55 Où [est], ô mort, ton aiguillon? où [est], ô sépulcre, ta victoire?

56 Or l'aiguillon de la mort, c'est le péché; et la puissance du péché, c'est la Loi.

57 Mais grâces à Dieu, qui nous a donné la victoire par notre Seigneur Jésus-Christ.

56 The pain of death is sin; and the power of sin is the law:

57 But praise be to God who gives us strength to overcome through our Lord Jesus Christ.
