him, whose presence is according to the working of the Adversary, in all power, and signs, and lying wonders,
We have known that every one who has been begotten of God does not sin, but he who was begotten of God does keep himself, and the evil one does not touch him;
we have known that of God we are, and the whole world in the evil does lie;
be subject, then, to God; stand up against the devil, and he will flee from you;
to open their eyes, to turnthem from darkness to light, and from the authority of the Adversary unto God, for their receiving forgiveness of sins, and a lot among those having been sanctified, by faith that is toward me.
Be sober, vigilant, because your opponent the devil, as a roaring lion, does walk about, seeking whom he may swallow up,
Every one hearing the word of the reign, and not understanding -- the evil one does come, and does catch that which has been sown in his heart; this is that sown by the way.
'You are of a father -- the devil, and the desires of your father you will to do; he was a man-slayer from the beginning, and in the truth he has not stood, because there is no truth in him; when one may speak the falsehood, of his own he speaks, because he is a liar -- also his father.
and no wonder -- for even the Adversary does transform himself into a messenger of light;
I will no more talk much with you, for the ruler of this world does come, and in me he has nothing;
and the Devil, who is leading them astray, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where are the beast and the false prophet, and they shall be tormented day and night -- to the ages of the ages.
Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, and the truth, and the life, no one does come unto the Father, if not through me;
and the field is the world, and the good seed, these are the sons of the reign, and the darnel are the sons of the evil one,
and the enemy who sowed them is the devil, and the harvest is a full end of the age, and the reapers are messengers.
in whom the god of this age did blind the minds of the unbelieving, that there does not shine forth to them the enlightening of the good news of the glory of the Christ, who is the image of God;
and the great dragon was cast forth -- the old serpent, who is called 'Devil,' and 'the Adversary,' who is leading astray the whole world -- he was cast forth to the earth, and his messengers were cast forth with him.

he who is doing the sin, of the devil he is, because from the beginning the devil does sin; for this was the Son of God manifested, that he may break up the works of the devil;
