Purificação de Jerusalém

1 Naquele dia, haverá uma *Jr 2.13;17.13fonte aberta para a casa de Davi e para os habitantes de Jerusalém, para remover o *Sl 51.2,7;Is 1.16-18;Jo 1.29pecado e a *Nm 19.17;Is 4.4;Ez 36.25imundícia. 2 Naquele dia, diz Jeová dos Exércitos, *Êx 23.13;Os 2.17cortarei da terra os nomes dos ídolos, e deles não haverá mais memória; também farei cessar da terra os *Jr 23.14-15profetas e *1Rs 22.22;Ez 36.25,29o espírito imundo. 3 Se alguém ainda *Jr 23.34profetizar, seu pai e sua mãe, que o geraram, lhe dirão: *Dt 18.20;Ez 14.9Não viverás, porque falas *Jr 23.25mentiras em nome de Jeová. *Dt 13.6-11;Mt 10.37Seu pai e sua mãe, que o geraram, o traspassarão quando profetizar. 4 Naquele dia, *Jr 6.15;8.9;Mq 3.7serão envergonhados os profetas, cada um da sua visão, quando profetizar; e não se vestirão de *2Rs 1.8;Is 20.2;Mt 3.4manto de pelos, para enganarem; 5 mas dirá: *Am 7.14Não sou profeta, sou lavrador da terra, porque tenho sido feito escravo desde a minha mocidade. 6 Alguém lhe perguntará: Que são estas feridas *2Rs 9.24entre os teus braços? Então, responderá ele: As com que fui ferido na casa dos meus amigos.

7 Desperta, *Jr 47.6;Ez 21.3-5ó espada, contra o meu *Is 40.11;Ez 34.23-24;37.24;Mq 5.2,4pastor e contra o homem que é o meu *Sl 2.2;Jr 23.5-6companheiro, diz Jeová dos Exércitos; *Is 53.4-5,10;Mt 26.31;Mc 14.27fere ao pastor, e espalhar-se-ão as ovelhas; *Is 1.25e voltarei a minha mão para os pequeninos. 8 Em toda a terra, diz Jeová, *Is 6.13;Ez 5.2-4,12duas partes nela serão exterminadas e perecerão; mas a terceira ficará nela. 9 Farei passar a terceira parte pelo *Is 48.10;Ml 3.3fogo, e os purificarei como se purifica a prata, e os provarei como se prova o ouro. Eles *Zc 12.10;Sl 34.15-17;50.15invocarão o meu nome, e eu *Zc 10.6;Is 58.9;65.24;Jr 20.11-13os escutarei. Eu direi: São *Os 2.23meu povo; e eles dirão: Jeová é o meu Deus.

2 And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the LORD of hosts, that I will cut off the names of the idols out of the land, and they shall no more be remembered: and also I will cause the prophets and the unclean spirit to pass out of the land. 3 And it shall come to pass, that when any shall yet prophesy, then his father and his mother that begat him shall say unto him, Thou shalt not live; for thou speakest lies in the name of the LORD: and his father and his mother that begat him shall thrust him through when he prophesieth. 4 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the prophets shall be ashamed every one of his vision, when he hath prophesied; neither shall they wear a rough garment to deceive:*13.4 a rough…: Heb. a garment of hair*13.4 deceive: Heb. lie 5 But he shall say, I am no prophet, I am an husbandman; for man taught me to keep cattle from my youth. 6 And one shall say unto him, What are these wounds in thine hands? Then he shall answer, Those with which I was wounded in the house of my friends.

7 Awake, O sword, against my shepherd, and against the man that is my fellow, saith the LORD of hosts: smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered: and I will turn mine hand upon the little ones. 8 And it shall come to pass, that in all the land, saith the LORD, two parts therein shall be cut off and die; but the third shall be left therein. 9 And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people: and they shall say, The LORD is my God.
