Reinado do justo rei

1 Eis que, em justiça, reinará *Is 9.6-7;11.4-5;Sl 72.1-4;Jr 23.5;33.15;Ez 37.24;Zc 9.9um rei, e, em retidão, governarão príncipes. 2 Um varão servirá de *Is 4.6;25.4abrigo contra o vento, de esconderijo contra a tempestade, de *Is 35.6;41.18;43.19-20rios de água numa terra árida e de sombra de uma grande penha numa terra sedenta. 3 *Is 29.18Os olhos dos que veem não se ofuscarão, e os ouvidos dos que ouvem escutarão. 4 Também o coração dos *Is 29.24temerários entenderá o conhecimento, e a língua dos gagos estará pronta a falar distintamente. 5 *1Sm 25.25O tolo não será mais chamado nobre, nem o fraudulento será mais intitulado generoso. 6 Pois o tolo falará tolices, e o seu coração *Is 59.7,13;Pv 19.3;24.7-9obrará a iniquidade, para praticar *Is 9.17;10.6a profanidade e proferir *Is 3.12;9.15-16erros contra Jeová, para *Is 3.15;10.2deixar vazia a alma do faminto e fazer faltar a bebida ao sedento. 7 Também as maquinações do fraudulento são más; é ele *Jr 5.26-28;Mq 7.3quem forma planos sinistros para perder *Is 11.4;29.19;61.1os mansos com palavras mentirosas, *Is 5.23ainda quando o pobre fala o que é justo. 8 *Êx 35.21-29;1Cr 29.6-9,17;Pv 11.25;2Co 9.6-11O nobre, porém, forma planos nobres e neles permanecerá.

Admoestação às mulheres

9 Levantai-vos, *Is 47.8;Sf 2.15mulheres indolentes, e ouvi a minha voz; *Is 28.23escutai, filhas descuidadas, o meu discurso. 10 Num ano e dias, sereis perturbadas, mulheres descuidadas, pois a *Is 5.5-6;7.23;24.7vindima está consumida, e não virá a colheita. 11 Tremei, mulheres indolentes, *Is 22.12turbai-vos, ó descuidadas; *Is 47.2despi-vos, ponde-vos nuas e cingi de saco os vossos lombos. 12 *Na 2.7Baterão nos seus peitos por causa dos campos aprazíveis, por causa da vinha frutífera. 13 *Is 5.6,10,17;27.10Espinhos e abrolhos virão sobre a terra do meu povo, sobre todas as casas de alegria, numa *Is 22.2;23.7cidade jubilosa. 14 *Is 13.22;25.2;34.13O palácio será abandonado; *Is 6.11;22.2;24.10,12a cidade populosa ficará deserta; o outeiro e a atalaia servirão de *Is 13.21;34.13covis para sempre, folga dos *Sl 104.11;Jr 14.6asnos monteses e pasto dos rebanhos; 15 até que sobre nós se derrame *Is 11.2;44.3;59.21;Ez 39.29;Jl 2.28o Espírito lá do alto, o deserto se torne *Is 29.17;35.1-2;Sl 107.35em campo fértil e o campo fértil seja reputado por um bosque.

1 Behold, a king shall reign in righteousness, and princes shall rule in judgment. 2 And a man shall be as an hiding place from the wind, and a covert from the tempest; as rivers of water in a dry place, as the shadow of a great rock in a weary land.*32.2 great: Heb. heavy 3 And the eyes of them that see shall not be dim, and the ears of them that hear shall hearken. 4 The heart also of the rash shall understand knowledge, and the tongue of the stammerers shall be ready to speak plainly.*32.4 rash: Heb. hasty*32.4 plainly: or, elegantly 5 The vile person shall be no more called liberal, nor the churl said to be bountiful. 6 For the vile person will speak villany, and his heart will work iniquity, to practise hypocrisy, and to utter error against the LORD, to make empty the soul of the hungry, and he will cause the drink of the thirsty to fail. 7 The instruments also of the churl are evil: he deviseth wicked devices to destroy the poor with lying words, even when the needy speaketh right.*32.7 the needy…: or, he speaketh against the poor in judgment 8 But the liberal deviseth liberal things; and by liberal things shall he stand.*32.8 stand: or, be established

9 Rise up, ye women that are at ease; hear my voice, ye careless daughters; give ear unto my speech. 10 Many days and years shall ye be troubled, ye careless women: for the vintage shall fail, the gathering shall not come.*32.10 Many…: Heb. Days above a year 11 Tremble, ye women that are at ease; be troubled, ye careless ones: strip you, and make you bare, and gird sackcloth upon your loins. 12 They shall lament for the teats, for the pleasant fields, for the fruitful vine.*32.12 pleasant…: Heb. fields of desire 13 Upon the land of my people shall come up thorns and briers; yea, upon all the houses of joy in the joyous city:*32.13 yea…: or, burning upon 14 Because the palaces shall be forsaken; the multitude of the city shall be left; the forts and towers shall be for dens for ever, a joy of wild asses, a pasture of flocks;*32.14 forts…: or, clifts and watchtowers 15 Until the spirit be poured upon us from on high, and the wilderness be a fruitful field, and the fruitful field be counted for a forest. 16 Then judgment shall dwell in the wilderness, and righteousness remain in the fruitful field. 17 And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever. 18 And my people shall dwell in a peaceable habitation, and in sure dwellings, and in quiet resting places; 19 When it shall hail, coming down on the forest; and the city shall be low in a low place.*32.19 low in…: or, utterly abased 20 Blessed are ye that sow beside all waters, that send forth thither the feet of the ox and the ass.
