Zacarias 11

O castigo dos impenitentes

1 Abre as tuas portas, ó Líbano, para que *Jr 22.6-7o fogo devore os teus *Ez 31.3cedros. 2 Uiva, ó cipreste, porque *Is 2.12-13;10.33-34;Ez 17.24já caiu o cedro, porque já foram destruídos os principais; uivai, ó carvalhos de Basã, porque o forte bosque já foi abatido. 3 Voz do *Jr 25.34-36uivar dos pastores! Porque a sua glória está destruída; voz do *Jr 2.15;50.44rugir dos leões novos! Porque a soberba do Jordão está destruída.

4 Assim diz Jeová, meu Deus: Apascenta tu as ovelhas *Zc 11.7;Sl 44.22destinadas para o matadouro, 5 as quais matam os que as possuem *Jr 50.7e não se têm por culpados. Os que as vendem dizem: Bendito seja Jeová, porque *Os 12.8;1Tm 6.9eu sou rico; *Ez 34.2-3e os seus pastores não se compadecem delas. 6 Pois *Jr 13.14não me compadecerei mais dos habitantes da terra, diz Jeová; eis que, porém, *Zc 14.13;Is 9.19-21;Mq 7.2-6entregarei os homens, cada um nas mãos do seu próximo e nas mãos do seu rei; eles ferirão a terra, *Sl 50.22;Mq 5.8e eu não os livrarei da mão deles. 7 Assim, *Zc 11.4apascentei as ovelhas destinadas para o matadouro, verdadeiramente as ovelhas *Jr 39.10;Sf 3.12mais miseráveis. Tomei para mim *Ez 37.16duas varas; a uma chamei *Zc 11.10;Sl 27.4;90.17Formosura, e a outra chamei *Zc 11.14;Sl 133.1;Ez 37.16-23União; e apascentei as ovelhas. 8 Exterminei os três pastores *Os 5.7num só mês; porque a minha alma se enfastiou deles, e a sua alma também teve nojo de mim. 9 Então, eu disse: Não vos apascentarei; o que *Jr 15.2morre, morra; o que há de ser exterminado, seja exterminado, e os que restam, comam cada um a carne do seu próximo. 10 Tomei a minha vara *Zc 11.7Formosura e a fiz em pedaços, *Sl 89.39;Jr 14.21para destruir a minha aliança que tinha feito com todos os povos. 11 Foi quebrada naquele dia; assim as miseráveis dentre *Sf 3.12as ovelhas que me respeitaram reconheceram que isso era a palavra de Jeová. 12 Eu lhe disse: Se vos parecer bem, dai-me a minha *1Rs 5.6;Ml 3.5paga; e, se não, deixai-vos disso. Pesaram, pois, por minha paga *Gn 37.28;Êx 21.32;Mt 26.15;27.9-10trinta moedas de prata. 13 Jeová disse-me: Arroja-as ao oleiro, esse belo preço em que fui apreçado por eles. *Mt 27.3-10;At 1.18-19Tomei as trinta moedas de prata e arrojei-as ao oleiro na Casa de Jeová. 14 Então fiz em pedaços a minha segunda vara *Zc 11.7União, para *Zc 11.6;Is 9.21dissolver a irmandade entre Judá e Israel.

15 Jeová disse-me: Toma tu ainda os instrumentos de um *Zc 11.17;Is 6.10-12pastor insensato. 16 Pois eis que suscitarei um pastor na terra, o qual *Jr 23.2não visitará as desgarradas, nem procurará as espalhadas, nem curará a quebrada, nem apascentará a sã; mas *Ez 34.2-6comerá a carne das gordas e lhes despedaçará as unhas. 17 *Zc 11.15;Zc 10.2;Jr 23.1Ai do pastor imprestável, que abandona as suas ovelhas! *Jr 50.35-37A espada cairá sobre o seu *Ez 30.21-22braço e sobre o seu *Is 29.10;Os 4.5;Mq 3.6-7olho direito; o seu braço será de todo mirrado, e o seu olho direito será inteiramente escurecido.

3 There is a voice of the howling of the shepherds; for their glory is spoiled: a voice of the roaring of young lions; for the pride of Jordan is spoiled.

4 Thus saith the LORD my God; Feed the flock of the slaughter; 5 Whose possessors slay them, and hold themselves not guilty: and they that sell them say, Blessed be the LORD; for I am rich: and their own shepherds pity them not. 6 For I will no more pity the inhabitants of the land, saith the LORD: but, lo, I will deliver the men every one into his neighbour’s hand, and into the hand of his king: and they shall smite the land, and out of their hand I will not deliver them.*11.6 deliver: Heb. make to be found 7 And I will feed the flock of slaughter, even you, O poor of the flock. 10 And I took my staff, even Beauty, and cut it asunder, that I might break my covenant which I had made with all the people. 11 And it was broken in that day: and so the poor of the flock that waited upon me knew that it was the word of the LORD.*11.11 so…: or, the poor of the flock, etc. certainly knew 12 And I said unto them, If ye think good, give me my price; and if not, forbear. And I took the thirty pieces of silver, and cast them to the potter in the house of the LORD. 14 Then I cut asunder mine other staff, even Bands, that I might break the brotherhood between Judah and Israel.*11.14 Bands: or, Binders

15 And the LORD said unto me, Take unto thee yet the instruments of a foolish shepherd. 16 For, lo, I will raise up a shepherd in the land, which shall not visit those that be cut off, neither shall seek the young one, nor heal that that is broken, nor feed that that standeth still: but he shall eat the flesh of the fat, and tear their claws in pieces.*11.16 cut off: or, hidden*11.16 feed: or, bear 17 Woe to the idol shepherd that leaveth the flock! the sword shall be upon his arm, and upon his right eye: his arm shall be clean dried up, and his right eye shall be utterly darkened.
