1 So then, my brethren, beloved and longed for, my joy and crown,thus, stand fast in the Lord, beloved.2 Euodia, I exhort, and, Syntche, I exhort,on the same thing, to be resolved in the Lord:3 Yea! I request thee also, true yokefellow, be thou helping together with these women,who, indeed, in the joyful message, have maintained the combat with me, along with Clement also, and the rest of my fellow-workers, whose names, are in the book of life.4 Rejoice in the Lord always: again, I will sayrejoice!5 Let, your considerateness, be known unto all men. The Lord, is near:6 For nothing, be anxious, but, in everything, by your prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let, your petitions, be made known unto God;7 And, the peace of God, which riseth above every mind, shall guard your hearts and your thoughts, in Christ Jesus.8 For the rest, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are dignified, whatsoever things are righteous, whatsoever things are chaste, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report,if there be any virtue, and if any praise, the same, be taking into account;9 The things which ye have both learned, and accepted, and heard, and seen in me, the same, practise;and, the God of peace, shall be with you.10 Howbeit I have been made to rejoice in the Lord greatlythat, now, at length, ye have flourished in your care for me,although, indeed, ye were caring, but lacked opportunity.11 Not that, as to coming short, I am speaking, for, I, have learned, in whatsoever circumstances I am, to be, independent:12 I know to have more than enough,in every way, and in all things, have I been let into the secretboth to be well fed, and to be hungering, both to have more than enough, and to be coming short:13 I have might, for all things, in him that empowereth me.14 Nevertheless, nobly, have ye done, in taking fellowship with me in my tribulation.15 Ye know, moreover, even ye, Philippians,that, in the beginning of the glad-message, when I went forth from Macedonia, not, so much as one assembly, with me had fellowshipin the matter of giving and receivingsave, ye alone,16 That, even in Thessalonica, both once and again, unto my need, ye sent:17 Not that I seek after the gift, but I seek after the fruit that is to abound unto your account.18 But I have all things in full, and have more than enough, I am filled, having welcomed from Epaphroditus the things that came from you,a fragrance of sweet smell, an acceptable sacrifice, well pleasing unto God.19 And, my God, will fill up your every need, according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.20 Now, unto our God and Father, be the gloryunto the ages of ages. Amen!21 Salute ye every saint in Christ Jesus. The brethren who are with me, salute you.22 All the saints salute you, but especially they who are of Caesars household.23 The favour of our Lord Jesus Christ, be with your spirit.

1 Portanto, meus amados e mui queridos irmãos, minha alegria e coroa, estai assim firmes no Senhor, amados.

2 Rogo a Evódia e rogo a Síntique que sintam o mesmo no Senhor. 3 E peço-te também a ti, meu verdadeiro companheiro, que ajudes essas mulheres que trabalharam comigo no evangelho, e com Clemente, e com os outros cooperadores, cujos nomes estão no livro da vida. 4 Regozijai-vos, sempre, no Senhor; outra vez digo: regozijai-vos. 5 Seja a vossa equidade notória a todos os homens. Perto está o Senhor. 6 Não estejais inquietos por coisa alguma; antes, as vossas petições sejam em tudo conhecidas diante de Deus, pela oração e súplicas, com ação de graças. 7 E a paz de Deus, que excede todo o entendimento, guardará os vossos corações e os vossos sentimentos em Cristo Jesus.

8 Quanto ao mais, irmãos, tudo o que é verdadeiro, tudo o que é honesto, tudo o que é justo, tudo o que é puro, tudo o que é amável, tudo o que é de boa fama, se há alguma virtude, e se há algum louvor, nisso pensai. 9 O que também aprendestes, e recebestes, e ouvistes, e vistes em mim, isso fazei; e o Deus de paz será convosco.

10 Ora, muito me regozijei no Senhor por, finalmente, reviver a vossa lembrança de mim; pois já vos tínheis lembrado, mas não tínheis tido oportunidade. 11 Não digo isto como por necessidade, porque já aprendi a contentar-me com o que tenho. 12 Sei estar abatido e sei também ter abundância; em toda a maneira e em todas as coisas, estou instruído, tanto a ter fartura como a ter fome, tanto a ter abundância como a padecer necessidade. 13 Posso todas as coisas naquele que me fortalece.

14 Todavia, fizestes bem em tomar parte na minha aflição. 15 E bem sabeis também vós, ó filipenses, que, no princípio do evangelho, quando parti da Macedônia, nenhuma igreja comunicou comigo com respeito a dar e a receber, senão vós somente. 16 Porque também, uma e outra vez, me mandastes o necessário a Tessalônica. 17 Não que procure dádivas, mas procuro o fruto que aumente a vossa conta. 18 Mas bastante tenho recebido e tenho abundância; cheio estou, depois que recebi de Epafrodito o que da vossa parte me foi enviado, como cheiro de suavidade e sacrifício agradável e aprazível a Deus. 19 O meu Deus, segundo as suas riquezas, suprirá todas as vossas necessidades em glória, por Cristo Jesus. 20 Ora, a nosso Deus e Pai seja dada glória para todo o sempre. Amém!

21 Saudai a todos os santos em Cristo Jesus. Os irmãos que estão comigo vos saúdam. 22 Todos os santos vos saúdam, mas principalmente os que são da casa de César.

23 A graça de nosso Senhor Jesus Cristo seja com vós todos. Amém!
