1 The second lot came for Simeon, even for the tribe of the children of Simeon according to their families: and their inheritance was within the inheritance of the children of Judah.2 Their inheritance included: Beer-sheba, or Sheba, and Moladah,3 Hazarshual, and Balah, and Azem,4 Eltolad, and Bethul, and Hormah,5 Ziklag, and Beth-marcaboth, and Hazar-susah,6 Beth-lebaoth, and Sharuhen; thirteen cities and their villages:7 Ain, Remmon, and Ether, and Ashan; four cities and their villages:8 And all the villages that were near these cities to Baalath-beer, Ramath of the south. This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Simeon according to their families.9 Out of the portion of the children of Judah was the inheritance of the children of Simeon: for the part of the children of Judah was too much for them: therefore the children of Simeon had their inheritance within their inheritance.10 The third lot came up for the children of Zebulun according to their families: and the border of their inheritance was to Sarid:11 Their border went up toward the sea, and Maralah, and reached to Dabbasheth, and reached to the river that is before Jokneam.12 It turned from Sarid eastward toward the sunrising to the border of Chisloth-tabor, and then goes out to Daberath, and goes up to Japhia,13 From there it passed on along on the east to Gittah-hepher, to Ittah-kazin, and goes out to Remmon-methoar to Neah.14 And the border goes around it on the north side to Hannathon: and it ends in the valley of Jipthah-el:15 Kattath, and Nahallal, and Shimron, and Idalah, and Bethlehem: twelve cities with their villages.16 This is the inheritance of the children of Zebulun according to their families, these cities with their villages.17 The fourth lot came out to Issachar, for the children of Issachar according to their families.18 Their border was toward Jezreel, and Chesulloth, and Shunem,19 Hapharaim, and Shion, and Anaharath,20 Rabbith, and Kishion, and Abez,21 Remeth, and En-gannim, and En-haddah, and Beth-pazzez;22 The coast reaches to Tabor, and Shahazimah, and Beth-shemesh; and the border ended at Jordan: sixteen cities with their villages.23 This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Issachar according to their families, the cities and their villages.24 The fifth lot came out for the tribe of the children of Asher according to their families.25 Their border was Helkath, and Hali, and Beten, and Achshaph,26 Alammelech, and Amad, and Misheal; and reached to Carmel westward, and to Shihor-libnath;27 It turned toward the sun rising to Beth-dagon, and reached Zebulun, and to the valley of Jipthah-el toward the north side of Beth-emek, and Neiel, and goes out to Cabul on the left hand,28 Hebron, and Rehob, and Hammon, and Kanah, to great Zidon;29 The boundary turned to Ramah, and to the strong city Tyre; and then the boundary turned to Hosah; it ended at the sea near Achzib.30 Ummah also, and Aphek, and Rehob: twenty-two cities with their villages.31 This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Asher according to their families, these cities with their villages.32 The sixth lot came to the children of Naphtali, even for the children of Naphtali according to their families.33 Their boundary was from Heleph, from Allon to Zaanannim, and Adami, Nekeb, and Jabneel, to Lakum; and it ended at Jordan.34 Then the boundary turned westward to Aznoth-tabor, and goes from there to Hukkok, and reaches to Zebulun on the south side, and reaches to Asher on the west side, and to Judah upon Jordan toward the sunrising.35 The fenced cities are Ziddim, Zer, and Hammath, Rakkath, and Chinnereth,36 Adamah, and Ramah, and Hazor,37 Kedesh, and Edrei, and En-hazor,38 Iron, and Migdal-el, Horem, and Beth-anath, and Beth-shemesh; nineteen cities with their villages.39 This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Naphtali according to their families, the cities and their villages.40 The seventh lot came out for the tribe of the children of Dan according to their families.41 The boundary of their inheritance was Zorah, and Eshtaol, and Ir-shemesh,42 Shaalabbin, and Ajalon, and Jethlah,43 Elon, and Thimnathah, and Ekron,44 Eltekeh, and Gibbethon, and Baalath,45 Jehud, and Bene-berak, and Gath-rimmon,46 And Me-jarkon, and Rakkon, with the border before Japho.47 The boundary of the children of Dan went too little for them: therefore the children of Dan went up to fight against Leshem, put it to the sword and occupied it. They lived there and called Leshem, Dan, after the name of Dan their father.48 This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Dan according to their families, these cities with their villages.49 When they had made an end of dividing the land for inheritance by their boundaries, the children of Israel gave an inheritance to Joshua the son of Nun among them:50 According to the word of Jehovah they gave him the city that he requested, Timnathserah on mount Ephraim: and he built the city, and lived there.51 These are the inheritances, which Eleazar the priest, and Joshua the son of Nun, and the heads of the fathers of the tribes of the children of Israel, divided for an inheritance by lot in Shiloh before Jehovah, at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation. So they finished dividing the country.

Vai o termo da sua herança até Saride;11 sobe para o ocidente até Marala, estende-se até Dabesete, e chega até o ribeiro que está defronte de Jocneão;12 de Saride vira para o oriente, para o nascente do sol, até o termo de Quislote-Tabor, estende-se a Daberate, e vai subindo a Jafia;13 dali passa para o oriente a Gate-Hefer, a Ete-Cazim, chegando a Rimom-Metoar e virando-se para Neá;14 vira ao norte para Hanatom, e chega ao vale de Iftael;15 e Catate, Naalal, Sinrom, Idala e Belém; doze cidades e as suas aldeias.16 Essa é a herança dos filhos de Zebulom, segundo as suas famílias, essas cidades e as suas aldeias.17 A quarta sorte saiu aos filhos de Issacar, segundo as suas famílias.18 Vai o seu termo até Jizreel, Quesulote, Suném.19 Hafaraim, Siom, Anaarate,20 Rabite, Quisiom, Abes,21 Remete, En-Ganim, En-Hada e Bete-Pazez,22 estendendo-se este termo até Tabor, Saazima e Bete-Semes; e vai terminar no Jordão; dezesseis cidades e as suas aldeias.23 Essa é a herança da tribo dos filhos de Issacar, segundo as suas famílias, essas cidades e as suas aldeias.24 Saiu a quinta sorte à tribo dos filhos de Aser, segundo as suas famílias.25 O seu termo inclui Helcate, Hali, Bétem, Acsafe,26 Alameleque, Amade e Misal; estende-se para o ocidente até Carmelo e Sior-Libnate;27 vira para o nascente do sol a Bete-Dagom; chega a Zebulom e ao vale de Iftael para o norte, até Bete-Emeque e Neiel; estende-se pela esquerda até Cabul,28 Ebrom, Reobe, Hamom e Caná, até a grande Sidom;29 vira para Ramá, e para a cidade fortificada de Tiro, desviando-se então para Hosa, donde vai até o mar; Maalabe, Aczibe,30 Umá, Afeca e Reobe; ao todo, vinte e duas cidades e as suas aldeias.31 Essa é a herança da tribo dos filhos de Aser, segundo as suas famílias, essas cidades e as suas aldeias.32 Saiu a sexta sorte aos filhos de Naftali, segundo as suas famílias.33 Vai o seu termo desde Helefe e desde o carvalho em Zaananim, e Adâmi-Nequebe e Jabneel, até Lacum, terminando no Jordão;34 vira para o ocidente até Aznote-Tabor, e dali passa a Hucoque; chega a Zebulom, da banda do sul, e a Aser, da banda do ocidente, e a Judá, à margem do Jordão, para o oriente.35 E são as cidades fortificadas: Zidim, Zer, Hamate, Racate, Quinerete,36 Adama, Ramá, Hazor,37 Quedes, Edrei, En-Hazor,38 Irom, Migdal-El, Horem, Bete-Anate e Bete-Semes; dezenove cidades e as suas aldeias.39 Essa é a herança da tribo dos filhos de Naftali, segundo as suas famílias, essas cidades e as suas aldeias.40 A sétima sorte saiu à tribo dos filhos de Dã, segundo as suas famílias.41 O termo da sua herança inclui: Zorá, Estaol, Ir-Semes,42 Saalabim, Aijalom, Itla,43 Elom, Timnate, Ecrom,44 Elteque, Gibetom, Baalate,45 Jeúde, Bene-Beraque, Gate-Rimom,46 Me-Jarcom e Racom, com o território defronte de Jope.47 Saiu, porém, pequena o território dos filhos de Dã; pelo que os filhos de Dã subiram, pelejaram contra Lesem e a tomaram; feriram-na ao fio da espada, tomaram posse dela e habitaram-na; e a Lesem chamaram Dã, conforme o nome de Dã, seu pai.48 Essa é a herança da tribo dos filhos de Dã, segundo as suas famílias, essas cidades e as suas aldeias.49 Tendo os filhos de Israel acabado de repartir a terra em herança segundo os seus termos, deram a Josué, filho de Num, herança no meio deles.50 Segundo a ordem do Senhor lhe deram a cidade que pediu, Timnate-Sera, na região montanhosa de Efraim; e ele reedificou a cidade, e habitou nela.51 Essas são as heranças que Eleazar, o sacerdote, e Josué, filho de Num, e os cabeças das casas paternas nas tribos dos filhos de Israel repartiram em herança por sorte em Siló, perante o Senhor, à porta da tenda da revelação. E assim acabaram de repartir a terra.
