1 Save me, O God, by thy name, and judge me by thy strength.

2 Hear my prayer, O God; give ear to the words of my mouth.

3 For strangers are risen up against me, and oppressors seek after my soul: they have not set God before them. Selah.

4 Behold, God is mine helper: the Lord is with them that uphold my soul.

5 He shall reward evil unto mine enemies: cut them off in thy truth.

6 I will freely sacrifice unto thee: I will praise thy name, O LORD; for it is good.

7 For he hath delivered me out of all trouble: and mine eye hath seen his desire upon mine enemies.

1 SALVA-ME, ó Deus, pelo teu nome, e faze-me justiça pelo teu poder. 2 Ó Deus, ouve a minha oração, inclina os teus ouvidos às palavras da minha boca. 3 Porque estranhos se levantam contra mim, e tiranos procuram a minha vida: não põem a Deus perante os seus olhos. (Selá.) 4 Eis que Deus é o meu ajudador; o Senhor está com aqueles que sustêm a minha alma. 5 Ele pagará o mal daqueles que me andam espiando: destrói-os por tua verdade. 6 Eu te oferecerei voluntariamente sacrifícios; louvarei o teu nome, ó Senhor, porque é bom, 7 Porque me livrou de toda a angústia; e os meus olhos viram cumprido o meu desejo acerca dos meus inimigos.
