Os israelitas fiéis são salvos de perigos iminentes

1 Depois disso, vi *cp.Ap 9.14quatro anjos em pé aos *Ap 20.8;Is 11.12; cp.Ez 7.2quatro cantos da terra, segurando *Jr 49.36;Zc 6.5;Mt 24.31os quatro ventos da terra, para *cp.Ap 7.3;Ap 8.7;9.4que nenhum vento soprasse sobre ela, nem sobre o mar, nem sobre árvore alguma. 2 Vi outro anjo levantar-se *Ap 16.12; cp.Is 41.2da parte do nascimento do sol, tendo o *Ap 9.4; cp.Ap 7.3selo do *Mt 16.16Deus vivo. Ele clamou, com uma grande voz, aos quatro anjos, a quem fora dado que fizessem dano à terra e ao mar, 3 dizendo: *Ap 6.6Não façais dano à terra, nem ao mar, nem às árvores antes de termos *Ap 7.3-8;Jo 3.33selado os servos de nosso Deus nas suas *Ap 14.1;22.4;Ez 9.4,6; cp.Ap 13.16;14.9;20.4testas. 4 Ouvi *Ap 9.16o número dos que foram com selo assinalados: *Ap 14.1,3cento e quarenta e quatro mil, assinalados de todas as tribos dos filhos de Israel:

5 da tribo de Judá foram assinalados doze mil;

da tribo de Rúben, doze mil;

da tribo de Gade, doze mil;

6 da tribo de Aser, doze mil;

da tribo de Naftali, doze mil;

da tribo de Manassés, doze mil;

7 da tribo de Simeão, doze mil;

da tribo de Levi, doze mil;

da tribo de Issacar, doze mil;

8 da tribo de Zebulom, doze mil;

da tribo de José, doze mil;

da tribo de Benjamim foram assinaladas doze mil.

Os mártires na glória

9 Depois dessas coisas, olhei, e eis uma grande multidão que ninguém podia contar, *Ap 5.9de toda nação e de todas as tribos, povos e línguas, que estavam em pé *Ap 7.15diante do trono e *cp.Ap 22.3diante do Cordeiro, cobertos de *Ap 6.11; cp.Ap 7.14vestiduras brancas *cp.Lv 23.40com palmas nas mãos; 10 e clamavam com uma grande voz:

*Ap 12.10;19.1; cp.Sl 3.8Salvação a nosso Deus que está sentado sobre o trono, e ao Cordeiro.

11 Todos os anjos estavam em pé *Ap 4.4ao redor do trono e dos anciãos e das *Ap 4.6quatro criaturas viventes; *Ap 4.10prostraram-se sobre os rostos diante do trono e adoraram a Deus, 12 dizendo:

*Ap 5.14Amém. *Ap 5.12A bênção, e a glória, e a sabedoria, e as ações de graças, e a honra, e o poder e a força sejam a nosso Deus pelos séculos dos séculos. *Ap 5.14Amém.

13 Um dos anciãos me perguntou: Estes que trajam *Ap 7.9vestiduras brancas, quem são eles e donde vieram? 14 Respondi-lhe: Meu Senhor, tu o sabes. Disse-me ele: Estes são os que vêm da *Mt 24.21grande tribulação, *Ap 22.14; cp.Zc 3.3-5lavaram as suas vestiduras e as embranqueceram *Hb 9.14;1Jo 1.7no sangue do Cordeiro. 15 Por isso, estão *Ap 7.9diante do trono de Deus *Ap 22.3; cp.Ap 4.8e o adoram dia e noite no seu *Ap 11.19; cp.21.22santuário; *Ap 4.9e o que está sentado sobre o trono estenderá o seu *Ap 21.3; cp.Lv 26.11;Ez 37.27;Jo 1.14tabernáculo sobre eles. 16 *Is 49.10;Sl 121.5s.Eles não terão fome, nem sede nunca jamais; nem cairá sobre eles o sol, nem calor algum, 17 porque o Cordeiro que está no meio do trono os *Sl 23.1s.;Mt 2.6;Jo 10.11pastoreará e os conduzirá às fontes da *Ap 21.6;22.1; cp.Jo 4.14água da vida. E *Ap 21.4;Is 25.8; cp.Mt 5.4Deus enxugará toda lágrima dos olhos deles.

1 And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree. 2 And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea, 3 Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads. 4 And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel. 5 Of the tribe of Juda were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Reuben were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Gad were sealed twelve thousand. 6 Of the tribe of Aser were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Nepthalim were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Manasses were sealed twelve thousand. 7 Of the tribe of Simeon were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Levi were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Issachar were sealed twelve thousand. 8 Of the tribe of Zabulon were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Joseph were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Benjamin were sealed twelve thousand. 9 After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands; 10 And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb. 11 And all the angels stood round about the throne, and about the elders and the four beasts, and fell before the throne on their faces, and worshipped God, 12 Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen. 13 And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they? 14 And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. 15 Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them. 16 They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat. 17 For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.
