Salmo de David.

1 Senhor, quem pode achar refúgio no teu tabernáculo

e ficar contigo no teu santo monte?

2 Certamente aquele que anda em retidão,

que pratica a justiça e que fala verdade.

3 Aquele que não calunia os outros,

que respeita o próximo

e não dá ouvidos à maledicência.

4 Aquele que sabe censurar quem pratica o pecado,

mas que honra os que temem o Senhor;

também aquele que cumpre as promessa que faz;

ainda que fique prejudicado, nada o fará mudar de ideias.

5 Aquele que ajuda os pobres,

sem esperar pesados serviços em recompensa;

que recusa receber subornos contra o inocente.

Quem assim procede permanecerá firme para sempre.

1 LORD, who shall abide in thy tabernacle? who shall dwell in thy holy hill?*15.1 abide: Heb. sojourn

2 He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart.

3 He that backbiteth not with his tongue, nor doeth evil to his neighbour, nor taketh up a reproach against his neighbour.*15.3 taketh…: or, receiveth, or, endureth

4 In whose eyes a vile person is contemned; but he honoureth them that fear the LORD. He that sweareth to his own hurt, and changeth not.

5 He that putteth not out his money to usury, nor taketh reward against the innocent. He that doeth these things shall never be moved.
