Be not led astray; evil communications corrupt good manners;
And the fruit of the Spirit is: Love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faith,
meekness, temperance: against such there is no law;
therefore, then, as we have opportunity, may we work the good to all, and especially unto those of the household of the faith.
and become one to another kind, tender-hearted , forgiving one another, according as also God in Christ did forgive you .
in like manner also the women, in becoming apparel, with modesty and sobriety to adorn themselves, not in braided hair, or gold, or pearls, or garments of great price,
but -- which becomes women professing godly piety -- through good works.
nor do they light a lamp, and put it under the measure, but on the lamp-stand, and it shines to all those in the house;
so let your light shine before men, that they may see your good works, and may glorify your Father whois in the heavens.
5 And this same also -- all diligence having brought in besides, superadd in your faith the worthiness, and in the worthiness the knowledge,
6 and in the knowledge the temperance, and in the temperance the endurance, and in the endurance the piety,
7 and in the piety the brotherly kindness, and in the brotherly kindness the love;
All things to me are lawful, but all things are not profitable; all things to me are lawful, but all things do not build up;
and who is he who will be doing you evil, if of Him who is good you may become imitators?
be you therefore merciful, as also your Father is merciful.
who did give himself for us, that he might ransom us from all lawlessness, and might purify to himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works;
Be not overcome by the evil, but overcome, in the good, the evil.
The love unfeigned: abhorring the evil; cleaving to the good;
Let no corrupt word out of your mouth go forth, but what is good unto the needful building up, that it may give grace to the hearers;
and God is able all grace to cause to abound to you, that in every thing always all sufficiency having, you may abound to every good work,
