Neemias 10

1 Esta é a relação dos que o assinaram:

Neemias, o governador, filho de Hacalias.

3 Pasur, Amarias, Malquias,

4 Hatus, Sebanias, Maluque,

5 Harim, Meremote, Obadias,

6 Daniel, Ginetom, Baruque,

7 Mesulão, Abias, Miamim,

8 Maazias, Bilgai e Semaías.

Estes eram os sacerdotes.

9 Dos levitas:

Jesua, filho de Azanias, Binui, dos filhos de Henadade, Cadmiel

10 e os seus parentes: Sebanias,

Hodias, Quelita, Pelaías, Hanã,

11 Mica, Reobe, Hasabias,

12 Zacur, Serebias, Sebanias,

13 Hodias, Bani e Beninu.

14 Dos líderes do povo:

Parós, Paate-Moabe, Elão, Zatu, Bani,

15 Buni, Azgade, Bebai,

16 Adonias, Bigvai, Adim,

17 Ater, Ezequias, Azur,

18 Hodias, Hasum, Besai,

19 Harife, Anatote, Nebai,

20 Magpias, Mesulão, Hezir,

21 Mesezabel, Zadoque, Jadua,

22 Pelatias, Hanã, Anaías,

23 Oseias, Hananias, Hassube,

26 Aías, Hanã, Anã,

27 Maluque, Harim e Baaná.

28 — O restante do povo — sacerdotes, levitas, porteiros, cantores, servidores do templo e todos os que se separaram dos povos daquelas terras por amor à lei de Deus, com as suas mulheres e com todos os seus filhos e filhas com idade suficiente para discernir — 29 agora se une aos seus irmãos, os nobres, e se obrigam, sob maldição e com juramento, a seguir a lei de Deus dada por meio de Moisés, servo de Deus, e a obedecer fielmente a todos os mandamentos, ordenanças e estatutos do Senhor, o nosso Senhor.

30 — Prometemos não dar as nossas filhas em casamento aos povos desta terra nem aceitar que as filhas deles se casem com os nossos filhos.

31 — Quando os povos desta terra trouxerem mercadorias ou cereal para vender no sábado ou em dia de festa sagrada, não compraremos deles nesses dias. A cada sete anos, abriremos mão de trabalhar a terra e cancelaremos todas as dívidas.

32 — Assumimos a responsabilidade de, conforme o mandamento, dar anualmente um terço de siclo*10.32 Isto é, cerca de 4 gramas. para o serviço do templo do nosso Deus: 33 para o pão consagrado, para as ofertas regulares de cereal e para os holocaustos,*10.33 Isto é, sacrifícios totalmente queimados. para as ofertas dos sábados, das Festas da Lua Nova e das festas fixas, para as ofertas sagradas, para as ofertas pelo pecado a fim de fazer expiação por Israel e para as necessidades do templo do nosso Deus.

34 — Também lançamos sortes entre as famílias dos sacerdotes, dos levitas e do povo, para escalar anualmente a família que deverá trazer lenha ao templo do nosso Deus, no tempo determinado, para queimar sobre o altar do Senhor, o nosso Deus, conforme está escrito na lei.

35 — Também assumimos a responsabilidade de trazer anualmente ao templo do Senhor os primeiros frutos das nossas colheitas e de toda árvore frutífera.

36 — Conforme também está escrito na lei, traremos o primogênito dos nossos filhos e a primeira cria dos nossos rebanhos, tanto de bois como de ovelhas, para o templo do nosso Deus, para os sacerdotes que ali estiverem ministrando.

37 — Além do mais, traremos para os depósitos do templo do nosso Deus, para os sacerdotes, a nossa primeira massa de cereal moído e as nossas primeiras ofertas de cereal, do fruto de todas as nossas árvores e do nosso vinho e azeite. Traremos o dízimo das nossas colheitas para os levitas, pois são eles que recolhem os dízimos em todas as cidades onde trabalhamos. 38 O sacerdote descendente de Arão acompanhará os levitas quando receberem os dízimos, e os levitas terão que trazer um décimo dos dízimos ao templo do nosso Deus, aos depósitos do templo. 39 O povo de Israel, até mesmo os levitas, deverão trazer ofertas de cereal, de vinho novo e de azeite aos depósitos onde se guardam os utensílios para o santuário. É onde os sacerdotes ministram e onde os porteiros e os cantores ficam.

— Não negligenciaremos o templo do nosso Deus.

1 Now those that sealed were: Nehemiah the governor, the son of Hacaliah, and Zedekiah, 2 Seraiah, Azariah, Jeremiah, 3 Pashhur, Amariah, Malchijah, 4 Hattush, Shebaniah, Malluch, 5 Harim, Meremoth, Obadiah, 6 Daniel, Ginnethon, Baruch, 7 Meshullam, Abijah, Mijamin, 8 Maaziah, Bilgai, Shemaiah; these were the priests. 9 And the Levites: namely, Jeshua the son of Azaniah, Binnui of the sons of Henadad, Kadmiel; 10 and their brethren, Shebaniah, Hodiah, Kelita, Pelaiah, Hanan, 11 Mica, Rehob, Hashabiah, 12 Zaccur, Sherebiah, Shebaniah, 13 Hodiah, Bani, Beninu. 14 The chiefs of the people: Parosh, Pahath-moab, Elam, Zattu, Bani, 15 Bunni, Azgad, Bebai, 16 Adonijah, Bigvai, Adin, 17 Ater, Hezekiah, Azzur, 18 Hodiah, Hashum, Bezai, 19 Hariph, Anathoth, Nobai, 20 Magpiash, Meshullam, Hezir, 21 Meshezabel, Zadok, Jaddua, 22 Pelatiah, Hanan, Anaiah, 23 Hoshea, Hananiah, Hasshub, 24 Hallohesh, Pilha, Shobek, 25 Rehum, Hashabnah, Maaseiah, 26 and Ahiah, Hanan, Anan, 27 Malluch, Harim, Baanah.

28 And the rest of the people, the priests, the Levites, the porters, the singers, the Nethinim, and all they that had separated themselves from the peoples of the lands unto the law of God, their wives, their sons, and their daughters, every one that had knowledge, and understanding; 29 they clave to their brethren, their nobles, and entered into a curse, and into an oath, to walk in God’s law, which was given by Moses the servant of God, and to observe and do all the commandments of Jehovah our Lord, and his ordinances and his statutes; 30 and that we would not give our daughters unto the peoples of the land, nor take their daughters for our sons; 31 and if the peoples of the land bring wares or any grain on the sabbath day to sell, that we would not buy of them on the sabbath, or on a holy day; and that we would forego the seventh year, and the exaction of every debt.

32 Also we made ordinances for us, to charge ourselves yearly with the third part of a shekel for the service of the house of our God; 33 for the showbread, and for the continual meal-offering, and for the continual burnt-offering, for the sabbaths, for the new moons, for the set feasts, and for the holy things, and for the sin-offerings to make atonement for Israel, and for all the work of the house of our God. 34 And we cast lots, the priests, the Levites, and the people, for the wood-offering, to bring it into the house of our God, according to our fathers’ houses, at times appointed, year by year, to burn upon the altar of Jehovah our God, as it is written in the law; 35 and to bring the first-fruits of our ground, and the first-fruits of all fruit of all manner of trees, year by year, unto the house of Jehovah; 36 also the first-born of our sons, and of our cattle, as it is written in the law, and the firstlings of our herds and of our flocks, to bring to the house of our God, unto the priests that minister in the house of our God; 37 and that we should bring the first-fruits of our dough, and our heave-offerings, and the fruit of all manner of trees, the new wine and the oil, unto the priests, to the chambers of the house of our God; and the tithes of our ground unto the Levites; for they, the Levites, take the tithes in all the cities of our tillage. 38 And the priest the son of Aaron shall be with the Levites, when the Levites take tithes: and the Levites shall bring up the tithe of the tithes unto the house of our God, to the chambers, into the treasure-house. 39 For the children of Israel and the children of Levi shall bring the heave-offering of the grain, of the new wine, and of the oil, unto the chambers, where are the vessels of the sanctuary, and the priests that minister, and the porters, and the singers: and we will not forsake the house of our God.
