Provérbios 19

do que aquele que é perverso de lábios e tolo.

2 Não é bom *Pv 19.8proceder sem refletir,

e erra o alvo *Pv 21.5;28.20;29.20quem é precipitado.

3 A *Pv 11.3estultícia do homem subverte os seus caminhos

e é contra Jeová que o seu coração *Sl 37.7;Is 8.21se irrita.

4 *Pv 14.20As riquezas multiplicam muito os amigos,

mas *Pv 19.7o pobre está separado do seu amigo.

14 Casa e riquezas são *2Co 12.14herdadas dos pais,

mas a *Pv 18.22mulher sábia vem de Jeová.

15 *Pv 6.9-10;24.33A preguiça faz cair em profundo sono,

e a *Pv 10.4;20.4,13;23.21alma remissa padecerá fome.

16 Quem *Pv 16.17;Lc 10.28;11.28guarda os mandamentos guarda a sua alma,

mas aquele que *Pv 13.13;15.10não faz caso dos seus caminhos morrerá.

17 Quem *Pv 14.31;28.27;Dt 15.7-8;Ec 11.1-2;Mt 10.42;25.40;2Co 9.6-8;Hb 6.10se compadece do pobre empresta a Jeová,

que lhe retribuirá *Pv 12.14;Lc 6.38o seu benefício.

e não consintas na sua destruição.

19 Quem se deixa levar pela cólera deve sofrer-lhe a pena,

porque, se o livrares, terás de o fazer de novo.

Para que sejas sábio nos teus últimos dias.

21 Muitos são os *Pv 16.1,9projetos no coração do homem,

22 O que faz um homem desejável é a sua benignidade.

Mais vale o pobre do que o mentiroso.

e mal nenhum *Pv 12.21;Sl 91.10o visitará.

e nem ao menos quer levá-la à boca.

27 Cessa, filho meu, de ouvir a instrução,

28 A testemunha vil zomba da justiça,

29 Aparelhados estão os juízos para os *Pv 9.12;Sl 1.1escarnecedores,

e os *Pv 10.13;18.6;26.3açoites, para as costas dos tolos.

1 Better is the poor that walketh in his integrity, than he that is perverse in his lips, and is a fool. 2 Also, that the soul be without knowledge, it is not good; and he that hasteth with his feet sinneth. 3 The foolishness of man perverteth his way: and his heart fretteth against the LORD. 4 Wealth maketh many friends; but the poor is separated from his neighbour. 5 A false witness shall not be unpunished, and he that speaketh lies shall not escape.*19.5 unpunished: Heb. held innocent
