1 For the rest, my brethrenrejoice in the Lord. To be writing, the same things, unto you, to me, is not irksome, while, for you, is safe:2 Beware of the dogs, beware of mischievous workers, beware of the mutilation;3 For, we, are the circumcision, who in the Spirit of God, are doing divine service, and are boasting in Christ Jesus, and, not in flesh, having confidence,4 Although, indeed, I, might have confidence even in flesh. If any other thinketh to have confidence in flesh, I, more:5 Circumcised, the eighth day, of the race of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew of Hebrews,regarding law, a Pharisee,6 Regarding zeal, persecuting the assembly, regarding the righteousness that is in law, having become blameless.7 But, whatever things, unto me, were gain, the same, have I accounted, for the Christs sake, loss;8 Yea, doubtless! and I account all things to be, loss, because of the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for the sake of whom, the loss, of all things, have I suffered, and do account them refuse, in order that, Christ, I may win,9 And be found in himnot having a righteousness of my own, that which is by law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is, of God, upon my faith,10 To get to know him, and the power of his resurrection and fellowship of his sufferings, becoming conformed unto his death,11 If by any means I may advance to the earlier resurrection, which is from among the dead:12 Not that I have, already, received, or have, already, reached perfection, but I am pressing onif I may even lay hold of that for which I have also been laid hold of by Christ Jesus :13 Brethren! I, as to myself, reckon that I have, not yet, laid hold; one thing, however,the things behind, forgetting, and, unto the things before, eagerly reaching out,14 With the goal in view, I press on for the prize of the upward calling of God in Christ Jesus.15 As many, therefore, as are full-grown, let, this, be our resolve; and, if, somewhat differently, ye are resolved, this, also, shall, God, unto you reveal.16 Nevertheless, whereunto we have advanced, in the same rank, stepping along.17 Imitators together of me, become ye, brethren, and keep an eye on them who, thus, are walking,even as ye have, us, for, an ensample.18 For, many, are walkingof whom I have often been telling you, and, now, even weeping, am telling,the enemies of the cross of the Christ;19 Whose, end, is destruction, whose, God, is the belly, and , glory, is in their shame, who, upon the earthly things, are resolved.20 For, our citizenship, in the heavens, hath its rise; wherefore, a Saviour also, do we ardently await,The Lord Jesus Christ,21 Who will transfigure our humbled body, into conformity with his glorified body, according to the energy wherewith he is able even to subdue, unto himself, all things.

1 Resta, irmãos meus, que vos regozijeis no Senhor. Não me aborreço de escrever-vos as mesmas coisas, e é segurança para vós.

2 Guardai-vos dos cães, guardai-vos dos maus obreiros, guardai-vos da circuncisão! 3 Porque a circuncisão somos nós, que servimos a Deus no Espírito, e nos gloriamos em Jesus Cristo, e não confiamos na carne. 4 Ainda que também podia confiar na carne; se algum outro cuida que pode confiar na carne, ainda mais eu: 5 circuncidado ao oitavo dia, da linhagem de Israel, da tribo de Benjamim, hebreu de hebreus; segundo a lei, fui fariseu, 6 segundo o zelo, perseguidor da igreja; segundo a justiça que há na lei, irrepreensível. 7 Mas o que para mim era ganho reputei-o perda por Cristo. 8 E, na verdade, tenho também por perda todas as coisas, pela excelência do conhecimento de Cristo Jesus, meu Senhor; pelo qual sofri a perda de todas estas coisas e as considero como esterco, para que possa ganhar a Cristo 9 e seja achado nele, não tendo a minha justiça que vem da lei, mas a que vem pela fé em Cristo, a saber, a justiça que vem de Deus, pela fé; 10 para conhecê-lo, e a virtude da sua ressurreição, e a comunicação de suas aflições, sendo feito conforme a sua morte; 11 para ver se, de alguma maneira, eu possa chegar à ressurreição dos mortos.

12 Não que já a tenha alcançado ou que seja perfeito; mas prossigo para alcançar aquilo para o que fui também preso por Cristo Jesus. 13 Irmãos, quanto a mim, não julgo que o haja alcançado; mas uma coisa faço, e é que, esquecendo-me das coisas que atrás ficam e avançando para as que estão diante de mim, 14 prossigo para o alvo, pelo prêmio da soberana vocação de Deus em Cristo Jesus. 15 Pelo que todos quantos já somos perfeitos sintamos isto mesmo; e, se sentis alguma coisa doutra maneira, também Deus vo-lo revelará. 16 Mas, naquilo a que já chegamos, andemos segundo a mesma regra e sintamos o mesmo.

17 Sede também meus imitadores, irmãos, e tende cuidado, segundo o exemplo que tendes em nós, pelos que assim andam. 18 Porque muitos há, dos quais muitas vezes vos disse e agora também digo, chorando, que são inimigos da cruz de Cristo. 19 O fim deles é a perdição, o deus deles é o ventre, e a glória deles é para confusão deles mesmos, que só pensam nas coisas terrenas. 20 Mas a nossa cidade está nos céus, donde também esperamos o Salvador, o Senhor Jesus Cristo, 21 que transformará o nosso corpo abatido, para ser conforme o seu corpo glorioso, segundo o seu eficaz poder de sujeitar também a si todas as coisas.
