Zacarias 12

O futuro poder de Judá

1 Oráculo da palavra de Jeová acerca de Israel.

Assim diz Jeová, que *Is 42.5;44.24;Jr 51.15estende os céus, que *Jó 26.7;Sl 102.25-26;Hb 1.10-12lança os alicerces da terra e que *Is 57.16;Hb 12.9forma o espírito do homem dentro dele. 2 Eis que farei de Jerusalém um campo de titubeação a todos os povos em redor, e sobre *Zc 14.14Judá também virá ela no cerco contra Jerusalém. 3 Naquele dia, farei de Jerusalém uma *Dn 2.34-35,44-45pedra de carga a todos os povos; todos os que carregarem com ela serão *Mt 21.44gravemente feridos; e ajuntar-se-ão contra ela todas *Zc 14.2as nações da terra. 4 Naquele dia, diz Jeová, ferirei de pasmo todos *Zc 9.10;10.5;14.15os cavalos e, de loucura, os que montam neles; abrirei os meus olhos sobre a casa de Judá e ferirei de cegueira todos os cavalos dos povos. 5 Os chefes de Judá dirão no seu coração: Os habitantes de Jerusalém são a minha *Zc 10.6,12força em Jeová dos Exércitos, seu Deus. 6 Naquele dia, porei os chefes de Judá como um braseiro de *Zc 11.1;Is 10.17-18;Ob 18fogo no meio de lenha e como uma tocha de fogo entre feixes. Eles devorarão à direita e à esquerda todos os povos em redor; *Zc 2.4;8.3-5e Jerusalém habitará ainda outra vez no seu lugar, isto é, em Jerusalém. 7 Também Jeová *Jr 30.18salvará primeiro as tendas de Judá, para que a glória da casa *Am 9.11de Davi e a glória dos habitantes de Jerusalém não se engrandeçam sobre Judá. 8 Naquele dia, *Zc 9.14-15;Jl 3.16defenderá Jeová os habitantes de Jerusalém; o que dentre eles *Lv 26.8;Js 23.10;Mq 7.8tropeçar naquele dia será como Davi; e a casa de Davi será como *Sl 8.5;82.6Deus, como o *Êx 14.19;33.2Anjo de Jeová diante deles. 9 Naquele dia, *Zc 1.21;14.2-3procurarei destruir as nações que vierem contra Jerusalém.

10 *Is 44.3;Ez 39.29;Jl 2.28-29Derramarei sobre a casa de Davi e sobre os habitantes de Jerusalém o espírito de *Zc 7.9;2Sm 9.3graça e de súplica. Olharão para mim, a quem *Jo 19.37;Ap 1.7traspassaram, e farão pranto sobre mim, como quem *Jr 6.26;Am 8.10pranteia seu filho único; serão amargurados por causa de mim como quem o está por causa do seu primogênito. 11 Naquele dia, haverá um *Mt 24.30;Ap 1.7grande pranto em Jerusalém, como o pranto de Hadadrimom no vale de Megido. 12 A terra pranteará, *Zc 7.3cada família à parte: a família da casa de Davi à parte, e suas mulheres à parte; a família da casa de Natã à parte, e suas mulheres à parte; 13 a família da casa de Levi à parte, e suas mulheres à parte; a família dos simeítas à parte, e suas mulheres à parte; 14 todas as mais famílias, cada família à parte, e suas mulheres à parte.

1 The burden of the word of the LORD for Israel, saith the LORD, which stretcheth forth the heavens, and layeth the foundation of the earth, and formeth the spirit of man within him. 2 Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem.*12.2 trembling: or, slumber, or, poison*12.2 when…: or, and also against Judah shall he be which shall be in siege against Jerusalem

3 And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it. 4 In that day, saith the LORD, I will smite every horse with astonishment, and his rider with madness: and I will open mine eyes upon the house of Judah, and will smite every horse of the people with blindness. 5 And the governors of Judah shall say in their heart, The inhabitants of Jerusalem shall be my strength in the LORD of hosts their God.*12.5 The inhabitants…: or, There is strength to me and to the inhabitants, etc

6 In that day will I make the governors of Judah like an hearth of fire among the wood, and like a torch of fire in a sheaf; and they shall devour all the people round about, on the right hand and on the left: and Jerusalem shall be inhabited again in her own place, even in Jerusalem. 7 The LORD also shall save the tents of Judah first, that the glory of the house of David and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem do not magnify themselves against Judah. 8 In that day shall the LORD defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and he that is feeble among them at that day shall be as David; and the house of David shall be as God, as the angel of the LORD before them.*12.8 feeble: or, abject: Heb. fallen

9 And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem. 10 And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn. 11 In that day shall there be a great mourning in Jerusalem, as the mourning of Hadadrimmon in the valley of Megiddon. 12 And the land shall mourn, every family apart; the family of the house of David apart, and their wives apart; the family of the house of Nathan apart, and their wives apart;*12.12 every…: Heb. families, families 13 The family of the house of Levi apart, and their wives apart; the family of Shimei apart, and their wives apart;*12.13 of Shimei: or, of Simeon, as LXX 14 All the families that remain, every family apart, and their wives apart.
