As sete pragas

1 Vi no céu *cp.Ap 12.1,3outro sinal grande e maravilhoso: *Ap 15.6-8;Ap 16.1;17.1;21.9sete anjos com as *cp.Lv 26.21, etc.sete *cp.Ap 9.20últimas pragas, pois nelas é consumada a ira de Deus.

Os remidos cantam o cântico de Moisés e o cântico do Cordeiro

2 Vi um como *Ap 4.6mar de vidro, misturado de fogo, e os que *Ap 12.11venceram a *Ap 13.1besta, a *Ap 13.14s.sua imagem e o *Ap 13.17número de seu nome, que estavam em pé sobre o mar de vidro, com *Ap 5.8as harpas de Deus. 3 Cantavam o *Êx 15.1ss.cântico de Moisés, *Js 22.5, etc.;Hb 3.5servo de Deus, e *Ap 5.9-10,12-13o cântico do Cordeiro, dizendo:

*Dt 32.3s.;Sl 111.2;139.14;Os 14.9Grandes e maravilhosas são as tuas obras, *Ap 1.8ó Senhor Deus, Todo-Poderoso! Justos e verdadeiros são os teus caminhos, *1Tm 1.17;Jr 10.7ó Rei das nações!

4 *Ap 14.7;Jr 10.7Quem não te temerá, Senhor, e quem não glorificará o teu nome? Pois só tu és santo. *Sl 86.9; cp.Is 66.23Todas as nações virão e se prostrarão diante de ti, porque os teus *cp.Ap 19.8juízos foram manifestos.

5 Depois disso, olhei, e abriu-se o *Ap 11.19santuário do *Êx 38.21;Nm 1.50; cp.Hb 8.5;Ap 13.6tabernáculo do Testemunho no céu, 6 e *Ap 14.15saíram do santuário os *Ap 15.1sete anjos que tinham as sete pragas, vestidos de *Ap 19.8linho puro, e resplandecente, e *Ap 1.13cingidos pelos peitos com cintas de ouro. 7 Uma das *Ap 4.6quatro criaturas viventes deu aos *Ap 15.1sete anjos sete *cp.Ap 5.8taças de ouro, cheias *Ap 15.1;Ap 14.10da ira do Deus que *Ap 4.9vive pelos séculos dos séculos. 8 O santuário encheu-se do *Êx 19.18;Is 6.4; cp.Êx 40.34s.;Lv 16.2;1Rs 8.10s.;2Cr 5.13s.fumo da glória de Deus e do seu poder; e ninguém podia entrar no santuário, enquanto não se cumprissem as sete pragas dos sete anjos.

1 And I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvellous, seven angels having the seven last plagues; for in them is filled up the wrath of God. 2 And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God. 3 And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvellous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints. 4 Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name? for thou only art holy: for all nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgments are made manifest. 5 And after that I looked, and, behold, the temple of the tabernacle of the testimony in heaven was opened: 6 And the seven angels came out of the temple, having the seven plagues, clothed in pure and white linen, and having their breasts girded with golden girdles. 7 And one of the four beasts gave unto the seven angels seven golden vials full of the wrath of God, who liveth for ever and ever. 8 And the temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God, and from his power; and no man was able to enter into the temple, till the seven plagues of the seven angels were fulfilled.
