Dá-os aos levitas para aquilo de que tiverem necessidade.6 Moisés deu os carros e os bois aos levitas. Dois carros e quatro bois foram dados ao grupo de Gerson, para o serviço deles; para o de Merari, sob a chefia de Itamar, filho de Arão, foram dados quatro carros e oito bois. Ao grupo de Coate não foi dado nenhum carro, nem nenhuma parelha de bois, porque esses foram designados para transportarem sobre os ombros o que lhe competia do tabernáculo.10 Os chefes também apresentaram ofertas de consagração no dia em que o altar foi ungido, e colocaram-nas perante o altar. O Senhor disse a Moisés: Que cada um deles traga os seus donativos para a consagração do altar, em dias diferentes.12 Assim Nassom, filho de Aminadabe, da tribo de Judá, trouxe a sua oferta no primeiro dia. Trouxe também uma pequena caixa de ouro cheia de incenso, pesando cerca de 170 gramas. Além disso veio com um novilho, um carneiro, um cordeiro de um ano para holocausto e ainda um bode para a expiação de pecado. Para o sacrifício de paz: dois bois, cinco carneiros, cinco bodes e cinco cordeiros de um ano.18 No dia seguinte foi a vez de Netanel, filho de Zuar, chefe de tribo de Issacar; este trouxe, como dons e ofertas, exactamente o mesmo que o precedente, Nassom, que viera no dia anterior .24 No terceiro dia Eliabe, filho de Helom, chefe da tribo de Zebulão, veio igualmente com as suas ofertas, e que eram também as mesmas que as dos outros.30 Seguiu-se Elizur, filho de Sedeur, chefe da tribo de Rúben; era o quarto dia, e ofereceu a mesma coisa .36 No dia seguinte, o quinto, foi a vez de Selumiel, filho de Zurisadai, chefe da tribo de Simeão, que se apresentou também com os mesmos dons .42 No dia seguinte veio Eliasafe, filho de Deuel, chefe da tribo de Gad. Também este trouxe o mesmo que os outros anteriores .48 No sétimo dia foi Elisama, filho de Amiude, chefe da tribo de Efraim, que veio com idênticas ofertas .54 Gamaliel, filho de Pedazur, chefe da tribo de Manassés, veio no oitavo dia com as mesmas dádivas .60 Seguidamente chegou-se - era o nono dia - Abidã, filho de Gideoni, chefe da tribo de Benjamim. Vinha com ofertas iguais às dos outros .66 Alezer, filho de Amisadai, chefe da tribo de Dan, trouxe os seus presentes - sempre os mesmos - no décimo dia .72 Foi depois a vez de Pagiel, filho de Ocrã, chefe da tribo de Aser, e trouxe, no décimo primeiro dia, as suas dádivas iguais às dos outros .78 E por fim, tendo chegado o décimo segundo dia, apresentou-se Airá, filho de Enã, chefe da tribo de Naftali, trazendo consigo as ofertas de sempre .84 E assim, no começo do dia em que o altar foi ungido, fez-se a sua consagração com estes dons dos chefes das tribos de Israel. both of them full of fine flour mingled with oil for a meat-offering:44 One golden spoon of ten shekels, full of incense:45 One young bullock, one ram, one lamb of the first year, for a burnt-offering:46 One kid of the goats for a sin-offering:47 And for a sacrifice of peace-offerings, two oxen, five rams, five he-goats, five lambs of the first year: this was the offering of Eliasaph the son of Deuel.48 On the seventh day Elishama the son of Ammihud, prince of the children of Ephraim, offered:49 His offering was one silver charger, the weight of which was a hundred and thirty shekels, one silver bowl of seventy shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary; both of them full of fine flour mingled with oil for a meat-offering:50 One golden spoon of ten shekels, full of incense:51 One young bullock, one ram, one lamb of the first year, for a burnt-offering:52 One kid of the goats for a sin-offering:53 And for a sacrifice of peace-offerings, two oxen, five rams, five he-goats, five lambs of the first year: this was the offering of Elishama the son of Ammihud.54 On the eighth day offered Gamaliel the son of Pedahzur, prince of the children of Manasseh:55 His offering was one silver charger of the weight of a hundred and thirty shekels, one silver bowl of seventy shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary; both of them full of fine flour mingled with oil for a meat-offering:56 One golden spoon of ten shekels, full of incense:57 One young bullock, one ram, one lamb of the first year, for a burnt-offering:58 One kid of the goats for a sin-offering:59 And for a sacrifice of peace-offerings, two oxen, five rams, five he-goats, five lambs of the first year: this was the offering of Gamaliel the son of Pedahzur.60 On the ninth day Abidan the son of Gideoni, prince of the children of Benjamin, offered:61 His offering was one silver charger, the weight of which was a hundred and thirty shekels, one silver bowl of seventy shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary; both of them full of fine flour mingled with oil for a meat-offering:62 One golden spoon of ten shekels, full of incense:63 One young bullock, one ram, one lamb of the first year, for a burnt-offering:64 One kid of the goats for a sin-offering:65 And for a sacrifice of peace-offerings, two oxen, five rams, five he-goats, five lambs of the first year: this was the offering of Abidan the son of Gideoni.66 On the tenth day Ahiezer the son of Ammishaddai, prince of the children of Dan, offered:67 His offering was one silver charger, the weight of which was a hundred and thirty shekels, one silver bowl of seventy shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary; both of them full of fine flour mingled with oil for a meat-offering:68 One golden spoon of ten shekels, full of incense:69 One young bullock, one ram, one lamb of the first year, for a burnt-offering:70 One kid of the goats for a sin-offering:71 And for a sacrifice of peace-offerings, two oxen, five rams, five he-goats, five lambs of the first year: this was the offering of Ahiezer the son of Ammishaddai.72 On the eleventh day Pagiel the son of Ocran, prince of the children of Asher, offered:73 His offering was one silver charger, the weight of which was a hundred and thirty shekels, one silver bowl of seventy shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary; both of them full of fine flour mingled with oil for a meat-offering:74 One golden spoon of ten shekels, full of incense:75 One young bullock, one ram, one lamb of the first year, for a burnt-offering:76 One kid of the goats for a sin-offering:77 And for a sacrifice of peace-offerings, two oxen, five rams, five he-goats, five lambs of the first year: this was the offering of Pagiel the son of Ocran.78 On the twelfth day Ahira the son of Enan, prince of the children of Naphtali, offered:79 His offering was one silver charger, the weight of which was a hundred and thirty shekels, one silver bowl of seventy shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary; both of them full of fine flour mingled with oil for a meat-offering:80 One golden spoon of ten shekels, full of incense:81 One young bullock, one ram, one lamb of the first year, for a burnt-offering:82 One kid of the goats for a sin-offering:83 And for a sacrifice of peace-offerings, two oxen, five rams, five he-goats, five lambs of the first year: this was the offering of Ahira the son of Enan.84 This was the dedication of the altar (in the day when it was anointed) by the princes of Israel: twelve chargers of silver, twelve silver bowls, twelve spoons of gold:85 Each charger of silver weighing a hundred and thirty shekels, each bowl seventy: all the silver vessels weighed two thousand and four hundred shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary:86 The golden spoons were twelve, full of incense, weighing ten shekels apiece, after the shekel of the sanctuary: all the gold of the spoons was a hundred and twenty shekels.87 All the oxen for the burnt-offering were twelve bullocks, the rams twelve, the lambs of the first year twelve, with their meat-offering: and the kids of the goats for sin-offering, twelve.88 And all the oxen for the sacrifice of the peace-offerings were twenty and four bullocks, the rams sixty, the he-goats sixty, the lambs of the first year sixty. This was the dedication of the altar, after it was anointed.89 And when Moses had entered into the tabernacle of the congregation to speak with him, then he heard the voice of one speaking to him from off the mercy-seat that was upon the ark of testimony, from between the two cherubim: and he spoke to him.
