1 Disse Jeová a Moisés:2 Se alguém pecar e cometer uma ofensa contra Jeová, e se houver dolosamente com o seu próximo concernente a um depósito, ou penhor ou roubo, ou tiver usado de extorsão para com o seu próximo;3 se tiver achado o que se perdeu, e nisso se houver dolosamente, e jurar falso; se fizer qualquer de todas as coisas que faz o homem, pecando nelas;4 então será que, se pecou e é culpado; restituirá o que roubou, ou o que extorquiu, ou o que lhe foi depositado, ou a coisa perdida que achou,5 ou qualquer coisa sobre que jurou falso; restituí-lo-á por inteiro, e a isso acrescentará a quinta parte; a quem pertence, lho dará no dia em que se confessar culpado.6 Como a sua oferta pela culpa trará a Jeová um carneiro sem defeito, tirado do rebanho, conforme a tua avaliação, trá-lo-á ao sacerdote para uma oferta pela culpa.7 O sacerdote fará expiação por ele diante de Jeová, e ele será perdoado, em qualquer uma de todas as coisas que faz o homem, tornando-se nelas culpado.8 Disse mais Jeová a Moisés;9 Ordena a Arão e a seus filhos, dizendo: Esta é a lei do holocausto: o holocausto ficará na lareira do altar a noite toda até pela manhã, e nesse lugar se conservará aceso o fogo do altar.10 O sacerdote vestirá a sua veste de linho, e vestirá as calças sobre a sua carne; levantará a cinza a que foi reduzido o holocausto sobre o altar, e a porá junto ao altar.11 Depois despirá as suas vestes e, vestido com outras, levará a cinza para fora do arraial a um lugar limpo.12 O fogo sobre o altar se conservará aceso; não se apagará. O sacerdote nele acenderá lenha todos os dias pela manhã; sobre ele porá em ordem o holocausto, e sobre ele queimará a gordura das ofertas pacíficas.13 O fogo se conservará aceso sobre o altar continuamente; não se apagará.14 Esta á a lei da oferta de cereais; os filhos de Arão a oferecerão na presença de Jeová, diante do altar.15 Um deles tomará dela um punhado, a saber, da flor de farinha da oferta de cereais e do azeite da mesma, e tomará todo o incenso que estiver sobre a oferta de cereais, e os queimará sobre o altar por suave cheiro, como o memorial da oferta a Jeová.16 O que ficar da oferta, isso comerão Arão e seus filhos; comer-se-á sem fermento num santo lugar; no átrio da tenda da revelação.17 Levedado não se cozerá. Como a sua porção das minhas ofertas queimadas lho tenho dado; coisa santíssima e, como a oferta pelo pecado e como a oferta pela culpa.18 Todo o macho entre os filhos de Arão comerá dela, como de uma coisa que, das ofertas queimadas, de Jeová, vos é devida para sempre nas vossas gerações; todo o que tocar nelas será santo.19 Disse mais Jeová a Moisés:20 Esta é a oblação de Arão e de seus filhos, a qual oferecerão a Jeová no dia em que for ungido: oferecerão para sempre a décima parte de uma efa de flor de farinha como uma oferta de cereais, metade dela pela manhã, e metade à tarde.21 Numa assadeira se preparará com azeite; depois de estar embebida, a trarás; em pedaços cozidos oferecerás a oferta de cereais por suave cheiro a Jeová.22 O sacerdote ungido que dentre seus filhos lhe suceder a oferecerá; por estatuto perpétuo será de todo queimada a Jeová.23 Toda a oferta de cereais do sacerdote será totalmente queimada; não se comerá.24 Disse ainda mais Jeová a Moisés:25 Fala a Arão e a seus filhos: Esta é a lei da oferta pelo pecado: ela será morta diante de Jeová no lugar em que é morto o holocausto; coisa santíssima é.26 O sacerdote que a oferece pelo pecado a comerá; num lugar santo se comerá, no átrio da tenda da revelação.27 Tudo o que tocar a carne da oferta será santo; quando algum vestido se aspergir do sangue dela, num lugar santo lavarás o que assim se aspergiu.28 Mas o vaso de barro em que foi cozida será quebrado; se for cozida num vaso de cobre, será esfregado e lavado em água.29 Todo o homem entre os sacerdotes comerá dela; coisa santíssima é.30 Não se comerá nenhuma oferta pelo pecado, da qual uma parte do sangue é trazida para dentro da tenda da revelação, a fim de fazer expiação no santo lugar; será queimada com fogo.

1 The Lord spoke to Moses, saying:2 Whosoever shall sin, and despising the Lord, shall deny to his neighbour the thing delivered to his keeping, which was committed to his trust; or shall by force extort any thing, or commit oppression;3 Or shall find a thing lost, and denying it, shall also swear falsely, or shall do any other of the many things, wherein men are wont to sin:4 Being convicted of the offence, he shall restore5 All that he would have gotten by fraud, in the principal, and the fifth part besides to the owner, whom he wronged.6 Moreover for his sin he shall offer a ram without blemish out of the flock, and shall give it to the priest, according to the estimation and measure of the offence:7 And he shall pray for him before the Lord, and he shall have forgiveness for every thing in doing of which he hath sinned.8 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:9 Command Aaron and his sons: This is the law of a holocaust: It shall be burnt upon the altar, all night until morning: the fire shall be of the same altar.10 The priest shall be vested with the tunick and the linen breeches, and he shall take up the ashes of that which the devouring fire hath burnt, and putting them beside the altar,11 Shall put off his former vestments, and being clothed with others, shall carry them forth without the camp, and shall cause them to be consumed to dust in a very clean place,12 And the fire on the altar shall always burn, and the priest shall feed it, putting wood on it every day in the morning, and laying on the holocaust, shall burn thereupon the fat of the peace offerings.13 This is the perpetual fire which shall never go out on the altar.14 This is the law of the sacrifice and libations, which the children of Aaron shall offer before the Lord, and before the altar.15 The priest shall take a handful of the flour that is tempered with oil, and all the frankincense that is put upon the flour: and he shall burn it on the altar for a memorial of most sweet odour to the Lord:16 And the part of the flour that is left, Aaron and his sons shall eat, without leaven: and he shall eat it in the holy place of the court of the tabernacle.17 And therefore it shall not be leavened, because part thereof is offered for the burnt sacrifice of the Lord. It shall be most holy, as that which is offered for sin and for trespass.18 The males only of the race of Aaron shall eat it. It shall be an ordinance everlasting in your generations concerning the sacrifices of the Lord: Every one that toucheth them shall be sanctified.19 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:20 This is the oblation of Aaron, and of his sons, which they must offer to the Lord, in the day of their anointing: They shall offer the tenth part of an ephi of flour for a perpetual sacrifice, half of it in the morning, and half of it in the evening:21 It shall be tempered with oil, and shall be fried in a fryingpan.22 And the priest that rightfully succeedeth his father, shall offer it hot, for a most sweet odour to the Lord, and it shall be wholly burnt on the altar.23 For every sacrifice of the priest shall be consumed with fire, neither shall any man eat thereof.24 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:25 Say to Aaron and his sons: This is the law of the victim for sin: in the place where the holocaust is offered, it shall be immolated before the Lord. It is holy of holies.26 The priest that offereth it, shall eat it in a holy place, in the court of the tabernacle.27 Whatsoever shall touch the flesh thereof, shall be sanctified. If a garment be sprinkled with the blood thereof, it shall be washed in a holy place.28 And the earthen vessel, wherein it was sodden, shall be broken, but if the vessel be of brass, it shall be scoured, and washed with water.29 Every male of the priestly race shall eat of the flesh thereof, because it is holy of holies.30 For the victim that is slain for sin, the blood of which is carried into the tabernacle of the testimony to make atonement in the sanctuary, shall not be eaten, but shall be burnt with fire.
