch that the blind and dumb both spoke and saw.

50 And one of them smote the servant of the prince of the priests and cut off his right ear.

51 And Jesus answered and said, Suffer ye thus far. And he touched his ear and healed him.

31 And the Lord said, Unto whom then shall I compare the men of this generation? and to what are they like?

32 They are like unto children sitting in the marketplace and calling one to another and saying, We have piped unto you, and ye have not danced; we have mourned to you, and ye have not wept.

33 For John the Baptist came neither eating bread nor drinking wine, and ye say, He has a demon.

34 The Son of man is come eating and drinking, and ye say, Behold a gluttonous man and a winebibber, a friend of publicans and sinners!

35 But wisdom is justified of all her children.

36 And one of the Pharisees asked him if he would eat with him. And he went into the Pharisee's house and sat down to food.

37 And, behold, a woman who had been a sinner in the city, when she knew that [Jesus] sat at food in the Pharisee's house, brought an alabaster box of ointment,

5 And when Jesus was entering into Capernaum, a centurion came unto him, beseeching him,

6 and saying, Lord, my servant lies at home paralysed, grievously tormented.

7 And Jesus said unto him, I will come and heal him.

8 The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou should come under my roof; but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed.

9 For I also am a man under authority, having soldiers under me; and I say to this [man], Go, and he goes; and to another, Come, and he comes; and to my servant, Do this, and he does [it].

10 When Jesus heard [it], he marvelled and said to those that followed, Verily I say unto you that not even in Israel have I found such faith.

11 But I say unto you, That many shall come from [the] east and west and shall sit down [at the table] with Abraham and Isaac and Jacob in the kingdom of the heavens.

12 But the sons of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

13 Then Jesus said unto the centurion, Go, and as thou hast believed, [so] be it done unto thee. And his servant was healed in that same hour.

23 And when Jesus came into the ruler's house and saw the minstrels and the people making a noise,

24 he said unto them, Give place, for the maid is not dead, but sleeps. And they laughed him to scorn.

25 But when the people were put forth, he went in and took her by the hand, and the maid arose.

1 And they came over unto the other side of the sea, into the country of the Gadarenes.

2 And when he was come out of the ship, immediately there met him a man of the tombs, with an unclean spirit,

3 who had [his] dwelling among the tombs; and no one could bind him, no, not with chains,

4 because many times he had been bound with fetters and chains, and the chains had been broken in pieces by him, and the fetters shattered; neither could anyone tame him.

5 And always, night and day, he was in the mountains and in the tombs, crying out and hurting himself with stones.

6 But when he saw Jesus afar off, he ran and worshipped him.

7 Crying out with a loud voice, he said, What hast thou with me, Jesus, [thou] Son of the most high God? I adjure thee by God, that thou torment me not.

8 For he said unto him, Come out of the man, [thou] unclean spirit.

9 And he asked him, What [is] thy name? And he answered, saying, My name [is] Legion, for we are many.

10 And he besought him much that he would not send him away out of that country.

11 Now near unto the mountains there was a great herd of swine feeding,

12 and all those devils besought him, saying, Send us into the swine, that we may enter into them.

13 And forthwith Jesus gave them leave. And the unclean spirits went out and entered into the swine, and the herd fell over a cliff into the sea (they were about two thousand) and were choked in the sea.

14 And those that fed the swine fled and told [it] in the city and in the country. And [people] went out to see what it was that had happened.

35 And it came to pass that as he came near unto Jericho, a certain blind man sat beside the way begging,

36 and hearing the multitude pass by, he asked what this might be.

37 And they told him that Jesus of Nazareth passes by.

38 And he cried out, saying, Jesus, [thou] Son of David, have mercy on me.

39 And those who went before rebuked him that he should remain silent; but he cried out so much the more, [Thou] Son of David, have mercy on me.

40 And Jesus stopped and commanded him to be brought unto him, and when he was come near, he asked him,

41 saying, What wilt thou that I shall do unto thee? And he said, Lord, that I may see.

42 And Jesus said unto him, See; thy faith has saved thee.

43 And immediately he saw and followed him, glorifying God; and all the people, when they saw [it], gave praise unto God.:

18 While he spoke these things unto them, behold, a certain ruler came and worshipped him, saying, My daughter is even now dead; but come and lay thy hand upon her, and she shall live.

19 And Jesus arose and followed him, and [so did] his disciples.

40 And a leper came to him, beseeching him and kneeling down to him and saying unto him, If thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.

41 And Jesus, having mercy on him, put forth [his] hand and touched him and said unto him, I will; be thou clean.

42 And as soon as he had spoken, immediately the leprosy departed from him, and he was clean.

11 And, behold, there was a woman who had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years and was bowed together and could in no wise lift [herself] up.

12 And when Jesus saw her, he called [her] and said unto her, Woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity.

13 And he laid [his] hands on her, and immediately she was made straight and glorified God.

37 And there arose a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the ship, so that it was now full.

38 And he was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow; and they awoke him and said unto him, Master, dost thou not care that we perish?

39 And as he arose, he rebuked the wind and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.

40 And he said unto them, Why are ye so fearful? How is it that ye have no faith?

41 And they feared exceedingly and said one to another, Who is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?:

1 Now a certain [man] was sick, [named] Lazarus, of Bethany, the town of Mary and her sister Martha.

2 (It was [that] Mary who anointed the Lord with ointment and wiped his feet with her hair whose brother Lazarus was sick.)

3 Therefore his sisters sent unto him, saying, Lord, behold, he whom thou lovest is sick.

4 When Jesus heard [that], he said, This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God might be glorified thereby.

5 Now Jesus loved Martha and her sister and Lazarus.

6 When he had heard therefore that he was sick, he abode two days still in the same place where he was.

7 Then after that he said to [his] disciples, Let us go into Judea again.

8 [His] disciples said unto him, Rabbi, the Jews of late sought to stone thee, and goest thou there again?

9 Jesus answered, Are there not twelve hours in the day? If anyone walks in the day, he does not stumble because he sees the light of this world.

10 But he who walks in the night stumbles because there is no light in him.

11 Having said that he said unto them, Our friend Lazarus sleeps, but I go that I may awake him out of sleep.

12 Then his disciples said, Lord, if he sleeps, he shall be saved.

13 But Jesus had spoken of his death, and they thought that he had spoken of taking of rest in sleep.

14 Then Jesus said unto them plainly, Lazarus has died.

25 And a [certain] woman, who had an issue of blood twelve years

26 and had suffered many things of many physicians and had spent all that she had and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse;

27 when she had heard of Jesus, came from behind among the multitude and touched his garment.

28 For she said, If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be saved.

29 And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in [her] body that she was healed of that plague.

17 And one of the multitude answering, said, Master, I have brought unto thee my son, who has a dumb spirit;

18 and wherever he takes him, he tears him, and he foams and gnashes with his teeth and pines away; and I spoke to thy disciples that they should cast him out, and they could not.

19 Answering, he said unto him, O unfaithful generation, how long shall I be with you? How long must I suffer you? Bring him unto me.

20 And they brought him unto him; and when he saw him, straightway the spirit tore him; and he fell on the ground and wallowed foaming.

21 And [Jesus] asked his father, How long ago is it since this came unto him? And he said, Of a child.

22 And ofttimes it has cast him into the fire and into the waters to kill him, but if thou canst do any thing, help us, having mercy on us.

23 And Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe this, all things [are] possible to him that believes.

24 And straightway the father of the child crying out with tears, said, Lord, I believe; help thou my unbelief.

25 When Jesus saw that the multitude concurred, he rebuked the unclean spirit, saying unto him, [Thou] dumb and deaf spirit, I command thee, come out of him and enter no more into him.

26 Then the spirit, crying out and rending him sore, came out; and [he] remained as one dead, [insomuch] that many said that he was dead.

27 But Jesus, taking him by the hand, straightened him up; and he arose.

6 But he said this to prove him, for he knew what he would do.

7 Philip answered him, Two hundred denarius of bread is not sufficient for them, that each one of them may take a little.

8 One of his disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter's brother, said unto him,

9 There is a lad here, who has five barley loaves and two small fishes, but what are they among so many?

10 Then Jesus said, Make the men sit down. Now there was much grass in the place. So the men sat down, in number about five thousand.

11 And Jesus took the loaves, and when he had given thanks, he distributed to the disciples and the disciples to those that were sitting down; and likewise of the fishes as much as they desired.

12 When they were filled, he said unto his disciples, Gather up the fragments that remain that nothing be lost.

13 Therefore they gathered [them] together and filled twelve baskets with the fragments of the five barley loaves which were left over from those that had eaten.

18 And, behold, men brought in a bed a man who was paralysed, and they sought [means] to bring him in and to lay [him] before him.

19 And when they could not find any way they might bring him in because of the multitude, they went upon the housetop and let him down through the tiling with [his] couch into the midst before Jesus.

20 And when he saw their faith, he said unto him, Man, thy sins are forgiven thee.

21 And the scribes and the Pharisees began to reason, saying, Who is this who speaks blasphemies? Who can forgive sins, but God alone?

22 Then Jesus, knowing their thoughts [and] answering them said, What reason ye in your hearts?

23 What is easier, to say, Thy sins are forgiven thee, or to say, Rise up and walk?

24 But that ye may know that the Son of man has power upon earth to forgive sins (he said unto the paralytic), I say unto thee, Arise and take up thy couch and go to thine house.

25 And immediately he rose up before them and took up that upon which he lay and departed to his own house, glorifying God.

46 And so they come to Jericho, and as he went out of Jericho with his disciples and a [great] multitude, blind Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus, sat by the highway side begging.

47 And hearing that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out and say, Jesus, [thou] Son of David, have mercy on me.

48 And many told him to be silent, but he cried even more, [Thou] Son of David, have mercy on me.

49 Then Jesus stood still and commanded him to be called. And they call the blind man, saying unto him, Have confidence, rise; he calls thee.

50 He, therefore, casting away his garment, rose and came to Jesus.

51 And Jesus, answering, said unto him, What wilt thou that I should do unto thee? And the blind man said unto him, Master, that I might receive my sight.

52 And Jesus said unto him, Go; thy faith has saved thee. And immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus in the way.:

18 Now in the morning as he returned into the city, he hungered.

19 And when he saw a fig tree in the way, he came to it and found nothing upon it, but leaves only, and said unto it, Let no fruit grow on thee from now on for ever. And then the fig tree withered away.

20 And when the disciples saw [it], they marvelled, saying, How soon is the fig tree withered away!

21 Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith and doubt not, ye shall not only do this to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea, it shall be done.

22 And all things, whatever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.

11 And it came to pass as he went to Jerusalem that he passed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee.

12 And as he entered into a certain village, ten men that were lepers met him, who stood afar off

13 and lifted up their voices and said, Jesus, Master, have mercy on us.

14 When he saw [them], he said unto them, Go show yourselves unto the priests. And it came to pass that as they went, they were cleansed.

15 Then one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back and with a loud voice glorified God

16 and fell down on [his] face at his feet, giving him thanks; and he was a Samaritan.

17 And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where [are] the nine?

18 Were there not found any returning to give glory to God, except this stranger?

19 And he said unto him, Arise, go; thy faith has saved thee.

28 And when he was come to the other side, into the country of the Gergesenes, there met him two possessed with demons, coming out of the tombs, exceeding fierce, so that no man might pass by that way.

29 And, behold, they cried out, saying, What have we to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God? Art thou come here to torment us before the time?

30 And there was a good way off from them a herd of many swine feeding.

31 So the demons besought him, saying, If thou cast us out, suffer us to go away into the herd of swine.

32 And he said unto them, Go. And when they were come out, they went into the herd of swine; and, behold, the whole herd of swine ran violently down a steep place into the sea and perished in the waters.

33 And those that fed them fled and went into the city and told everything and what was befallen to the [ones] possessed of the demons.

34 And, behold, the whole city came out to meet Jesus; and when they saw him, they besought [him] that he would depart out of their borders.:

1 After these things there was a feast of the Jews, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.

2 Now in Jerusalem there is a pool by the sheep [gate], which in Hebrew is called, Bethesda, having five porches.

3 In these lay a great multitude of those who were sick, blind, halt, withered, waiting for the moving of the water.

4 For an angel went down at a certain time into the pool and troubled the water; whosoever then first after the troubling of the water stepped in was made whole of whatever disease he had.

5 And a certain man was there who had an infirmity thirty-eight years.

6 When Jesus saw him lying [there] and knew that he had been now a long time [in that case], he said unto him, Dost thou desire to be made whole?

7 The impotent man answered him, Sir, I have no man when the water is troubled to put me into the pool, but while I am coming, another steps down before me.

8 Jesus said unto him, Rise, take up thy bed, and walk.

9 And immediately the man was made whole and took up his bed and walked, and on that day was the sabbath.

1 In those days, as before, there was a great multitude, and they had nothing to eat; Jesus called his disciples [unto him] and said unto them,

2 I have mercy on the multitude because they have now been with me three days and have nothing to eat;

3 And if I send them away fasting to their own houses, they will faint by the way, for some of them came from afar.

4 And his disciples answered him, From where can anyone satisfy these [men] with bread here in the wilderness?

5 And he asked them, How many loaves have ye? And they said, Seven.

6 And he commanded the multitude to sit down on the ground; and taking the seven loaves and having given thanks, he broke [them] and gave to his disciples to set before [them]; and they set [them] before the multitude.

7 And they also had a few small fishes; and he blessed them and commanded to set them also before [them].

8 So they ate and were filled; and they took up of the broken [food] that was left seven baskets.

9 And those that had eaten were about four thousand; and he dispatched them.

1 And it came to pass that, as the people pressed upon him to hear the word of God, he stood by the lake of Gennesaret

2 and saw two ships that were by [the shore of] the lake, but the fishermen were gone out of them and were washing [their] nets.

3 And he entered into one of the ships, which was Simon's, and prayed him that he would thrust out a little from the land. And he sat down and taught the people out of the ship.

4 Now when he had left speaking, he said unto Simon, Launch out into the deep and let down your nets for a catch.

5 And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night and have taken nothing; nevertheless, at thy word I will let down the net.

6 And when they had done this, they inclosed a great multitude of fishes, and their net was breaking.

7 And they beckoned unto [their] partners, who were in the other ship, that they should come and help them. And they came and filled both the ships, so that they began to sink.

8 When Simon Peter saw [it], he fell down on [his] knees before Jesus, saying, Depart from me, Lord, for I am a sinful man.

9 For he was overcome with fear, and all that [were] with him, at the catch of the fishes which they had taken;

10 and likewise James and John, the sons of Zebedee, who were partners with Simon. And Jesus said unto Simon, Fear not; from now on thou shalt catch men.

11 And when they had brought their ships to land, they forsook all and followed him.

38 And he arose out of the synagogue, and entered into Simon's house. And Simon's wife's mother was taken with a great fever, and they besought him for her.

39 And he stood over her and rebuked the fever, and it left her, and immediately she arose and ministered unto them.

26 And they arrived at the country of the Gadarenes, which is over against Galilee.

1 And he entered again into the synagogue, and there was a man there who had a withered hand.

2 And they watched him, whether he would heal him on the sabbath day, that they might accuse him.

3 So he said unto the man who had the withered hand, Stand forth.

4 And he said unto them, Is it lawful to do good on the sabbath days or to do evil? to save the person or to kill them? But they were silent.

5 And looking round about on them with anger, being grieved for the blindness of their hearts, he said unto the man, Stretch forth thine hand. And he stretched [it] out and his hand was restored whole as the other.

12 And when the day began to wear away, then came the twelve and said unto him, Send the multitude away that they may go into the towns and country round about and lodge and get victuals, for we are here in a desert place.

13 But he said unto them, Give ye them to eat. And they said, We have no more than five loaves and two fishes, unless we should go and buy food for all these people.

14 For they were about five thousand men. And he said to his disciples, Make them sit down in companies of fifty.

15 And they did so and made them all sit down.

16 Then he took the five loaves and the two fishes, and looking up to heaven, he blessed them and broke and gave to the disciples to set before the multitude.

17 And they ate and were all filled, and there was taken up of fragments that remained to them twelve baskets.

49 While he yet spoke, there came one from the ruler of the synagogue's [house], saying to him, Thy daughter is dead; trouble not the Master.

50 But when Jesus heard [it], he answered him, saying, Fear not; only believe, and she shall be made whole.

51 And when he came into the house, he allowed no one to go in except Peter and James and John and the father and the mother of the maiden.

52 And all wept and bewailed her, but he said, Weep not; she is not dead, but sleeps.

53 And they laughed him to scorn, knowing that she was dead.

54 And he put them all out and took her by the hand and called, saying, Maid, arise.

55 Then her spirit returned, and she arose straightway, and he commanded to give her food.

56 And her parents were astonished, but he charged them that they should tell no one what was done.:

32 And as they went out, behold, they brought to him a dumb man possessed with a demon.

33 And when the demon was cast out, the dumb man spoke; and the multitude marvelled, saying, Such a thing has never been seen in Israel.

20 And, behold, a woman who was diseased with an issue of blood twelve years came behind [him] and touched the hem of his garment;

21 for she said within herself, If I may but touch his garment, I shall be free.

22 But Jesus turned around, and when he saw her, he said, Trust, daughter; thy faith has made thee free. And the woman was free from that hour.

25 And in the fourth watch of the night, Jesus went unto them, walking upon the sea.

41 And, behold, there came a man named Jairus, and he was [a] prince of the synagogue, and he fell down at Jesus' feet and besought him that he would come into his house;

42 for he had an only daughter, about twelve years of age, and she lay dying. But as he went, the people thronged him.

48 And he saw them toiling in rowing, for the wind was contrary unto them; and about the fourth watch of the night he came unto them, walking upon the sea, and would have passed by them.

49 But when they saw him walking upon the sea, they supposed it had been a ghost and cried out,

50 For they all saw him and were troubled. And immediately he talked with them and said unto them, Be of good cheer; I AM; be not afraid.

51 And he went up unto them into the ship, and the wind ceased; and they were sore amazed in themselves beyond measure and wondered.

46 So Jesus came again into Cana of Galilee, where he had made the water wine. And there was a certain nobleman whose son was sick at Capernaum.

47 When he heard that Jesus was come out of Judaea into Galilee, he went unto him and besought him that he would come down and heal his son, for he was at the point of death.

48 Then Jesus said unto him, Except ye see signs and wonders, ye will not believe.

49 The nobleman said unto him, Sir, come down before my child dies.

50 Jesus said unto him, Go; thy son lives. And the man believed the word that Jesus spoke unto him, and he went.

51 And as he was now going down, his servants met him and told [him], saying, Thy son lives.

52 Then he enquired of them the hour when he began to get better. And they said unto him, Yesterday at the seventh hour the fever left him.

53 So the father knew that [it was] at the same hour in which Jesus said unto him, Thy son lives; and he believed, and his whole house.

54 This again [is] the second sign [that] Jesus did when he was come out of Judaea into Galilee.:

23 And when he was entered into a ship, his disciples followed him.

24 And, behold, there arose a great moving in the sea, insomuch that the ship was covered with the waves; but he was asleep.

25 And his disciples came to [him] and awoke him, saying, Lord, save us; we perish.

26 And he said unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Then, awake, he rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm.

27 But the men marvelled, saying, What manner of man is this that even the winds and the sea obey him!

14 And he was casting out a demon, and it was dumb. And it came to pass, when the demon was gone out, [the one who had been] dumb spoke; and the people marvelled.

1 And as [Jesus] passed by, he saw a man who was blind from [his] birth.

2 And his disciples asked him, saying, Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?

3 Jesus answered, Neither has this man sinned nor his parents, but that the works of God should be made manifest in him.

4 It is expedient that I do the works of him that sent me while it is day; the night comes, when no one can work.

5 As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.

6 When he had thus spoken, he spat on the ground and made clay of the spittle, and he anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay

7 and said unto him, Go, wash in the pool of Siloam (which is by interpretation, Sent). Then he went and washed and came back seeing.

32 But Peter and those that were with him were heavy with sleep, and when they awoke, they saw his glory and the two men that stood with him.

33 And it came to pass as they departed from him, Peter said unto Jesus, Master, it is good for us to remain here; and let us make three tabernacles: one for thee and one for Moses and one for Elijah, not knowing what he said.
