1 Disse também o Senhor a Moisés:2 "Esta é a regulamentação acerca da purificação de um leproso: ele será levado ao sacerdote,3 que sairá do acampamento e o examinará. Se a pessoa foi curada da lepra,4 o sacerdote ordenará que duas aves puras, vivas, um pedaço de madeira de cedro, um pano vermelho e um ramo de hissopo sejam trazidos em favor daquele que será purificado.5 Então o sacerdote ordenará que uma das aves seja morta numa vasilha de barro com água da fonte.6 Então pegará a ave viva e a molhará, juntamente com o pedaço de madeira de cedro, com o pano vermelho e com o ramo de hissopo, no sangue da ave morta em água corrente.7 Sete vezes ele aspergirá aquele que está sendo purificado da lepra e o declarará puro. Depois soltará a ave viva em campo aberto.8 "Aquele que estiver sendo purificado lavará as suas roupas, rapará todos os seus pêlos e se banhará com água; e assim estará puro. Depois disso poderá entrar no acampamento, mas ficará fora da sua tenda por sete dias.9 No sétimo dia rapará todos os seus pêlos: o cabelo, a barba, as sobrancelhas e o restante dos pêlos. Lavará suas roupas e banhará o corpo com água; então ficará puro.10 "No oitavo dia pegará dois cordeiros sem defeito e uma cordeira de um ano sem defeito, juntamente com três jarros da melhor farinha amassada com óleo, como oferta de cereal, e uma caneca de óleo.11 O sacerdote que faz a purificação apresentará ao Senhor, à entrada da Tenda do Encontro, tanto aquele que estiver para ser purificado como as suas ofertas.12 "Então o sacerdote pegará um dos cordeiros e o sacrificará como oferta pela culpa, juntamente com a caneca de óleo; ele os moverá perante o Senhor como gesto ritual de apresentação e13 matará o cordeiro no Lugar Santo, onde são sacrificados a oferta pelo pecado e o holocausto. Como se dá com a oferta pelo pecado, também a oferta pela culpa pertence ao sacerdote; é santíssima.14 O sacerdote porá um pouco do sangue da oferta pela culpa na ponta da orelha direita daquele que será purificado, no polegar da sua mão direita e no polegar do seu pé direito.15 Então o sacerdote pegará um pouco de óleo da caneca e o derramará na palma da sua própria mão esquerda,16 molhará o dedo direito no óleo que está na palma da mão esquerda, e com o dedo o aspergirá sete vezes perante o Senhor.17 O sacerdote ainda porá um pouco do óleo restante na palma da sua mão, na ponta da orelha direita daquele que está sendo purificado, no polegar da sua mão direita e no polegar do seu pé direito, em cima do sangue da oferta pela culpa.18 O óleo que restar na palma da sua mão, o sacerdote derramará sobre a cabeça daquele que está sendo purificado e fará propiciação por ele perante o Senhor.19 "Então o sacerdote sacrificará a oferta pelo pecado e fará propiciação em favor daquele que está sendo purificado da sua impureza. Depois disso, o sacerdote matará o animal do holocausto20 e o oferecerá sobre o altar, juntamente com a oferta de cereal; e assim fará propiciação pelo ofertante, o qual estará puro.21 "Se, todavia, for alguém pobre, sem recursos para isso, pegará um cordeiro como oferta pela culpa para ser movido para fazer propiciação por ele, juntamente com um jarro da melhor farinha, amassada com óleo, como oferta de cereal; uma caneca de óleo22 e duas rolinhas ou dois pombinhos, os quais ele tenha condições de ofertar, um como oferta pelo pecado e o outro como holocausto.23 "No oitavo dia ele os trará ao sacerdote, para a sua purificação, à entrada da Tenda do Encontro, perante o Senhor.24 O sacerdote pegará o cordeiro da oferta pela culpa, juntamente com uma caneca de óleo, e os moverá perante o Senhor como gesto ritual de apresentação.25 Matará o cordeiro da oferta pela culpa e pegará um pouco do sangue e o porá na ponta da orelha direita daquele que está sendo purificado, no polegar da sua mão direita e no polegar do seu pé direito.26 O sacerdote derramará um pouco do óleo na palma da sua mão esquerda,27 e com o dedo indicador direito aspergirá um pouco do óleo da palma da sua mão esquerda sete vezes perante o Senhor.28 Ele porá o óleo da palma da sua mão nos mesmos lugares em que pôs o sangue da oferta pela culpa: na ponta da orelha direita daquele que está sendo purificado, no polegar da sua mão direita e no polegar do seu pé direito.29 O que restar do óleo na palma da sua mão, o sacerdote derramará sobre a cabeça daquele que está sendo purificado, para fazer propiciação por ele perante o Senhor.30 Depois sacrificará uma das rolinhas ou um dos pombinhos, os quais a pessoa tem condições de ofertar,31 um como oferta pelo pecado e o outro como holocausto, juntamente com a oferta de cereal. Assim o sacerdote fará propiciação perante o Senhor em favor daquele que está sendo purificado".32 Essa é a regulamentação para todo aquele que tem lepra e não tem recursos para fazer a oferta da sua purificação.33 O Senhor disse a Moisés e a Arão:34 "Quando vocês entrarem na terra de Canaã, que lhes dou como propriedade, e eu puser mancha de mofo numa casa, na terra que lhes pertence,35 o dono da casa irá ao sacerdote e dirá: ‘Parece-me que há mancha de mofo em minha casa’.36 Antes de examinar o mofo, o sacerdote ordenará que desocupem a casa para que nada que houver na casa se torne impuro. Depois disso, o sacerdote irá examinar a casa.37 Examinará as manchas nas paredes, e, se elas forem esverdeadas ou avermelhadas e parecerem mais profundas do que a superfície da parede,38 o sacerdote sairá da casa e a deixará fechada por sete dias.39 No sétimo dia voltará para examinar a casa. Se as manchas se houverem espalhado pelas paredes da casa,40 ordenará que as pedras contaminadas pelas manchas sejam retiradas e jogadas num local impuro, fora da cidade.41 Fará que a casa seja raspada por dentro e que o reboco raspado seja jogado num local impuro, fora da cidade.42 Depois colocarão outras pedras no lugar das primeiras, e rebocarão a casa com barro novo.43 "Se as manchas tornarem a alastrar-se na casa depois de retiradas as pedras e de raspada e rebocada a casa,44 o sacerdote irá examiná-la, e, se as manchas se espalharam pela casa, é mofo corrosivo; a casa está impura.45 Ela terá que ser demolida: as pedras, as madeiras e todo o reboco da casa; tudo será levado para um local impuro, fora da cidade.46 "Quem entrar na casa enquanto estiver fechada estará impuro até à tarde.47 Aquele que dormir ou comer na casa terá que lavar as suas roupas.48 "Mas, se o sacerdote for examiná-la e as manchas não se houverem espalhado depois de rebocada a casa, declarará pura a casa, pois as manchas de mofo desapareceram.49 Para purificar a casa, ele pegará duas aves, um pedaço de madeira de cedro, um pano vermelho e hissopo.50 Depois matará uma das aves numa vasilha de barro com água da fonte.51 Então pegará o pedaço de madeira de cedro, o hissopo, o pano vermelho e a ave viva, e os molhará no sangue da ave morta e na água da fonte, e aspergirá a casa sete vezes.52 Ele purificará a casa com o sangue da ave, com a água da fonte, com a ave viva, com o pedaço de madeira de cedro, com o hissopo e com o pano vermelho.53 Depois soltará a ave viva em campo aberto, fora da cidade. Assim fará propiciação pela casa, que ficará pura".54 Essa é a regulamentação acerca de qualquer tipo de lepra, de sarna,55 de mofo nas roupas ou numa casa56 e de inchaço, erupção ou mancha brilhante,57 para se determinar quando uma coisa é pura ou impura. Essa é a regulamentação acerca de qualquer tipo de lepra e de mofo.

1 And LORD spoke to Moses, saying,2 This shall be the law of the man with a leprous disease in the day of his cleansing: He shall be brought to the priest,3 and the priest shall go forth out of the camp. And the priest shall look, and, behold, if a leprous disease be healed in the man with a leprous disease,4 then the priest shall command to take two living clean birds, and cedar wood, and scarlet, and hyssop for him who is to be cleansed.5 And the priest shall command to kill one of the birds in an earthen vessel over running water.6 As for the living bird, he shall take it, and the cedar wood, and the scarlet, and the hyssop, and shall dip them and the living bird in the blood of the bird that was killed over the running water.7 And he shall sprinkle seven times upon him who is to be cleansed from the leprous disease, and shall pronounce him clean, and shall let the living bird go into the open field.8 And he who is to be cleansed shall wash his clothes, and shave off all his hair, and bathe himself in water, and he shall be clean. And after that he shall come into the camp, but shall dwell outside his tent seven days.9 And it shall be on the seventh day, that he shall shave all his hair off his head and his beard and his eyebrows, even all his hair he shall shave off. And he shall wash his clothes, and he shall bathe his flesh in water, and he sh10 And on the eighth day he shall take two he-lambs without blemish, and one ewe-lamb a year old without blemish, and three tenth parts [of an ephah] of fine flour for a meal-offering, mingled with oil, and one log of oil.11 And the priest who cleanses him shall set the man who is to be cleansed, and those things, before LORD, at the door of the tent of meeting.12 And the priest shall take one of the he-lambs, and offer him for a trespass-offering, and the log of oil, and wave them for a wave-offering before LORD.13 And he shall kill the he-lamb in the place where they kill the sin-offering and the burnt-offering, in the place of the sanctuary. For as the sin-offering is the priest's, so is the trespass-offering; it is most holy.14 And the priest shall take of the blood of the trespass-offering, and the priest shall put it upon the tip of the right ear of him who is to be cleansed, and upon the thumb of his right hand, and upon the great toe of his right foot15 And the priest shall take of the log of oil, and pour it into the palm of his own left hand.16 And the priest shall dip his right finger in the oil that is in his left hand, and shall sprinkle of the oil with his finger seven times before LORD.17 And of the rest of the oil that is in his hand the priest shall put upon the tip of the right ear of him who is to be cleansed, and upon the thumb of his right hand, and upon the great toe of his right foot, upon the blood of the t18 And the rest of the oil that is in the priest's hand he shall put upon the head of him who is to be cleansed, and the priest shall make atonement for him before LORD.19 And the priest shall offer the sin-offering, and make atonement for him who is to be cleansed because of his uncleanness, and afterward he shall kill the burnt-offering.20 And the priest shall offer the burnt-offering and the meal-offering upon the altar, and the priest shall make atonement for him, and he shall be clean.21 And if he is poor, and cannot get so much, then he shall take one he-lamb for a trespass-offering to be waved, to make atonement for him, and one tenth part [of an ephah] of fine flour mingled with oil for a meal-offering, and a lo22 and two turtle-doves, or two young pigeons, such as he is able to get, and the one shall be a sin-offering, and the other a burnt-offering.23 And on the eighth day he shall bring them for his cleansing to the priest, to the door of the tent of meeting, before LORD.24 And the priest shall take the lamb of the trespass-offering, and the log of oil, and the priest shall wave them for a wave-offering before LORD.25 And he shall kill the lamb of the trespass-offering. And the priest shall take of the blood of the trespass-offering, and put it upon the tip of the right ear of him who is to be cleansed, and upon the thumb of his right hand, and26 And the priest shall pour of the oil into the palm of his own left hand.27 And the priest shall sprinkle with his right finger some of the oil that is in his left hand seven times before LORD.28 And the priest shall put of the oil that is in his hand upon the tip of the right ear of him who is to be cleansed, and upon the thumb of his right hand, and upon the great toe of his right foot, upon the place of the blood of the29 And the rest of the oil that is in the priest's hand he shall put upon the head of him who is to be cleansed, to make atonement for him before LORD.30 And he shall offer one of the turtle-doves, or of the young pigeons, such as he is able to get,31 even such as he is able to get, the one for a sin-offering, and the other for a burnt-offering, with the meal-offering, and the priest shall make atonement for him who is to be cleansed before LORD.32 This is the law of him in whom is a leprous disease, who is not able to get [what pertains] to his cleansing.33 And LORD spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying,34 When ye have come into the land of Canaan, which I give to you for a possession, and I put a leprous disease in a house of the land of your possession,35 then he who owns the house shall come and tell the priest, saying, There seems to me to be as it were a disease in the house.36 And the priest shall command that they empty the house before the priest goes in to see the disease, that all that is in the house not be made unclean. And afterward the priest shall go in to see the house,37 and he shall look on the disease. And, behold, if the disease is in the walls of the house with hollow streaks, greenish or reddish, and the appearance of it is lower than the wall [surface],38 then the priest shall go out of the house to the door of the house, and shut up the house seven days.39 And the priest shall come again the seventh day, and shall look. And, behold, if the disease be spread in the walls of the house,40 then the priest shall command that they take out the stones in which the disease is, and cast them into an unclean place outside the city.41 And he shall cause the house to be scraped inside round about, and they shall pour out the mortar, that they scrape off, outside the city into an unclean place.42 And they shall take other stones, and put them in the place of those stones. And he shall take other mortar, and shall plaster the house.43 And if the disease comes again, and breaks out in the house, after he has taken out the stones, and after he has scraped the house, and after it is plastered,44 then the priest shall come in and look. And, behold, if the disease be spread in the house, it is a fretting leprosy in the house; it is unclean.45 And he shall break down the house, the stones of it, and the timber of it, and all the mortar of the house, and he shall carry them forth out of the city into an unclean place.46 Moreover he who goes into the house all the while that it is shut up shall be unclean until the evening.47 And he who lays in the house shall wash his clothes. And he who eats in the house shall wash his clothes.48 And if the priest shall come in, and look, and, behold, the disease has not spread in the house after the house was plastered, then the priest shall pronounce the house clean, because the disease is healed.49 And he shall take two birds, and cedar wood, and scarlet, and hyssop to cleanse the house.50 And he shall kill one of the birds in an earthen vessel over running water.51 And he shall take the cedar wood, and the hyssop, and the scarlet, and the living bird, and dip them in the blood of the slain bird, and in the running water, and sprinkle the house seven times.52 And he shall cleanse the house with the blood of the bird, and with the running water, and with the living bird, and with the cedar wood, and with the hyssop, and with the scarlet,53 but he shall let the living bird go out of the city into the open field. So he shall make atonement for the house, and it shall be clean.54 This is the law for all manner of a leprous disease, and for a scall,55 and for a leprous disease of a garment, and for a house,56 and for a rising, and for a scab, and for a bright spot,57 to teach when it is unclean, and when it is clean. This is the law of a leprous disease.
